OT, but if MR said he won't be around tomorrow, I doubt there will be any drama. In fact, it may be anti-climatic now in a way, since the media has already come back to the case, and LE already spoke out.

Well if they want to put pressure on Mark they better step up and make some serious drama. Media loves drama. Otherwise it will be a waste of time. JMO.

How can someone access this modem log?

You can access it through your computer. I forgot how. I did it once when an IT guy had to hack into my computer from afar. I am sure you can find how online.

That's what I'm wondering, yes. The language in LE's press release is somewhat ambiguous to me. Communication could be either incoming or outgoing. I wish LE would have just said "sent" or "received". For that matter, I wish they'd have said "cellphone" if that's what was used. :moo:

So does the LE timeline release mean nothing to you since it's ambiguous? Or can you draw anything from it?

I think that the most incriminating piece of evidence that something was not right bet. Dylan and his Dad are DYlan's texts.

"RN: (time 6:43 p.m. Nov. 18) Im in pagosa coming

Dylan Redwine: Cant come srry ill hang tommarow

R: Ok

7:05 PM Dylan at Durango Walmart

R: (time 7:09 p.m. Nov. 18) Why

Dylan: idk

7:22 PM Dylan at Durango McDonalds

R: (time 7:45 p.m. Nov. 18) Did your dad say no

Dylan: (time 8:01 p.m. Nov. 18) yea

R: Oh ok"

Can't stop thinking about this exchange. It's very eery.

But how dramatic can it be without his presence? Standing across the street from an empty house? If the media does attend, we might get an interview with CR or ER, I guess. Maybe a tidbit will come out we have not heard.

I don't need to know the details on how to do it, but it seems that LE should have little problem in accessing this information. Thanks.

Well, I learned they for sure went to McDonalds at 7:22 pm! :floorlaugh:

Set the IP of your ethernet connection to 192.168.100.254

Set the Subnet Mask of your ethernet connection to 255.255.255.0

Leave the Default Gateway and DNS Servers blank.

Reboot your computer.

Make sure you change it back to DHCP when you're done, or you won't have any internet connection. I'll see if I can find a link for it.

ETA: This site might have an easier way, depending on the kind of modem you have.

They should have planned a sneak attack then. They gave him too much time to escape. They should have made their plans in secret and once they got a good amount of people on-board you organize your protest. You let the media know that something big is up but you don't give them the details until the last minute. Then you spring your trap. Easy. All this Facebook c### that they did in advance doesn't work. It scared him off.

Here's how I'm reading "Dylan's last electronic device communication'. "electronic device" is a descriptor of communication, the type of communication, so take that out. You have "Dylan's last communication". So I'm reading it as a communication sent by Dylan. They're telling us the type of communication is texting, so Dylan's last text.

Makes sense to me. May not to others. It's what I'm going with.

I do think the SMS/imessage thing is true, and that that's why Elaine didn't see it on the cell records.

I just want to know who it was sent to and what it said. I'm betting it said "good night" or "cya tomorrow" or "lol".

Well, they did get media and LE attention, and MR was never going to come outside to "give answers" anyway, so perhaps they already accomplished about as much as possible. I will believe the mediator thing when it happens.

With 100+ people planning to be there, I can't say that I blame him for leaving. Even with him gone, I'm a bit concerned about them being able to keep things under control.

9:37PM Dylan’s last electronic device communication (texting)

it says Dylan's electronic device was communicating....doesn't necessarily mean Dylan personally was using the device.....someone else could have been using his device

That's true. Especially considering that we don't know what was in the message and to whom it was addressed.

How is it eerie? It's a text exchange between two friends. I tell my boys no all the time, but that doesn't mean I plan on killing them.

With 100+ people planning to be there, I can't say that I blame him for leaving. Even with him gone, I'm a bit concerned about them being able to keep things under control.

Whether he's there or not, I don't see any major breakthroughs. They are pickiting him and gave enough warning for him to find other plans. That's just about all I gather from this "rally."

I guess LE could probably determine Dylan sent the communication, depending on what it said and who it was sent to. But maybe not, if it was a one or two word message. Anyway, it is very curious and mystifying to have that scrap, but not enough to make it into a fact.

could it also mean that the device was receiving a text?

I'm starting to see a pattern here. People can text message and not leave a record of it on their phone bill. Maybe that's why Elaine thought that Dylan's last message was at 8:00 when in reality it was at 9:37 PM.

But Dylan didn't have an ipad, and from my understanding, his ipod wasn't an ipod touch. So what would he be using to send the text?

IMO, if he had any cojones, he'd stay there & face the music and speak out...whether it be to speak out about his own innocence or answer questions about that Sunday night from the media. Dylan is his son too and I just do not understand his inaction & silence. I don't understand his avoiding his other son either.

Not only has MR's behavior been suspicious throughout this ordeal <modsnip> IMO.

I think that you may be right. We'll see how the protest goes tomorrow.

If things go bad at the protest, I have a feeling that any mediated discussions will be postponed.
