There are a couple of reporters from Channel 9. Kevin Torres was on vacation until yesterday I think. But the lady reporter did the protection order story, maybe contact her?

They can pick up the scent anyway because ER brought in items of Dylan's for that specific reason. Scent articles

I know that what im getting at is why did she have t bring things?
If Dylan was in that house there should be his scent.

There are bloodhounds that can follow a person down a road.
follow a person that got into a car.
Why isnt there a scent in Dads house?

I dont understand that.

I'm not trying to argue here, but I would love to see a link to this article. I didn't think this was a confirmed fact just heresay

Ugh. You're gonna make me do this? *lol* Ok

"When he got back at 11:30, his son's dirty cereal bowl was beside the sink. The television was on Nickelodeon. His son's fishing pole was gone. So was his black-and-gray backpack. A few articles of clothing were left behind on the couch."

Well It is a possibility!
LE has not said anything about MR's travels that day,

I thought they said they have been able to confirm where all he said he had been that morning? They would also know how long he stayed at each place too and how long it takes him to get back home and be there by 11:30am

Of course they are not going to tell the public because that is for them to know since they are the ones doing the investigation.

Any confirmation that MR actually worked at United Pipe at the time of Dylan's visit ? Or was it just that he had worked there in the past? I still find it interesting either way that MR and his co workers had knowledge or and access to lots of excavation sites and giant pipes. Look at the size of the pipe.

If you go out and research scent article for discriminating scent for dogs, you will find that they want very specific items.

They want clothes worn only by the person, preferable next to his skin, with socks and shoes being LESS desirable. A community blanket on a couch that was thrown over him one night is not the ideal scent article.

Would you want to take a chance on a dog following the wrong scent, or would you want to be absolutely sure that the dog was tracking Dylan's scent?

I believe the trackers asked for very specific items that could only be provided ER.

Glad to see we're still going around the same old tired bushes ...

Good morning! And I'll check back in from time to time looking for something new.

IIRC Sarx posted that upper body articles were best for scent dogs.

Just checking in.
Can't stop thinking of Dylan and where he could be. I have tried to take a break from this thread the last two days to step away from the sadness, but I find myself still thinking about this dear child and I can't get over that this young boy has seemingly vanished without a trace!
Why?! How?! What has happened?! Where is he?! Why do things like this keep happening to our children?!? I will never understand. It just makes me so, so sad.

Please let Dylan be found soon!:please:

Ha! Thanks! Really I thought that was just dad that said that and it hadn't been confirmed. Sorry to make you dig!

Well, actually, it does look like it was only dad saying it. But the reporter reporting that dad said it. (does that make sense?)

bolded, snipped by me:

http://www.kktv.com/news/headlines/Search-Continues-For-Missing-Boy-180366681.html

"Authorities say nothing helpful to the investigation was found inside his home."

so as not to paraphrase nor analyze, IMO one can safely surmise that 'nothing' means 'nothing'. zilch. zippo. nada.

Nothing HELPFUL ..

That could mean no blood or crime scene evidence;

No proof that Dylan never made it to the house (because if they could prove he didn't make it to the house, THAT would be HELPFUL);

No proof that MR is lying (because THAT would be helpful);

No proof of what might have happened to Dylan.

I think they are stumped.

imo

Yep, absolutely! Gives us something to debate about, huh?
