I can list some of the stuff that Elaine is doing to bring Dylan home . Yet can anybody name anything productive by Mark in attempting to help raise awareness for Dylan ?

If I recall on the official FB page, Mark had requested some flyers to hand out to truck drivers - I think it was around the first of the year....:banghead:

He was saying that at the same time she stated that he wouldn't accept any phone calls from her or CR.
The one thing that stands out to me is both ex-wives have said he is very manipulative. Says one thing and does another. No one really knows him or what he is capable of doing.
I see a man who continues to direct the attention back to himself...while claiming he doesn't want the focus to be on him. See how that's done? Once you've been around this type, it all comes together. I've seen plenty of them act like that in my experience. Sad thing is, many good and decent folks fall for it every time because they haven't been exposed to this game.

Great post!! ITA It's a game MR has been playing for years (evident by all the court proceedings). Unless you have lived with someone that turns the table so quickly your head is spinning, it's hard to explain.

And why didn't his brother speak for him when he came to be with him after Thanksgiving (or whenever he came) and why hasn't any of his family did media interviews for Dylan???

But it sounds as though it is just the opposite, that MR is not responsive to his ex or his son at all.

They post this on each new thread so we all know what can/cannot be discussed re: MR.

Scott Peterson did the same thing while Laci was still missing. He was seen throwing the whole pile of fliers in the trash when he thought no one was looking.

Yes, all theories seem to be welcome, as long as you do not outright accuse MR/anyone, so just word any theories accordingly.

In the beginning, in an interview Mark gave, didn't he say he was trying to talk to Elaine?? Didn't he say something about wanting to work together and be a united front with her to find Dylan???? Then he said something about I don't want to have dinner with her, I just want to be able to sit down as a family and sort things out and look for Dylan??

Gosh, it's been two months, it's hard to remember everything and separate fact from speculation presented as fact. But I seem to remember him reaching out to start with. I think that was around the time she made her first public statement that she thought Mark was capable of doing something to Dylan. Not sure which came first now, the chicken or the egg. JMO

This is an occasion, I will use the old line "talk is cheap", because Elaine had said from after the text she got that Dylan went missing he wouldn't talk/text either her or Dylan. I think that was when she went on NG.

Maybe he doesn't respond because he feels that his older son is closer to his mom and Dylan than him and it bothers him?

I think a lot of people here question whether or not Dylan ever made it to his father's' house. I am not sure if LE knows. I tend to believe that something may have occurred when the phone seems to have gone silent.

I don't think I can state my theory without naming names. But my problem before with the theory was a motive. I now don't think there was one. I think he had an altercation with someone over a disagreement of sorts and that altercation turned physical and got out of hand.

I understand why MR may not be speaking......because his lawyer told him not to.....I get that. What I do not get is why he is still not speaking out to media, public and his own son about trying to find Dylan. If he is asked criminal questions, can't he just say "I am told not to comment about that. The focus is on finding Dylan." Also, if you only have 1 story, it will be consistent, and should not change. So in my opinion, if he is scared he is going to incriminate himself more than saying something that happened that might find his son, he is my number 1 POI. Can I say that? Hoping I am wrong with my assumptions. Go find your son.

I think at this point there are endless possibilities, but I'm stuck at Sunday night 8:00'ish. For me that's where the facts stop. The facts begin again for me after he was reported missing and LE/CBI/FBI gets involved.
