I understand what you're saying and agree that he will be sliced and diced and spit out. I truly do.
The fact remains that his flesh and blood is missing, though...
It all comes back to that. His son is missing. Nothing else should matter. Nothing! The child should come first.
And in the beginning, he gave interviews, he was out there talking and trying to get the world out that Dylan was missing. It's not like he hasn't done anything at all. Did you read what Salem said? About how he probably feels guilty because Dylan went missing on his watch? Who's to say how he should act? Maybe he's polarized by this? He has the added weight of being the one responsible for his child when he went missing, over and above being a parent of a missing child.
I don't know about you, but I'd want to crawl in bed and pull the covers over my head for that alone. How devastating this has to be for EVERYONE involved, not just mom, not just brother. Everyone seems to forget that. JMO
