Would like to know what time MR attorney appointment was, and if it was in Durango or somewhere else.

I believe it was in Durango but I have not seen an appointment time. There is the possibility he stopped by to make a payment....

checking travel times to each surrounding state, so far 1 hour 30 min from Durango,to AZ,UT,or 30 min to NM.

Gonna be really careful here in talking about the Find Dylan facebook page. It seems there are usually always people who post that they have some sort of important information they feel they need to pass onto the family. I don't understand if people have something they feel so compelled to pass on, why they do not contact LE instead of posting some weird, vague comment on social media.

Throwing out more stuff outta my brain for others....If(yes if)MR was to take him to another state, I would think it would be UT,or AZ, because the news of DR being a missing person would be less public in those states. I say that because Durango(and Bayfields)news is usually from the Farmington NM area. Also if it was a local person that snatched DR they might also think about this(maybe).JMO

Other than hoaxes, attention seeking?
I know the circumstances were completely different but Westminster PD did an outstanding job with their facebook page and internet communication with the public in Jessica's case.. They really had all bases covered there. The Redwine family friend is doing amazing with the FMDR page, running it all on her own I think, coordinating so many efforts.

Where is everyone? It's taken 3 hours to fill this one page. I remember when we could fill a page in 3 minutes.

Sorry. I would post more if I thought that I had something to say that would add to the thread.

I know. With nothing new coming out and everything we know having been dissected and redissected, we are stuck until LE enlightens us about anything new or interesting.

Hit a brick wall?
Hoping like heck LE has not done the same :(

No one has been cleared yet. Not Mom, soon to be step dad, brother, father. No one.

Most of those people you mentioned were no where in the area, so don't need to be cleared. Just like when Kyron went missing, Tony and Desiree were not in the area, and were not suspects in any way.

In an effort to keep dialogue going, I just did a quick check of recent articles -- and one stated "officials believe Dylan was abducted." They do? On the one hand I feel like the authorities don't have a clue -- on the other hand, I kinda think they do but just aren't saying anything.

Not pointing a finger specifically at MR -- but you know I've read about many cases in which there was a certain amount of incriminating evidence to indicate someone might be the probable suspect -- but not quite enough to make a case. Terribly frustrating. And in these cases, no one was ever charged. I used to think there was no such thing as the "perfect murder" but the truth is, there are a lot of people who get away with it. Ditto for missing persons cases -- like Kyron, etc. -- how do people pull it off --

But I digress -- we are left in the shadows if LE isn't willing to divulge whatever possible evidence they may have found in MR's home. I just can't figure out why I have this niggling doubt about MR being the cause of Dylan's disappearance. Very wierd, because he was the last person to see Dylan, and he has a sordid history to boot. Any other time I would be right there with the majority of WSers. I just feel like there's this puzzle piece we're missing in this and it's bothering me --a lot.

I , too, think many things point at MR, but also cannot get past the 'missing link'. Something is not right. For him to be all the things we ' assume' that he is, how in the heck did he pull off something so perfect without a shred of evidence anywhere? If he did that , he missed his calling and should not be driving trucks. He just seems a blue collar regular joe and not a mastermind.
I thought the very same thing in lisa irwin case. So many things about her mom seemed suspicious, but I do not think that woman could be a hidden mastermind and pull off a crime and not leave a giant trail.

You guys are super rock stars at cases with your memories, you just fire them right off. I have to search forever because I'm very poor with names. But I will mention this case and 10 of you will spout off her name ! So here goes...
Remember a woman, long ago , accused, TRIED and convicted of stabbing her son to death in his bedroom? They lived alone, just the two of them and she claimed someone broke into the house at night and stabbed her son for no reason? All physical evidence pointed to her, dna all over the scene and her hands, etc. She went to PRISON for it before they realized a ' wandering, random ' serial killer had killed her son. It was a SHOCKER.... but it seems when nothing else makes sense the unknown travelling perp is the guy !

This is a pretty old case, probably 15 or 20 years old, possibly more.

There was one article after the Saturday search where an official or investigator (unnamed) "said" (unquoted) that an abduction was "exactly what they think happened" to Dylan.

I sometimes make the mistake of taking what reporters and/or "officials" say or write seriously, but that never went anywhere. I believe that article was from a NM news organization that hadn't really covered Dylan's story and the article was riddled with mistakes, so that whole theory of what they thought happened "exactly" holds little weight, IMO.

I agree with your post all around. Outwardly it seems like it's getting quiet (more so than at the beginning) and I guess the weather is getting cold too. Really hope they're turning up the heat behind the scenes which is really all that matters. But it's frustrating to us and I can't imagine how his family is dealing.

It seems to become a real problem in some of the missing kids cases ex. Kyron & Baby Lisa, etc In the Lisa Irwin case, a cadaver dog hit on an area of the parents bedroom, but that case is at a standstill. It seems all you have to do is lawyer up & shut your mouth. I hope it doesn't come to the point with MR and I hope he took or asked for a 2nd poly & he is doing everything he can to clear himself so LE can move on. ETA ~ if the first one was inconclusive that is.
