I still don't understand why the nixed Equusearch coming in. :waitasec:

His books are very interesting. I'm currently reading two that I got at the HalfPrice bookstore the other day. I had just started reading one of them and he goes into detail and described some of the signs to look for with a POI, etc. and that was "weight loss." I just had a "moment" when I read that.

I haven't seen any recent pictures of ER but that is something I have thought about. Eating would be the last thing on my mind if my son was missing. jmo

AZGrandma, the FBI is involved, right? Can someone come out and ask LE if they have a profiler involved? If it's a RSO, then at least let us know what the "profile" is.... that would help! We have enough investigative minds here. And if they don't have access to a profiler, would they call in a consult with one? And what's up with Texas Equusearch.... is it time to propose that scenario since nothing much seems to be happening?

when I listened to Tricia/Websleuths interview with Mark Klaas discussing this case, Klaas mentioned that in order for his agency to get involved, an immediate family member generally has to specifically request that. I was curious why that hasn't been done too.

This might sound rediculous to some but...what about cult activity in the area? Just thinking out loud, MOO.

I wonder if MR and ER are the only ones who took polygraphs.

Good question! But my guess is we're gonna' be the last ones to know...

I believe the last article said that the FBI, CBI and Sheriff were all still involved.
I know that at one time in the beginning (according to FMDR FB page) Equusearch was mentioned and the admin said that LE requested they hold off.

I know from here in AZ Equasearch was called in on a missing college kid, sadly they found his body in the very same lake that had previously been searched with no luck. There had been some heavy rains and it stirred the water up and the body surfaced.

Do you know if LE has regular updates or is in frequent contact with ER or MR about progress/next steps?

So how does one go about searching for a kidnapper? I mean this seriously... if it's not a local RSO with an alibi already checked out, how can one "assist" in a meaningful way to explore that possibility? How do you start? Where do you start? Has anyone researched folks that have recently been let out of jail? Just trying to think of something else we can do...

The only MSM I have seen said they all had alibis- not that they were all cleared. So technically, none of them are cleared either...:banghead: That group was only local RSO's; minus the 3 who failed to register

Thread 16 discusses the one closest to the interesection, etc...

And my niggling fear is some &*%$! decided to mimic sigg

Well, that and it looks like it was dyed.

Glad she's smiling at least.

EDIT: and it looks like she lost weight. What was that John Douglas said again?

The smile looks forced for the picture, IMO, and she looks sad...

The person who commented under the picture said they were not sure what the point was supposed to be...

I've said it before, but I really admire the women who are administering the FMDR page on behalf of Dylan's family, and keeping such a tight rein on what stays on their page. they have a goal in mind and they are sticking to it - bless them for all the time it must take them on top of their other efforts, as well as getting on with their own lives as well. There are enough sites you can visit to discuss theories and suspicions. At least they know Dylan and all his immediate family personally, and it's commendable that they aren't letting their page turn into something ugly. JMO but I'd actually be darn ticked off to the point of seeking legal advice if someone set up a page using my name or that of a family member without consent. Not that I know if that's the case with any other fb pages, just having a wild guess.

take into consideration the lighting differences

her smile looks forced

and yes she looks like she has lost a little weight which would be natural.

whereas the comment about MR's weight was

He said Dylan's dejected-appearing father Mark Redwine occasionally comes in to buy cigarettes.

"He's lost a lot of weight," Schank said.
