"Mark Redwine said he left the house about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19 to run errands, and that was the last time he saw his son. He returned about 11:30 a.m. to find Dylan gone. In an interview with The Denver Post, Mark Redwine said he returned to find a dirty cereal bowl near the sink, the television was on Nickelodeon, and his son’s fishing pole was missing.

Ezzell declined to comment about the statements."

I wonder why LE declined to comment.

Good question. I don't know. But, they really haven't commented on anything. I sure wish they would too. jmo

thanks for posting this. I knew I had read it but wasn't sure where. I think that is kind of scary unless constantly monitored by the parent. I wouldn't give my 14 year old grandson access to that. lol

Which one are you referring to that's kind of scary? The prepaid cell for kids or the prepaid MasterCard for kids? So many different things you can give your little ones to make their lives easier and freak you out at the same time!

He had a phone for which his mother was paying. Why would he buy a prepaid phone? He is 13, he doesn't have a job and so why would he pay for a second phone of which his parents know nothing about?

Don't ask me, I was just responding to someone saying you had to be a certain age...as far as that thought....I don't think it is at all the deal....
I do however know one thing, you can't have multiple FB accounts(didn't someone say he has 4)without a different email for each one.....4 email accounts that is crazy...I have hard enough time with one.

(Not to mention the great favor it would be doing for Dad, if they announce they are confident he slept at the house and then vanished-they have to know he is getting slammed on the internet by people who believe he harmed Dylan on Sunday night.)

I think LE probably thinks they are being generous by stating that nothing of investigation value was found at MR's house, that he's not a suspect and that he's been cooperating all this time without outright saying they don't think he had anything to do with it.

I also don't believe at this point that LE really cares what the internet is saying about Dad, or what the public wants to know about the case. They are sure keeping a lot of it secret.

Two things would be very helpful to us right now. To know for sure if they have ruled MR out as having done anything to Dylan and if they know for sure Dylan made it to the house that night.

I think the same thing. I also wonder was it turned off or was the battery dead? It's my understanding if its just turned off it can still be pinged but I'm not sure if that's true.

Everything I have read says that a cell phone won't ping when it is turned off.
imo

That was based on nothing but my opinions and suspicions. If he did have a second phone it was for a purpose of communicating with someone that could not be traced.

Maybe only one friend has the number or another family member?

I think Dylan got up sometime after his dad left, ate cereal during which time he turned on the tv, then picked up his backpack, grabbed his fishing rod, walked out the door and down the road to a pre-arranged pick up spot.

or all of the above except no pre-arranged pick up and was abducted while walking.

I cannot rule out either of the above and until I can I'm not about to get off my fence. I respect other's opinions and conclusions but at this time I'm very happy up here by the way. :fence: :fence:

I respect your opinion, but I do want to say I have my doubts about Dylan having some secret, hidden relationship and burn phones and all of that. In my gut, Dylan seems like a down to earth, regular, 13 yr old skater, gamer, baseball playing kid. There was talk of him having his first girlfriend back home this year.
I just don't see him being all cunning and secretive and making plans like that. But I could be wrong, for sure.

:fence: <--------- HERE it is. I'm helpful that way.

I DO know who/where the attorney of record for MR is located. It's NOT Durango. It's been referred to here ... if anyone paid attention.

 Before I get the needle or the lift off.

I remember that post! Was it a town that started with the letter "C"? But yea, he would have had to arrange to meet the attorney in Durango, so an appointment rather than drop in.

I agree that LE probably doesn't care about MR's reputation, etc...but my main point is that if they know where Dylan was on Sunday night they should say so for the sake of Dylan and anyone who might remember something from the Monday.

You would think..... You are right. This case is driving me crazy with so little go to on and as tight lipped as LE is about everything. We just can't seem to take anything off the table to see what's left that could lead us in the right direction.:banghead:

Sorry I haven't been able to be around much today. I was so hoping that Dylan had been found...or that we had received some kind of update from LE.
On another note, however, my daughter's wedding was absolutely precious. She was beautiful...and her hubby was the most handsome and happy I have ever seen him. I'm exhausted but elated. And no tears...not today.

Sorry, the fact that he had liked the prepaid Master Card on his FB. I never heard of such. jmo

I would also like a reporter to ask dad if it is true that he called/texted Dylan three times on Monday morning. Because if he did, it could help narrow down the timeline.

Me too! I'm not convinced keeping everything hush hush is solving enough cases. Seems like LE just waits until they get lucky and some hunters find the remains. GRRRR

ITA this goes back to if they know he was there on Sunday night and Monday morning when dad left at 7:30 that takes dad off the table and puts the focus back on a shorter specific time period, 7:30 - 11:30. Then emphasize this and stop stressing Sunday night. That is, if they're able to do this.

My eldest just became engaged. They are planning a wedding for next December. :cake:

Congratulations for getting through this lovely day. :heartbeat: :heartbeat:

Use the GPS capabilities of your cell to track the phone. While pinging is possible only when the phone is turned on, the cell phone company can track a GPS signal even with the cell turned off

AHA. So where the heck is Dylan's phone pinging????????

[ is that what they were looking for in the ditches last weekend, before the snow hit?]

"C" is correct. No meeting in Durango ... no office there. JMO and in before :nurse:

This is how I caught my ex husband cheating he had two FB accounts. Lol
