I lost my thanks button!? Why?

Well since you can still post we can rule out ban, t/o and closed thread. So that leaves you with needing to refresh, my dear.

I still live in the teeny tiny town I was born & raised in and can get lost on Main Street. I'm directionally challenged. Ok, I'm hopeless (my husband spends half his time saying "your other right, Rhon"). MapQuest is evil. Just plain evil!
I have an agent who is very directionally challenged and use her GPS everywhere (I mean everywhere) she drives. Dont get me wrong I love gps, but It drives me nuts when I ride with her. I'm like Millie we are going to McDonalds we have been there a hundred times. Its less than a mile from the office, a straight shot and if you don't know how to get there I promise I can help you out. Lol

I have to admit that I do it too. I use Verizon's turn by turn directions for everything. My oldest hates riding with me because music is a no go when I MUST be able to hear my darn phone talk to me. I honestly have no sense of direction.

ETA: I once drove from VA to FL (with a 9yo child & car sick dog) in a single weekend. I did not intend to. I only wanted to go to DC.

I had a good friend who did not know her right & left at all...and whenever I rode with her when she was driving, if I had to give her directions, I'd have to say "take a wedding ring" at the next light...and that's the only way she would understand left...LOL

Well my 4 yr old is up so I need to get off WS and help her fall back to sleep. Dylans case has captured my heart and though I know its unlikely, I so long to see 'found safe' by his name when I log on tomorrow. Goodnight all.

I'm really having trouble with WS tonight!

That is the way I am. I'm ambidextrous so I can't even do the "hand you write with is right" thing. I'm just hopeless. When I switched phones today the first apps I reinstalled were a map app & a flashlight w/compass app.

I feel out of place, I have a very good sense of direction. I live in a city of about 4 million people and can navigate every which way using freeways, highways, main roads and local roads.

goodnight ladies...

I'm hoping an overwhelming sense of guilt falls upon the person who is responsible for Dylan's disappearance and that they do the right thing, take responsibility and bring closure to his loved ones...

From your lips (fingers) to whatever deity's ears. As a mother, I'm so done with seeing Elaine suffer. I want a picture of her hugging her baby after he is found safely on the front page of every newspaper tomorrow.

I've never seen anything to suggest that he didn't want him to see his friends; in fact, he said that he knew it was important to him.

The 3rd person is Katt's daughter.

They aren't the same person, but they are both friends of ER

I'd guess that the main reason he mentioned it was the fact that it was gone. He never even said that DR took it with him. He said it was likely that he had it since it was gone. I'm sure he would have said the same thing about the bike if that had been missing.

If I were in MR's place, I would have expected (and wanted) LE to do a thorough search of my home just to make sure there wasn't evidence of someone being there who shouldn't be. I'd also expect them to at least do a cursory check of nearby water if there was a chance he had taken a fishing pole with him. MOO

Obviously dad didnt want Dylan seeing his friends that evening! So It was IMPORTANT to Dylan not to dad! JMO

If my son went missing I would not notice a fishing pole being gone unless I had just purchased it. First off they are in the garage and second its not something id notice! Oh wait let me go count my fishing poles

Dad has placed that fishing pole with Dylan for a reason! Either as a reason he left or we will find it with his son when he is found!.

OT - I changed my avatar but it was the only one I could find on my puter that fit. So bear with me until I navigate my way around and find a better pic. LOL I was sick of looking at C. Anthony.

TxJan you avatar made me spit my coffee all over my key board! Thanks for the laugh!

I am still not sure if the fishing pole is not a red herring. Send LE in the completely wrong direction toward the lake x

MR cannot have it BOTH ways with the cell service story. Either there was texting or there wasn't/

If there wasn't, then why did he sit and wait for Dylan to reply to his texts from 11:30 until 4 pm?

He was busy!

Well, MR said he was texting Dylan all afternoon on Monday...

Does anyone know if MR called or text Dylan in the morning on Monday while he ran his errands?

Have not read anything to confirm he did.

I would of thought that Dylan's dad would of called him on his way home to make sure Dylan was awake and ready to go , no ?

Just from personal experience if you left me in bed there was no guarantee I would be awake and ready to go when my mum got home to fetch me .
