I remember reading that ER and CR did in MSM. Only on here do I remember seeing that anyone else was with them. Of course, that doesn't mean a lot - my memory sucks.

I know, it's been awhile. What I remember is the ER and CR drove out to Vallecito from Colorado Springs and then MH drove out later with the scent items that the dogs needed because they couldn't find anything at MR's that was good for a scent. This is why I think MH was back in CS at the time. Because I also don't remember reading where ER went all the way back to CS to get scent items for the dogs. IIRC

If sleuthing of MH is ok'd by WS, I'd sure like to know that. Because to me that should be off limits, he should be off limits! MOO

I don't see anyone accusing him of anything. I think we are all agreeing that he was quickly cleared by LE.

I think he is. The only one we have permission to have a field day on is MR and only MR and nobody but MR. Them's the rules.

Good. I'm glad there isn't open season on anyone and everyone. :)

The theory that an acquaintance lucks into the opportunity of finding Dylan alone at the house does niggle at me. Dylan is very cute, very small, and would likely attract the attention of a perv. That does worry me.

But why were all of his things gone? The perv would have had to get Dylan to willingly come along with him. I am not sure how easy that would have been. But I guess if he had a weapon it would work.

I could see grabbing all of his things if the person planned to keep him alive, or at least for a while.

NANCY GRACE TRANSCRIPT
"GRACE: Everyone, taking your calls is Dylan`s mother. Now, Ms. Redwine, was -- did there come a time when you learned that Dylan was missing? How did that happen?

REDWINE: Well, his dad texted me at around, oh, 4:30. Maybe it was closer to 5:00 on Monday. And I texted him back. You know, it was like, Well, we should call the sheriff. So I went ahead and I actually called the sheriff that day. I don’t know if Mark had called the sheriff that day, either, but I called the sheriff right after I got the text from Mark. I went to my house, picked up a bag, grabbed my oldest son, Corey (ph), and we came to Durango."

OK, I'd just like to get this clarified by a mod.

You could alert on a post and ask. That is usually the quickest way to get a response since they can't be everywhere.

If not a poly, I would think they would have verified his whereabouts that day.

I wonder if MR has a girlfreind that DR would know and feel comfortable with. I think someone a few threads ago mentioned he may have been seeing someone in New mexico. Or maybe an ex-girlfreind who is not happy with him?

that was me that mentioned the possibility of a girlfriend in new mexico, according to rumour only.

although another comment that caught my eye made mention that someones mother was not his girlfriend but his best friend, whether or not thats related to the rumour I saw I don't know.

I think I'll just focus on this bike. If you take the report on FB about scent at corner; there is an RSO who lives within a 1/2 mile of there- as well as one on CR530. Can someone with spatial ability tell me how far this corner and the picnic area are from Mark's home?
IIRC, the lake is @4 miles-

Nope. I can bring over posts from that thread over 1 month into the discussion if you wish?

What do you mean? Are you saying LE didnt clear her parents quickly?

Calif. police find missing teen Sierra Lamar's purse

(CBS/AP) MORGAN HILL, Calif. - Authorities searching for a missing Northern California teenager say they found her bag with clothing inside near an intersection two miles from her home.

Police discovered 15-year-old Sierra Lamar's belongings on Sunday, a day after investigators found her cellphone on the side of the road. Santa Clara County Sheriff's Sgt. Jose Cardoza says police didn't release the information until Thursday because they had to confirm the bag belonged to the teen.

CBS San Francisco reports the bag contained a neatly folded pair of pants and a t-shirt, the sheriff's office said Thursday. Cardoza says the evidence provided no clues about whether Sierra was abducted or ran away.

Her cellphone, found intact in a field near the house on Monday, has not yielded any clues to her whereabouts. It has since been submitted to the Santa Clara County Crime Lab for further testing.

An FBI spokesman confirmed Monday that federal agents were also helping with the investigation.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Team was ordered to visit all registered sex offenders in the area. The girl's father, Steve Lamar, is a registered sex offender who lives in Fremont. Investigators said they do not consider him a suspect in Sierra's disappearance.

Sierra was last seen heading out of her Morgan Hill home to get to school last Friday morning. Her family and friends held candlelight vigils for her this week.

There has been no evidence of foul play uncovered in the investigation thus far.

Do you think that Dylan may have rode the bike to the corner where he met someone and was offered a ride? Maybe he took the bike back home and jumped in a car with them? Would the bike seat have held Dylan's scent fairly well if he rode it that day?

Edited to correct autocorrect fail.

They did eventually (I wouldn't say quickly), but it didn't stop the speculation and the posts about Rick and Marlene. It went on forever until AGT was arrested. Mods had their hands full.

If that bike had been sitting outside in the Colorado elements for very long at all, it would not be rideable. IMO

Maybe he took it from the garage and used it and returned it, but then his dad would have noticed that instantly. All I know is that a bike that is left outside in the cold and heat extremes will go flat and rust and be inoperable, pretty quickly. We learned that hard way.

Most are leather and I assume that would hold a scent. I was only asking because you said you were focusing on the bike and had questions about 2 RSO's. I thought maybe you were zeroing in on a scenario that involved the two (bike & RSO).

ETA: Darn it, you & Katy both managed to quote that post before I was able to correct the "roadie" autocorrect fail.

Honestly, if he was grabbed from the house, I would think there would be signs of a struggle. Dylan is almost 14, not 5. Same for being as gullible as a younger child might be. If someone came saying that something had happened to his dad, for instance, someone would have called him, most likely, unless we are now saying all the phones were broken. I just don't know why Dylan would leave with anyone when he had a ride, assuming he was there at those when his father left.

Even if someone did come and offer him a ride, are we still saying his phone is useless so he can't call R to make sure he is still waiting for him?

Dylan sitting there, eating cereal, all alone, bummed out because his phone does not work, and presto, here comes someone offering him a ride. Too much for me.

I only see two possibilities here; he was not there or okay in order to go with his father, or he left to hitch a ride. But I do not believe he would leave without leaving a note, unless he and his father were not on speaking terms.

JMO , obviously.
