MR came home and DR was not there he figured he was at friends,so i see not a thing wrong with texting mom and asking has she heard from DR instead of calling, maybe MR was thinking DR told mom by phone or text what his plans where that day?

Mark's phone call to Elaine was a hoax imo. Elaine always knew Dylan was safe because she gave him a phone to use for that purpose and soon after Dylan arrived to stay with his father, his phone was suddenly shut off and now Elaine does not know where her son is and if he is safe. JMO

Sorry you were confused, you gave a possible reason in your opinion why Mom may have wanted custody to not pay support & I gave my opinion, with backup to why I don't believe that is true that she wanted custody not to pay support. I will try & spell it out better in the future, please don't take offense. Your opinion is valued as much as mine.

Correct. Two different people. I did see the Coffee shop employees posts on the Find Dylan page a while ago. Her posts saying the same inflammatory things are still on other facebook pages (NOT official Dylan page).

(I'm trying to stay within bounds of what I can say, sorry).

Hey Lotus - the official facebook is allowed but (there is always a but ) we are not going to bring their drama here.

Just say something like - see the post yesterday at 10:30 p.m., add the link and then move on, okay? We want to stay up on the news and happenings, but everything is considered rumor and we don't want to bring any drama here. We don't like drama - there is enough real life drama in these threads - we don't need facebook drama too, kwim?

Do you know this for sure? If I recall the person that was discussed the other day and caused the thread to shut down worked at a dog grooming place. The person from the FB thread worked at a coffee shop. Just curious if this is your speculation or if you actually saw the posts. MOO

We are not going to discuss the comments, guys. BUT is is allowed to tell others to "see the comment today at 5:45 p.m." and add the link. Everyone wants to share in the info, kwim?

We don't discuss it, because it is rumor and there is no way to substantiate. BUT we all also know that sometimes there is truth in rumors - so we want to know about it, even if we can't discuss it.

Links are allowed unless they come up with asteriks - then that means Management had determined, for any number o reasons, that the site is not allowed here.

But NG's pages are allowed here.

We do not know that his phone was "shut off." We know that it hasn't connected to a cell tower since 8pm that Sunday. We do not know why.

It could have been shut off, or the phone died, or the battery died or ran out of juice or something else.

Stating that the phone "suddenly shut off" is misleading IMHO.

How do you know she didn't? Is that reported anywhere? I really really really doubt that a mother would get a text (which imo is strange in itself) and NOT question the father.

Because Elaine told Nancy Grace that after she received a text from Mark informing her that Dylan was "missing" or whatever, she told him they should contact the Sheriff so imo Elaine did not question Mark because she is afraid of him imo.

How did that happen?

REDWINE: Well, his dad texted me at around, oh, 4:30. Maybe it was closer to 5:00 on Monday. And I texted him back. You know, it was like, Well, we should call the sheriff. So I went ahead and I actually called the sheriff that day. I don`t know if Mark had called the sheriff that day, either, but I called the sheriff right after I got the text from Mark.

Mark said after he texted Elaine he went to the police station.

i think he suggested driving to castle rock so he could see her.
i think he texted so he could alarm her enough into coming without her hearing the concern/guilt/whatever in his voice.

in early articles, it was stated that MH were 'significant others' and MSM referred to him as her 'boyfriend'. later articles called him her fiance. did MR even know that ER and MH were now engaged?

Just jumping in and asking, do you think that maybe they talk with each other on text because they both are not able to communicate in a normal fashion...and they have a way of not hearing each other get nasty this way? Seems like they have been use to this, and it is a typical behavior for all involved.
