Does anyone know the history of visitation before this 'court ordered visitation'. ER had not been moved away that long. What were the arrangements when they lived close to each other? And didn't Dylan visit his dad just two months before? And has anyone seen the docs for the 'court ordered visitation'? I think this was just an arrangement that was made after ER moved 6 hours away and added to the divorce decree. I am sure visitation changed when she moved. That is pretty standard procedures. Why was this visit so different? jmo

I don't think those docs are available, but I'd like to know the visitation before this too. Was MR excersizing his right regularly when Dylan was still in Bayfield before he and ER moved to CS? I believe ER and Dylan relocated on July 1st of this year. MR spoke of the big elaborate dream road-trip vacation he took Dylan on in August -- Boston and NY to Fenway Park and Cooperstown and then the court-ordered visit in September.

In the video that talked about domestic violence in the family, the reporter made mention of sealed court docs that contained statements from Dylan. I'm not sure if it's typical to keep those kind of records sealed or if they're sealed due to the nature of this case/investigation, though I'm inclined to believe the former.

I'm watching football....so if I have to I can go look for a link...

I believe it was said that during the last three years (before ER moved in July) MR did not see Dylan much (don't know if it was due to work or what). I can look for article if you want me too....

I do not believe he was a genius and have never stated that at all.

I do not know what happened that night but i do believe he " may" of done it .

Just to many things do not add up IMO

And i think he got lucky because LE screwed up (MOO) and he had a insane amount of clean up time (IMO) ... How many people who commit crimes gets a 10 hour clean up window ????

MOO

With today's forensic capabilities, no matter if people had days to clean up, something is always missed. Have no trace whatsoever doesn't happen. Everyone leaves some sort of footprint, so to speak, be it hair, fingerprints, saliva, video, scent, blood, something.

I am not as trusting of LE as I once was. I have been following crime, FWIW, for years, and in my opinion, success seems to be greater when they engage with the public. People may not always pay attention to little articles updating known info, but perhaps more so to specially scheduled press conferences. They have the power to claim the attention of the public whenever they choose. Many say they must not help. Indeed, is it acceptable for Dylan not to be located, if deceased?

As far as I can tell, they are no closer to finding him, alive or otherwise. I hope their silence is not the silence of some LE agencies sticking to the practices of the past. I hope to be proven wrong about my doubts as to the handling of this case.

I just don't get it. And now I will cease harping on my discontent, lol.

I agree with you.

Even when there is no crime scene ?

Even when there is no crime scene ?

There was barely any physical evidence against Scott Peterson in his house. They found hair in the pliers in his boat. That about amounted to the physical evidence in that case. So, even when there is a crime scene, there isn't always evidence.

Really? Then why do so many crimes go unsolved?

I think they were driving, as i see it the crime scene is along one of those roads.
I dont think whatever happend happend in the truck.
Id bet my last dollar MR bought a fishing pole at walmart that night.

I do think Dad wanted a relationship with his son!
I dont think he knew how to do it.
And I dont think he knows how to controll himself.

I think most that go unsolved ARE unsolved because a loved one is responsible.
It harder to prove.

Strangers leave evidence fingerprints strange hairs foot prints etc when its someone they live with or are related to its way harder to prove.

dont you think if MR took and passed a poly we would have heard he did by his own mouth!

Assuming MR did something to Dylan at home, what exactly would fingerprints, saliva, hair, blood, scent prove? Both of them would be expected to have left their fingerprints, hair and scent there. Blood could have an innocent explanation if not in huge amounts. Finding fingerprints would be significant if it was a stranger, intruder who was not known to have any legitimate business in the house, otherwise not so much.

If Dylan's remains were found and MR left fingerprints at the discovery site that would tie him into the crime but the owner's prints found at his home and car mean nothing. JMO

I do not think Mark physically abused him. I think the fear this family has is how Mark gets when he drinks. I think this was why his brother said we are only a phone call away. There have obviously been issues with drunkeness in the past and ya know it sure take a while and alot of drinking to get to that point. Id be very afraid to leave my child if thats the case.

All JMO
I think the main problem is between ER and MR.

We know of one time he got drunk. One. That's it. That does not establish a drinking problem or anger every time he drinks. How many DUI's has he had??? How many disorderly conduct visits to his house have their been?? How many times has he been to rehab or AA meetings?? How many times was he passed out on the front lawn?? Where are all his drinking consequences because if he was a drunk, he'd have several.

He got drunk at a 4 of July party. How do we know Elaine wasn't drunk as well?? We don't do we. Just what she said, that's all.

I know a lot of people who have gotten drunk that aren't alcoholics and don't have a drinking problem.

It is NOT a fact that Mark is a drunk or has a drinking problem.

Thanks for the link in the next post. Hope you didn't interrupt watching a good game!

That's right MR has been away from home for work at some point in recent time (months? years?). Wonder how frequent and regular his visits were with Dylan during that time before ER moved.

On the facebook page somebody has tried to work with the Walmart photo to make it slightly clearer and the one thing that is still clear is Dylan does not look happy in the photo .

I would post a link but i am not sure if i am allowed .

If a crime is commited, there is a crime scenes somewhere.

I know but there is not one in this case so far . So how do we know what was left behind until they find one?

* slightly confused *

For me, Dad's story about Monday is believable and I would assume it was all true, if not for the phone usage ceasing the night before rather abruptly. I still do not believe that Dylan would have lost use of his phone without his father being made aware of it.

And iif his phone was working, I don't buy that Dylan would not have contacted his friend again after the last text we saw.
