She said MOO.

My opinion only.:)

Thanks Ocean, I saw that after I put the post, then I made an edit. I'm just trying to figure out where that opinion came from because perhaps there is something we have missed and can be redirected to it.
Thank you! Especially for pointing out my blunder

Since everything seems to be about Elaine and what Elaine said has she refuted that Dylan went with Mark to Fenway Park on a great vacation?

imo

I doubt it's ER's priority to confirm or refute MR's public comments about vacations he took with Dylan.

I do think what ER says is valuable and should be given significant weight, and as always I'd like to hear from MR about the certain issues which have been asked here and we haven't heard addressed yet.

I don't think "everything seems to be about Elaine and what Elaine says" but that does remind me of what MR said on 12/3 from the DH

When contacted Monday, Mark Redwine declined to be interviewed, saying, “At this point, I think I’ve said as much as I need to say.”

He added: “The community’s been great. My problem is my ex-wife. She seems to have all the answers, and she seems to be the one everybody wants to listen to.”

Thank you. I didnt think so.

I think it shows we are running out of things to talk about in this case.:)

IMO

I agree with you and it is getting very old. The constant repeats of the constant bashing of the same thing over and over. I know that there is no new information to consider or discuss but it seems we are pulling things out of our posterior and they are ridiculous and some are really out there. jmo

I believe you are correct.

And Welcome to WS! :welcome6: :thewave:

One thing that always bothered me was MR's statement that he and Dylan "might" visit MR's brother at Thanksgiving. MR's brother lives within throwing distance of Elaine, near Colorado Springs, 6 hours east from MR's house. So was it a one-way ticket and MR was planning on dropping off Dylan at Elaine's house? You don't say you will visit your bro at TDay and then drive back west 6 hours to Durango to have Dylan fly out back east to Colorado Springs!

Also -I want to know if any restaurants were open on TDay in Durango. What are those restaurant names and did MR have a reservation. I do not have a problem with MR not making a turkey, as Monday night, when MR picked up Dylan and went to Walmart, is too late to thaw a Walmart turkey. No single father (or mother) makes a whole turkey for a visiting child. Steaks, yes. Turkey, no. WHAT DID MR BUY AT WALMART AND WHAT WAS IN HIS FRIDGE?

I also want to know if MR had any guns. And if the La Plata County sheriff's office tested his hands for gun residue.

I've lived in Colorado since 1974 and have NEVER seen LE as tight-lipped as this except for Karen Campbell, nurse and victim of Ted Bundy, at the Wildwood Inn, Snowmass.

I guess in his opinion, yes, apparently his problem IS his ex-wife. Yes, people take what ER says to be truthful as she seems to have a solid, loving relationship with her son. And no, I'd say people have questions for him and would love to listen to what he has to say about the events of that night other I told him he couldn't go to his friends house, we tossed around the Nerf ball, Fast forward 12 hours.

JMO.

To back up an opinion? I don't think they care what I think enough to publish any of my thoughts. MOO

ETA: I don't believe a judge would tell a parent if a child said bad things about him/her. It could very well put the child in danger in many cases. I can't say for sure, because my boys never had to say anything to a judge about either of their parents, which is why it was said as my opinion. Nothing sinister, I hope that clarifies it for you. :twocents:

Well I totally disagree. MR has engaged an attorney for at least 7 years. Even though the documents are sealed they are not sealed to the attorneys. MR knows what MR wants to know. His attorney would tell him anything he wanted to know.

Some of our attorneys might like to comment on this one.

With that said I have thought Dylan was in danger for speaking his truth to the judge and that being turned over to MR.

MOO

(BOLDED BY ME)

He was right? Insofar as...what? I'm not being snarky - I genuinely wonder which part of his statement is accurate. I'm going to take it piece by piece. JMO below.

My problem is my ex-wife: I think that's inaccurate.
She seems to have all the answers: I can't imagine why she would have all the answers - Dylan was in his custody when this occurred.
She seems to be the one everybody wants to listen to: Perhaps this is what you think was 'right' about his statement? If so, I could see why you would think that - but, respectfully - she didn't have Dylan in her home when she went missing. She is necessarily more sympathetic insofar as there's no appearance of impropriety...Dylan was far from her when he went missing.

I don't disagree that MR is getting rough treatment in the media/online in general. Whether or not that is justified remains to be seen - but, I can't imagine why Elaine would be considered the bad guy in any fashion (and I am not suggesting you were doing so, just jumping off here.)

WHAT DID MR BUY AT WALMART AND WHAT WAS IN HIS FRIDGE?

Having known a few single fathers in my lifetime: half-empty bottle of ketchup, some frozen dinners, onion dip that should have been thrown out last year, and (of course) beer.

On a more serious note: last year I spent Christmas with my SO. We didn't decide what we were going to eat until Christmas Eve. I went to the store on Christmas Day to pick up supplies. If you aren't cooking for a group, you have a lot more flexibility.

What did Dylan say to the judge? I haven't heard what he said, just wondering if it has come out.

Hey Confusion I forgot to put MOO last night and saw you commented to correct me. Sorry it was late and it was simply an oversight on my part. I'm going to add it to my signature line the next time I logon from my laptop or desktop.
MOO JMO and all that jazz..

I very heartily doubt LE tested for gun residue since they did not perceive a crime had taken place initially. Don't know how long after the fact it shows up. Do know that in Colorado it is illegal to ask gun owners to register their guns. How fricking wild west is that? I sleuthed that right away and came up empty since it is more of a crime to ask about owning a gun than to own one. Sorry for the rant but wow! I'm on the fence. I'd predict he doesn't own them b/c he seems like the kind of volatile personality that might have used one already.

Well actually there is something new to discuss. I am not sure of the rules but there is some news over on the Dylan Redwine News Facebook page.

Of course it's a rumor but sometimes rumors have legs!

I'm sure there's nothing he'd like better than to supply more mud for people to sling at him. I'm not going to discuss ER because it's not allowed. I believe you pretty much proved my point with your last statement there. MOO JMO IMO IMHO IMNSHO ETC.

Been there, done that! I really was wondering about links though, because I'm too lazy and blind to look them up myself. :blushing:

Can you link the page and point us in the right direction?

I'm trying to remember, this was after her appearance on NG. What did she say again about MR and the polygraph? :waitasec:

Lol what the heck is IMNSHO? TIA
I read it as I'm no show. Lol

I agree. I don't see much wrong with the food /TDay shopping situation on its own. Tradition doesn't mean much. ER seems to have lots of friends and family and clearly her Turkey Day was going to be very festive but if MR is a private, single guy there's no crime in that. Personally to me it sounds like Colorado Springs was a better time for the holiday but if that's the worst case scenario, no harm there.

My friend (who can't cook to save his life) had his son on Thanksgiving a few years ago and they had a KFC feast he hit the day before. It was lame on one hand but there was alot of sentiment even though the food was rubber.

Paraphrasing here. Two locals chiming in to say LE word around town is that MR failed failed failed the poly.
