elaine talks about Christmas without her son

more than a month...no sign of dylan

investigation no new leads - believe foul play

last couple weeks difficult for ER

as for LE

kidnaping or worse

ER hard to prepare for worst case
but she has thought about the realities
still holding hope

has only been to his bedroom once - left as was - partial unmade bed - clothes unfolded

(((dylan))))

that's what i got - hard to not cry....

Okay, I finally got some time to go look at the picture of Dylan in the back of the car, on the floorboard. I sure don't understand why everyone thinks he is texting. To me, it looks as if he is asleep. I see nothing in his hands, like a phone or some other type electronic gadget. Looks asleep.

ETA: He also looks quite a bit younger there than now.

I can see it both ways. It looks to me like he could be holding a slide type phone sideways with his right thumb in "texting position" but the shade created by the passenger seat makes it impossible to be certain what is in his hand, if anything at all.

Wonder if there were any fresh cut trees in that area by MR home?

I hope they replay ER's interview tomorrow or another day. I don't think many people are watching the local late-night news on Christmas.

You're such an angel. I realize what a hardship this will be and greatly sympathize with you but have no doubt that we all appreciate your sacrifice. If you need to talk later, like describe the segment minute by minute in excruciating detail please know that you can PM me for my number and I will let you get it off your chest. There is no reason for you to suffer alone. It would be helpful if you recorded it and sent it to me though so I could better understand your pain.

I know you probably won't believe me but I didn't watch. I was listening and typing so that I could post immediate to the thread....Sometimes, it's good just to hear the voice...

Will watch the video later....

I listened to it too online. They said police believe kidnapping or foul play.

That is such a strange distinction to me. Isn't kidnapping foul play? Unless they are trying to imply that MR is a suspect and wouldn't be guilty of kidnapping in the traditional sense...

Thank you.....I thought I heard kidnapping but wasn't sure where. Heard the foul play.

did you hear the "or worse"?

I am so glad you listened also - just like on the scanner thread - the more listening the better!!

Well, I suppose you get the bonus points for not drooling then but have you lost your mind?

I rarely "watch" tv. I prefer just listening with the exception of Criminal Minds. I'm glued to the screen when it is on.

It's not a strange distinction to me. Kidnapping or abduction doesn't necessarily end in murder. When they say foul play, they mean murder to my understanding.

I know it's like if MR had anything to do with Dylan's disappearance it's foul play.....if someone else, it's kidnapping.....

I guess LE is playing things really, really close to the vest....

I am so afraid they have nothing more than we do....

You know those ankle monitors, the PO can't make it to where you can't provide for yourself work, there for giving this BB dude the ability to go to work(cutting wood)...they can limit things, but usually won't when it comes to work. Now if you can give reason why a wood cutter wouldn't be near the woods, I guess you could call this a no go. I think it is a really something for LE to look at. Then he goes all crazy and kills himself, cuz he thinks he is going to get caught.

Lost my mind when the kids started driving!!

I don't recall saying the "not drooling" part....:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Gosh, I really wanted Dylan to be home for Christmas....

just wondering...I remember the gallon milk jugs covering the mailboxes at Mark's home...so I thought they were to keep deer off them (rubbing them). Someone commented that they did this sometimes when roadwork/paving things like that being done. Wonder if anyone has checked into this kind of work being done around Monday morning?

Gosh, I really wanted Dylan to be home for Christmas....

My oldest is 17 and has zero interest in getting his license. He prefers to just date girls that are over 18 and willing to drive him around. Putting up with his girlfriends is a small price to pay for my sanity.

I really wanted Dylan home for Christmas too. I'm sure it was a very somber day in more than one home because of Dylan's absence. I really feel for his siblings with children of their own. They were stuck in the very difficult position of creating happy memories for their kids while knowing that Dylan wasn't being allowed the same opportunity. AzGrandma please let your boys knows that they are in our thoughts tonight too.

You could possibly call the tip line with the information. Hopefully, when LE said all RSOs in the area were accounted for they included this guy...but you never know.

TIA
