If MR and Dylan began arguing & fighting in the car and that's why there was no activity on Dylan’s phone after 8 pm, can MR hide this information from LE?

If they were fighting and Dylan was upset, wouldn’t he want to remove himself from the situation as soon as possible?

If Dylan couldn’t escape from the car, he would want to escape after they arrived at the house, so he may have run away when it was dark outside and he had an accident because he couldn’t see. If his cell phone was broken, he wouldn’t be able to call anyone for help.

How can LE know Dylan didn’t run away if they don’t know why Dylan stopped communicating on his cell phone at 8 pm? If they believe Dylan was at his father’s house, perhaps they should bring the scent dogs back to Mark’s house and try again.

If they were arguing in the home or car, no one else could see and hear what was going on.

If Dylan wanted to run away, he could have pretended to be asleep Sunday night and he ran away with his backpack when his father went to bed or left the room to use the bathroom.

I would think Dylan would leave during the night, but if he couldn’t, he might have pretended to be asleep when his father tried to arouse him so he wouldn’t have to leave with his father, and he ate breakfast before he ran away.

But I tend to believe after they started fighting, Dylan would want to remove himself from the situation asap and take off during the night if he was able to, and since there was no blood evidence, it seems Dylan was still able to leave. If that's the case, Mark wouldn't know where his son was when he was asked that question during an interview or when he took the polygraph test.

I have wondered this too. They came out pretty early and said they didnt' think runaway . They must have some shred of evidence somewhere that points to ...... something not so happy as a runaway. That's all i can think. How can they rule it out when they don't know where he is ? By finding something that points to ONE of the other options , which is abuction/ :( , you know what the other one is .

I'm not seeing it. Then again, generally when someone says someone posted something interesting on a fb page, I can never find it. I must be facebook illiterate.

Open the page - right hand side - there's somewhat of a column - heading is: Recent Posts by Others on Find Missing Dylan Redwine and right across from that is SEE ALL - open that up and there all the recent messages/posts by others. It's under there - 3rd message I believe

It says basically that WS won't let ' just anyone' be a member . I don't know if that's true, but if shes' got something useful to say come on over and share it ! :P

And it's totally not true. I am the epitome of ' just anyone' !

Do we know if Dylan's bed was slept in? Was his scent in the bed, was the bed left unmade?

Does anyone know when they were in walmart? was that before or after the last text sent from dylan's phone at 8pm?

I see a likely scenario was that dad offered Dylan to drop him off at his friend's house super early on his way to errands. When super early came (6am-ish?), Dylan wasn't budging from bed (highly normal for a teen) and dad said fine, I'll be back in a few hours and you can go then. This played out at my house growing up all the time. If I had just gotten into town and the first thing I wanted to do was go see my friends my dad would have prolly also said no and I would have been pissed and written something dramatic in my diary about hating my parents and on and on. No matter how excited I was for anything, I rarely sprung up early to get a move on the day when I was that age.

As far as the dad's behavior so far, also totally normal. He absolutely should retain a lawyer - and if it didn't look so bad, he should have dialed the lawyer right after the police. I watch [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wXkI4t7nuc"]this video[/ame] once in a while just to set my brain straight and test my speed listening capabilities. ;)

I think this is true especially when it is a school holiday. Seems the mentality changes and they realize they can sleep in. No real reason to get up early. I know it affects me that way. jmo

But he told his friend he would bug him ALL DAY LONG if he didn't answer the door for him at 6:30. He seemed to be very excited about seeing his friend. Did he forget?

I was just reading on another site , which showed this youtube video ( it had absolutely nothing to do with dylan , on the other site) I clicked it out of curiosity and I think it has bearing in this case. Remember how many of us, MYSELF included, were kind of thinking about MR before the camera rolled in the interview, like how can he be smiling and chuckling, wth is he doing? Well this is a daddy from the sandy hook school :( :( , and appears to be doing the very same thing right before the camera rolls. Now I think no one can say this man is not truly grieving and NO one can say he might be involved, so this gives some credence to the idea that nervousness and not necessarily GUILT might make someone act that way. I'm sorry in advance if it's upsetting to some. It's upsetting to me. I just thought the parallel needed drawing here.

Dylan knew it was a school holiday when he made the plans and his friend was concerned he had not turned up after 10 mins so IMO , it says that Dylan was not normally unreliable .

This is all IMO
People working with LE or not is actually not the point. A guilty person may insert themselves into an ivestigation just to find out what LE knows and doesn't know.

I do find the following things odd:
1)MR does not go out in public or participate in any of the original searches. The search the first evening and then the second search with volunteers. He's staying at home out of the way so that the focus can be on Dylan.
How many of you would NOT help search for your child if you were physically able?

2) MR has changed the morning story 3 times, originally he tried to wake Dylan up but he was out like a light (Durango Herald)
Then he tried to wake Dylan up and he acted like he understood he would be back (not sure which article that was)
Then he tried to wake Dylan up and Dylan responded that "he understood"

3) It wasn't until a week later that MR mentioned a fishing pole, he said that LE was about a week behind and he told them from day one that a Dylan's fishing pole was likely missing. This was about the time that they were bringing in the cadaver dogs & divers.

4) After ER gave a telephone interview with NG, all of sudden his comment (which struck me as typical) he wasn't going to comment anymore because everyone wants to talk to ER and she has all the answers.
Doesn't that strike you as odd? Your child is missing and you are p-o'd that the other parent got/is getting more attention than you did?

It just seems that each time a new piece of the puzzle is given to us (the public) MR has an answer for it. I really am curious about the article in Durango Herald with the text messages, because those plans to see his buddy sound like the WERE "etched in stone"

IMO, the story from MR changes to fit what we learn.

I think her email was not excepted as I had that problem too... I just emailed them and they manually set me up. No biggie.

Can you please paraphrase what it says

She's just being very cryptic and claims to have some information that may help the case. She says she's contacted the authorities and the FBI, but she knows that they are busy, and may not be able to do anything quickly enough due to red tape, so she is reaching out to the person who runs the find dylan redwine fb page, to let them know the information she has. She lives in Washington.
