And lets not forget that Mom stated that she had always been able to send and receive texts to/from Dylan at Dads prior to this. Dylan's friends would also know whether or not Dylan could send and receive texts from Dads.

Do we have any idea how many times Dylan had stayed at the house in Vallecito prior to the family moving in July?

I see we've now got three visits between MR and Dylan after the move. How often did they see each other before? Why wouldn't CR have wanted to go on the August vacation to Boston and NY?

It would be interesting to know if MR ever actually hired that attorney or not. I think it was reported that he had 'consulted' with or 'contacted' a defense attorney. But I don't recall reading he had 'hired' or ' retained' an attorney. But that attorney must have told him to quit talking to anyone because he's as quiet as a church mouse now, isn't he?

Also I agree with previous posts that this text exchange between the two boys must have been released at LE's approval or request and that they are letting out little tidbits. Hopefully more to come in the days ahead.

Actually hearing , just today, about the trip to Boston to see his beloved team one time before he moved off with his mom kind of gave me the creeps. I hope it's not what I think it is, but I better not say for now.

I think when they call off a search until spring it is way high up in the mountains, higher up than towns and roads are. I think it's more hikers and things. If there are towns, roads and civilization in vallecito area, there would be no reason to call off searches until spring. At least I hope that is the case

Yes the trip.......seems the trip of a ' lifetime' to get to go see your
favorite team play at home in their own stadium, across the country.
Here's a man who seems to plead poverty most of the time by refusing
to pay child support so how / why does he come up with the money for
what sounds like a pretty expensive trip ?

IMO something happened to Dylan between 8:01pm and 9:26pm Sunday night. I sure would like to know what time they were at Walmart. Was the photo of Dylan arriving or leaving? If they did indeed go to eat first then to Walmart and then headed home the time they left Walmart is very important.

This is what I keep asking. Was that picture of Dylan at walmart coming or going? What time was it?

Has it been proven he was behind or is this based on AZGrandma? I'm not being snarky, I'm just curious. As far as the trip goes, wasn't there talk of MR driving a truck or something like that? MY DH took many trips with his dad as a kid while his dad was driving a truck across the country.

Well the article referenced it as a "road trip". That's about 2300 miles of driving each way. Did they really drive there and back? How long was that vacation?

Azgrandma said he was behind up to 40k on child support and invited us to sleuth the records and in doing so , she was proven to be accurate ! I'm afraid we're not supposed to talk about the findings so much or we'll get MOD BIT so I don't know what more I can say.

BBM. Yes, and from the recent article, even his friend "expected" a text from Dylan.

Nava said he would have expected Dylan to text him Monday morning if he overslept or at least to say when he was headed down to Bayfield.

Yes that is an Iphone. And yes Dylan could have sent a message via FB that his friend could have received on that phone.

That is a screen cap of Ryan's phone and it is a smart phone as its a iPhone

I think scorekeeper was asking for what kind of phone the friend had as shown in the pic with the texts on his phone. That phone, belonging to Dylan's friend is an iPhone. So yes Dylan could have sent him a fb message from dads PC, if it had internet service, and the friend would have gotten it on his phone.

Dylan had asked his father whether he could go to his friends' that evening after they had shopped at Walmart and eaten at a McDonald's in Durango and before the 45-minute drive to Mark's home north of Vallecito Lake. Mark said he told his son it was too late. So Dylan texted friends in Bayfield, his father said, and made arrangements to meet them the next morning.

This appears to give us a bit into the timeline with the texts(although it is MSM so take it for what it is worth)
