Well and if you get into a super tight knit community that hates outsiders, guess what they also hate? THE LAW !!!! I wonder if they are the type that would say nope we didn't see anything, even if they had , to protect one of their neighbors. yuk :(

Hmm!, Now that sounds familiar. lol

Especially if they be banjo playin Deliverance type like someone mentioned previously! LOL

Its the sort of people you don't really want to be around. Not a pretty place.'

Maybe they have really bad body odor.

EDIT: or they are Yankees fans.

(or both)

Are you implying that LE is mistakenly on the wrong track?

What I'm implying is that the track they are on obviously hasn't produced much, so perhaps it's time to explore other tracks.

It looks like these searches were all within the first week or so.

What I found most interesting is that in the one very large, organized search, they focussed on the area that MR drove after he left Walmart and returned home. JMO

...or focused on the area MR *said* he drove...when he could have actually been on a completely different road that night.

Or maybe just no class like we Texans. lol

Does anyone know off the top of their head (without reading all the links Ransom provided) if any bloodhounds/dogs searched the area from Walmart back to Dad's place? Not sure if that would even be possible.... just wondering if that could still be done or if that would not be realistic?

I think they have been exploring multiple tracks all along. They investigated all of the surrounding RSO's, they interviewed various locals. They say they are following up on ALL of the tips and leads phoned in. They watched all of the videos from local cams and businesses. What else can they do?

WOW That's curious. I wonder why .

My guess is thats it's because they took the information off the original missing poster.

1) Find Dylan
2) Send him home

LOL

If there had been any reports of witnesses seeing Dylan hitching on the highway, or hiking towards the lake with his pole, we would have heard about them, imo.

If there were any reports of strangers skulking about, or trying to grab any kids, we would have been told, imo.

I just don't believe that Dylan could have gone out that morning and tried to make his way to B-town without being noticed by some locals. jmo

Yep, LE was sent pretty much on a "wild goose chase" the first week or so.

So how does one go about searching for a kidnapper? I mean this seriously... if it's not a local RSO with an alibi already checked out, how can one "assist" in a meaningful way to explore that possibility? How do you start? Where do you start? Has anyone researched folks that have recently been let out of jail? Just trying to think of something else we can do...

Just watched a video on John Douglas, he's an FBI profiler. I now have a new favorite term "charismatic chameleon" his term for a person that is charming at first and then turns violent quickly.

I researched pretty much all of the other residents on CR 500 & couldn't find anything other than some traffic court charges in AZ on 1 or 2 of them. That neighborhood/road seems to be "squeaky clean" IMO.

I wonder if MR and ER are the only ones who took polygraphs.

maybe start with the dads acquaintances? could it be that one of them thinks MR has been 'hard done by' when it comes to the divorce and custody?

please note that this is not an accusation it is only a suggestion as somewhere to start.

I would think they would have given one to ER's fiance as well, unless he had an airtight alibi for those 2 days. JMO

His books are very interesting. I'm currently reading two that I got at the HalfPrice bookstore the other day. I had just started reading one of them and he goes into detail and described some of the signs to look for with a POI, etc. and that was "weight loss." I just had a "moment" when I read that.

AZGrandma, the FBI is involved, right? Can someone come out and ask LE if they have a profiler involved? If it's a RSO, then at least let us know what the "profile" is.... that would help! We have enough investigative minds here. And if they don't have access to a profiler, would they call in a consult with one? And what's up with Texas Equusearch.... is it time to propose that scenario since nothing much seems to be happening?
