I never said that, so I can see why you'd be confused.

I'm sorry, those quotes came directly from you. I had the entire thing "quoted" but it didn't show up as such, so what was it that you never said?
I'll go back up and try to add your post if I can, then maybe neither of us would be confused. :floorlaugh:

I have no personal interest in MR being guilty. None whatsoever. I do not know anyone in this family. The only interest I have is in finding out what happened to this little boy.

Yes many things mentioned above draw red flags. But there are lots of assumptions. MR very well could have searched the lake and that could explain where he was before going to Bayfield and the fact is HE MIGHT HAVE TOLD LE THIS. Just because WE don't know doesn't mean it didn't happen. I'm sure LE questioned MR about what he and Dylan did after arriving home that night. Just because WE don't know what he told them that doesn't mean he told them nothing or he ONLY told them they threw the football around and Dylan passed out. LE does not tell the public everything. The fact is we have very little info. We have bits and pieces.

Of course LE doesn't "have" to tell us everything they know. But when it comes to MR, why doesn't HE tell the story? Or have a prepared statement for his attorney to give to the press about those details?
If the man has nothing to hide, then there is no possible way for him to reveal case sensitive information. If he didn't do anything wrong, why can't he disclose the details of that evening? He wasn't involved, so....? He can't possibly know anything, right? Just a quick run down on what happened that evening and the following afternoon. If not to the press/public, why not to ER or CR? LE is only interested in keeping details from the public that would only be known to the perp. If MR isn't responsible, why not speak out? He appears to have a lot of concerns about people saying he is guilty. Why not fix the problem?
Not buying it.

We do know next to nothing and this drives me crazy! But I guarantee you LE knows more than we do. Obviously they do not have enough for an arrest. We just have to trust that they know what they're doing based on what THEY know. I want to know what they know! LOL

Yeh, me too. They could clear up some things for us, couldn't they??? LOL

I think they haven't made an arrest because they don't have anyone to arrest. I think things checked out with the main suspect in the case and now they are scratching their heads. That's the thing about putting all your eggs in one basket, when that basket falls apart, all your eggs get broken and you need new eggs AND a new basket. :)

I am sorry to hear that Elaine is having a difficult time getting attention for Dylan's case. Unfortunately, this case is two months old, and that was around the time that even more publicized cases (Kyron, Lisa) started to fade out of the national news.

I also "hope" that it's the national media that isn't returning Elaine's calls, not the local media. I haven't watched HLN in a while, but I feel like they must be all over the Jodi Arias trial. :/

I know that was the case with TruTv. They were airing the Arias trial and dissecting it.

I know what I wrote, but I never said anything about Sunday night.

I would love to see MR do a good long interview. I really would. And I would love to know that he is communicating and working with Elaine to find their son.

lots of addressing the postER going on in this thread and my gosh.. how many times have we had to remind you all not to do this? I am closing the thread to give everyone a bit of time to think about this.

Important Changes to the discussion :

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. To be clear, the victim in any case we cover is the victim (missing and/or deceased child and/or adult). Dylan Redwine is missing and he is our victim.

We are going to open discussion and sleuthing on Dylan's father Mark Redwine although he has not been named a person of interest. More often than not, we are finding that LE is reluctant to name a POI unless and until an arrest is imminent. However, the actions of LE may often times speak louder than words and for this reason, we are now going to allow discussion about Dylan's father.

Any questions or concerns with the above? Please personal message a moderator or administrator.

bump: read this again

The discussion rules have been relaxed but that does not mean you can outright accuse him.

We can discuss our speculation based on facts, we cannot post out and out rumors. You can not speculate on something that is not known thru the media and or law enforcement.

All opinions are welcome, please don't talk about being on one team or another. We all want the same thing... Dylan to be found safe and brought home!!!

Folks, we have allowed the discussion of Dylan's father in this case because there are a lot of questions surrounding Dylan's disappearance and he was the last person known to see him prior to his disappeance.

We do not know what happened to Dylan or who is responsible. It is not a foregone conclusion that MR is responsible for the disappearance of his son.

We are web sleuths and as web sleuths, we'd like to see any and all possibilities as to what may have happened to Dylan discussed here. Any members chastising other members for putting forth alternative theories will be hit with hefty timeouts.

All reasonable theories and discussion of facts are welcome in this thread.

Please carry on and let's do what we do best.

Thank you.

Please continue here. Post responsibility and be kind to each other. Everyone's opinion counts.

and this

and remember that if you have a post with a YOU in it please check before you post: there is WAY to much SNARK and personalizing in posts in this thread.

The thread is now opened back up but be forewarned that the previous snarky and attacking behavior will NOT be tolerated.

Post responsibly.

When I didn't see the thread under 'New Post' I got worried. I did a search and found it. And I see it has been closed for a few hours so that explains it not being under recent posts. But, since I have posted this, it will reappear and everyone can move forward. Good sleuthing everyone and glad everyone is still here for Dylan. :great:

I concur. I don't know any of these people. I want Dylan back home with his family, alive, well and happy.

IA w/this. I think getting some questions answered would help move this case forward.

"Because we have no leads, there's no proof, there's nothing to point us in the right direction," said Hess. "We have no idea which direction to even go in."

Denise Hess said the search effort has lost a lot of momentum as well.

Droves of people wanting to help used to come into her Bayfield video store to pick up flyers.

Now it is few and far between.

I can't get the video to play.

I hope Dylan's case hasn't gone cold for LE

but I think he may be in the lake

I feel bad, but I have nothing left to say about Dylan' s case. Just hoping for some news. i guess. Lots of other active cases, ones where LE is actually communicating.
