You are incorrect. The PO was in 2005. In 2008 a REPORT was given by MR concerning the "incident" with ER and CR (shown on the screen during the broadcast). IN that report he referred back to the 2005 PO as 2 years ago. PO (no drinking with kids in the car) was issued for 2 years in 2005.

NO criminal records for the ER or MR that I have found ... anywhere ... in any state. FWIW.

Thank you so much for responding. Again, this is what I heard and saw:

"...The family's strained relationship hit a breaking point in 2005 when Dylan's dad, Mark, requested an order of protection against his mom, Elaine, saying she was drinking and driving with kids..."

The next shot is a screen with the hand-written statement by Mark Redwine on it, reading:

"...2 years ago when living in Denver area, she was bad about drinking and driving with kids..."

I will go back and listen to it, yet again, and try to figure out what I'm not seeing. Perhaps I'll drag another child into it. Or a linguist.

Thank you again.

Wow. What a mess!

WHERE IS DYLAN??? :please:

Ransom,
Thanks so much! I don't believe I have the one about searching around MR's home/road but believe I have the others. I'll add/revise. Thanks again.

I still havent ever seen anything saying they brought bloodhounds to MR's front doorway. Even this article states it was around various subdivisions in Vallecito.

Members of La Plata County Search & Rescue team using bloodhounds searched for the teen Monday night and Tuesday. The search area included the shoreline around Vallecito Lake, several small subdivisions, county roads, steep wooded hillsides and hiking trails. Many of the homes in the area are seasonal while some are occupied year around.

But I am waiting to hear a description of what the dogs picked up as they left MR's front door.

La Plata County Search and Rescue members searched for Redwine Monday night in areas of County Road 500.

Mark REDWINE lives on CR 500. MONDAY is Nov. 19th ... the day DR was reported missing. Tuesday is Nov. 20th.

But I don't think they had any scent items for the dogs. So they couldn't search specifically for Dylan's scent trail. JMO

a commenter on a news story mentioned that MR is unaccounted for between 11AM-4:30PM on Monday. I never realized that. Has anyone heard of MR's whereabouts or activities between 11-4?

From what I understand, she was not ordered to not drive with the kids. She was ordered to not drink AND drive at the same time with the kids.

Um... isn't "no drunk driving with kids in the car" (or at all for that matter) kind of a given?? IMO.

But we don't know if his allegations are even valid. And it doesnt seem like the judge took them too seriously either, because his 'order' not to drink with kids in the car is kind of a joke. JMO

If that's the case and we don't know if it's valid, we shouldn't discuss it. She was still clearly told by a judge not to drink and take them in the car, there was obvious reason for that or am I wrong for thinking that?
Why is it that it seems MR could never claim ER had ever done something wrong? That's how it seems to me and I think it is slightly unfair to assume that ER has never done anything wrong either. JMO.

Could they still be waiting on Forensics?

they MUST be. I hope so. I know that can take some time. WHY did they wait 10 days to get forensics? Even if they didn't suspect MR, there would have been so much info in the house to go on, it is just negligent to not do forensics in the last place a person was known to be.

I wonder if this is why the older brother commented that he's not sure who his father is (sorry don't have a quote but read it in a post here earlier today).

Oh!! I took his comment to mean he didn't know his dad well enough to know what he may or may not be capable of....

you mean NR from Arizona, he's from MR's previous marriage not ER

his comment about not knowing who his father is was because he had a fragmented childhood with his father, which to me translates to didn't spend much time with him over the years, although I could be wrong

She could drive the kids; no driving with kids after/while she was drinking

One shouldn't be driving at all if one had been drinking.

slow down, y'all are posting faster than I can read and catch up!

You can deduce this from MR's statements. He came home at 11:30, but he didn't go to Bayfiled until hours later.
So obviously it's not clear what he was doing during the time between 11:30 and whatever time he went to Bayfield.

I wished LE would have taken MR to the ER for a blood alcohol level the minute he reported his son disappeared. I'll bet it wouldn't have been zero and MR hadn't drank for hours.

Regarding your last sentence, I tend to agree with you. I have wondered if MR not being more public when it could have helped Dylan might be related to alcohol difficulties. It's just possible, IMO.

Look carefully at him in the video-store interview. And that was after the pillow-clutching incident, followed by his brother coming to help him.

Just things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

Yea, he isn't saying he doesn't know who his biological father is, he is saying he doesn't really know what kind of person his father is.

Mike has 2 kids from a previous marriage.

I am not assuming she never did anything wrong. I am just responding to someones post who said that the judge ordered her not to drive with her kids for two years. I was just correcting that statement, because that was not what the judge ordered. That's all.

I am sure she made a lot of mistakes. But I see her life as heading in an upward trajectory in the past few years. But MR, not so much. JMO

wow. it's hard to follow the relational lines. I always had a hard time with that. so he's not sure of who his mom was with when he was conceived? He thinks MR might not be his dad?

Hoping to hear some news from LE today.

Nite all.

Yeah. Exactly. That's the point. <modsnip>. Probably just to appease MR. If there was a true concern, there would have been more actions taken.
