I don't understand why so many people are accusing MR of doing something, when it's obvious to me the stewardess did it.
If she helped DR put up his backpack to get it out of the way, she could have stolen the charger from it.
If she told DR he couldn't use his phone on the flight and took it away to put it into his backpack, she could have traded a warn out battery for the one that was in it.
If she put a mild sedative into a drink for him shortly before the plane landed, it could have made him too tired to do anything when he got home and oversleep in the morning.
If DR told her what his dad's car looked like and she could have hurried out to her car and watched for it to leave. She may have thought they were going right to the friend's house and that she might be able to grab him there.
If she followed them to Walmart, McDonald's, and home, she could have parked in her car until morning, planning to follow them to the friend's house.
If she went to the door when she saw MR leave alone, she could have said she had found the ipod on the plane after he left and was there to return it to him.
If she offered to take him to his friend's place, he might not have bothered to call before leaving because he didn't want to lose the ride.
If he got in her car and tried to call then, he may have found the lousy battery she put in it was dead.
If all these things did happen, she could have done anything to him and have hours before anyone would even know he was gone.
It COULD have happened, but does that mean it did? :waitasec:
