Mods don't always allow Peter's blog to be posted so here's the MSM link to the referenced article, just in case. :)

BBM: I think Elaine lost her chance to meet with Mark,, had she not outright accused him from the hop.. She may have gotten somewhere with him.. IMO..

I feel Elaine has nothing what-so-ever to say to him. I do not feel her meeting with him would get her anywhere she knows this. If she thought it would do any good i think she would have way back when!

All jmo

Trying to think if in recent years,, if any children missing into a second month like this have been found? And if so, are they more likely to be eventually found if a victim of a stranger or a family member. Seems to me they are usually found fairly quickly or not at all.

Not counting the few who have been found alive, I mean.

Everybody asks about the pings on Dylans phone. What about MR's phone. Did it ever ping and when and where or did it shut off too?

MR has to have some kind of pattern that LE could check re turning his cell phone on and off.

And I am trying to think if any child missing into the second month has ever NOT had a press conference?

LE has completely shut down on Dylan.

Many cases are solved when they keep going back and looking at everything again and again, because they may have missed something the first time. That is because in the beginning of cases like this, information seems to come in rapidly and they really don't have time to go over everything... their interview notes and tapes, all the tips and leads, etc., very thoroughly. Now things have slowed down a bit so they have more time to check things out and pick up on some details that may have been overlooked before.

Absolutely. I know that when tips initially come in, they are "prioritized".

I guess it would just be too much to hope for, reasoning with someone who is most likely completely unreasonable. What we need is a miracle.

That always reminds me of a quote, you can't talk sense to an idiot. Sometimes you are just beating your head against a wall.

I so agree. Especially, if as we have been told, they are resorting to going back through all the old tips now. To me, that means they do not have a suspect and are not close to an arrest, nor, obviously, to finding Dylan. Excuses for not having a PC diminish by the day, IMO.

Apparently he did, according to the police report. And that was years ago when he was just a little boy. :(

I find this interesting as for me it means that if there is a disagreement or argument that Dylan would not simply back down and that could wind the person up even more and make them lash out .

I don't think it necessarily means that they don't have a prime suspect. But it does probably mean that they don't have enough evidence yet to arrest anyone.

Maybe they are going through the tips to try and find the evidence to make an arrest. JMO

Dylan is a very small 12 yr old. If his Dad took a swing at him, like he once did with CR, then it could have ended very badly. JMO

I also wonder about this as well . Coz could you not track MR's movement via the phone pings on the Sunday night ??

One detail that MR gave us, has always stuck out like a sore thumb. The story about them throwing the Nerf football when they got home seems oddly out of place, imo. Because we have been told that D went right to sleep because he was so tired. And he never plugged in his dead cell and contacted anyone before he fell asleep or got on the computer that evening. So why all the energy to play football that night?

I have wondered if maybe MR wanted to cover himself in case someone heard or saw he and his son outside the home that night. The reason I wonder that is because it is possible that MR began drinking that night, while D was watching tv on the couch. And maybe they began to argue about something---like maybe MR had taken the cell earlier-- or something like that. So D asks for his phone back and things go sideways.

When my kids used to get mad at us, the first thing they would threaten was to run off somewhere. So what if D was mad and decided to try and walk or ride the bike to his friend's house in Vallecito? Maybe they both tussled outside somewhere?

I think sometimes people might actually be more likely to admit things to acquaintances or strangers, rather than family members...Less tension at the setting would lead to less defensiveness and perhaps more openness on the part of the confessor.

Thank you, I could not think of any, in the cases here where the child as missing more than a week or so, like Jessica.

I do not think Dylan made it back to the house that night . The only reason I think this is due to no phone activity by Dylan after about 8pm .

I am only 26 years of age and I know no teenagers that would sit in a car for 30/40 mins and not get there phone out and start texting friends . I also did the same when I was teenager and so did my friends .

If we had any free time then the mobile phone came out and we got texting .

This is just my experience from the people I know .

bbm - a team of citizens with metal detectors need to go walk the roads and find his phone. i bet that will be the first clue.
