Well why have they never been able to track his route via the pings that night then ?

Where does it say that they haven't?

i think it was switched off as otherwise they could at least pin point him at home that night as it would bounce of cell towers.

If they verify me, I'll explain it. If not, just go back and read what we've already posted about it. I know he's left a link or two.

That's a good point. They could have tracked the phone by the text usage, and that may have brought them all the way home. MOO

That was an assumption because of Dylan's lack of activity after 8pm. The police have never stated that his phone was off after that time.

But if he got up that morning and read those texts, why wouldn't he answer them? His friend had texted early saying ' where are you?' and then again to say " come to Nardo's"...

If Dylan was going to hitch a ride to town, why not give a quick reply first. " Sorry, missed my ride, on my way now"

Or even better, " can anyone pick me up?"

Right. All we know is that Dylan's last message went out around 8pm on Sunday. We do not know when or where the cell phone stopped communicating with cell towers.

I think it was taken from him!
If he had it in his possession i do believe it would have been very much ON!

http://www.9news.com/news/article/301687/339/Teams-end-search-for-missing-13-year-old-boy

This article has a quote from LE about MR not being named as a POI but also not ruled out as a POI, FWIW.

That article is from back on Nov 27th. Here's a more recent one from Dec 3rd

Authorities executed a search warrant last week at the house of Mark Redwine, the father of Dylan, but the father is not considered a suspect, said Capt. Jim Ezzell, chief investigator with the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office

Has anyone ever seen where police said Elaine is not a person of interest or a suspect?

Bringing this over from the last thread. I believe it was from Katydid.

"The only way I can think of is IF MR can show a receipt for a box of Capn Crunch, bought at Walmart on Sunday evening. And there are Dylan's prints on the box. Or some cookies or chips that he bought for his son, with his prints. I don't think he would still have the milk carton from that trip, but maybe."

Except, what if dad let Dylan "pick out" the cereal, milk and/or cookies? Dylan picks it up and puts it in the cart. Then his prints would be on it, even if he never made it to the house.

wow, good thinking. And hopefully they have more pictures and videos of Dylan inside the walmart. He probably placed some of the groceries on the conveyer belt at the register and they would have video evidence of that. So you are right, those prints would not prove he made it to the cabin then.

If he fell asleep before digging out the phone charger without turning off the phone, his battery was most likely dead. Only he knows why he didn't find a way to contact anyone. MOO

it would ping if it was on.

IMO Dylan's phone vanished with Dylan (and his other belongings) sometime Sunday evening. The unreturned texts to R and the lack of use of the phone that night further affirms my thought on that. MOO

They don't have to say that because she was not the last one known to be seen with him, and she was many hours away by car.

When did it stop pinging? And please cite a MSM article which states when the phone stopped 'pinging.'

Misread that post. Nothing to see here!

Someone else very well may know as well.

And if it didn't?

I haven't heard anything other than the phone and other belongings are missing. If that isn't the case, maybe I've missed a news story or something...

Where does it say that they haven't?

There has been absolutely no proof of Dylan arriving at that house .

And i am sure the time line of the facebook page states the phone was switched off Sunday night. If anybody knows they do IMO.

Could everybody please take a break for an hour or so? I don't want to come home to 100s of posts to catch up on! :please:

Will do , thanks :)

There is no proof that Dylan didn't arrive at the house.

And the Facebook page is not MSM.
