If LE know that Mark is innocent then they are playing a dangerous game if that backfires and this goes south IMO ..

There has been talk that Mark could be suicidal and so if god forbid somethinf happened and LE then reveal they always knew it was not him , then I assume there would be legal repercussions as you can not play around with people like that . He is not lab rat !!

MOO

MOO

LE is not obligated to reveal anything or clear anyone.
And how could they possibly know that MR as innocent? As far as I can tell, there have been no credible sightings of Dylan the next morning.
There is no evidence of an abduction, as far as I can tell.
What would LE base this knowledge on?

O/T - get well soon . I have woken up as its 2:44am here because I was freezing cold and shivering and yet my head is so hot I could boil a egg on it . So I know how sucky it is to be ill .

I wonder if LE has asked the person who received that text off Dylan not to reveal anything to the family or media ??

Feel better soon :seeya:

Think about it though. If MR didn't do anything, and LE keeps a lid on that, the real perp is getting a false sense of security that he's not on LE's radar. If LE were to declare MR not a suspect, then the real culprit could hit the road and go into hiding. That's what I take LE's statement to mean, that they don't want to say anything because they don't want to tip their hand and show the suspects where they are going with this investigation and what they have already. They clear MR, they are showing their hand. A good poker player keeps his cards very close.

yes, and the same thing can be said if Mark IS a possible suspect?

So sorry... Just got over the whole flu thing in our house and I know exactly how you feel. Rest and take care of yourself. And, that's a good question - LE probably has asked this person to keep quiet or else someone probably would have spoken about it already.

Get well... :seeya:

Here's the thing..... we don't have to convict him. He's not been charged. We are merely pointing out suspicious activities, words, circumstances. Those who act like we've been jury and tried and convicted him are way off base. It takes a ton more evidence to convict someone and there's nothing to say there will ever be enough to convict anyone.
I personally find MR a very likely suspect. That is a long way from convicting him. If I sat on a jury today with what little info we have, there's no way I could convict him. I might be suspicious and I might be pretty sure he did it but that's not the law of proof beyond a doubt. Thankfully if and when charges are filed , it will be up to others to weigh the evidence and decide his fate.
In the grand scheme of think I doubt very much if MR gives two hoots what the people of WS think of him or what anyone else on the interwebs thinks of him.

I wonder though about other theories that have been either swept under the rug or not allowed to be discussed. IMO when ER opened the door on accusing MR and Websleuths allowed that same discussion, everything else went out the window.

The thing about this last 'text' that doesn't sit right with me. Ryan's last text said for Dylan to call him when he got there. I'm assuming that this last text from Dylan's 'electronic device' was not to Ryan or it would've been shared already. (I could be wrong.) If it really was Dylan that texted - and he was not in distress and fine and his normal self, arriving at Mark's as planned, etc - then I think he would have texted or called Ryan to finish up their conversation or least b/c Ryan asked him to.

Interesting that LE is holding the info in that last text close to the vest. MOO

What would his response be? Ok? K? IMO the conversation was over. R said text when you get here. It doesn't require a response. JMO

First thank you.. Yucky being sick..I think I could fry eggs on my whole body about now. I am in my massage chair with heat, PJ's, sock and still freezing..

Good possibility, LE has something..and right now I am happy not knowing because I want to see Justice served for Dylan and his family. Whoever took Dylan or did something to Dylan will pay for their crime one way or another. I hope I make sense and it's not the meds talking..lol

Katy, I was just thinking earlier I am about at 70% myself!

I'm swimming back and forth between 10% and 30% tonight. Mark loves Dylan. I don't believe he would kill him. I think he *may* have stashed him because he felt like the one person he truly loves and who loves him was being taken from him. But I also think someone else could really hurt Mark by stashing Dylan, and there are some people really angry and vengeful toward him. It would be a surefire way to hurt him deeply.

How does someone stash a 13 year old? 13 year old is a person, not a thing.

Not like it has never happened before.

But in this case I think it is highlyyyyy unlikely.

Hypothetically, if the 13 year old didn't mind being stashed, then it wouldn't be that hard. JMO

Well, I am pretty sure that can be ruled out in this case. Dylan had mother, brother, many friends. I don't see why he wouldn't mind being "stashed."

But there is NO reason to believe Dylan wanted to be removed from his life.
iMO, if he is alive, he is a prisoner in every sense of the word.

Only on page 10, but has this been addressed??? Threatening them?????? If it were me, I would answer every phone call, text, anything to find my son! HUH?

"Elaine Redwine said Mark Redwine has been “evasive,” and he has shut down communication with her. She has asked him several times to sit down and talk to her, she said, but he hasn’t made it a priority. Instead, he has threatened to file harassment charges against her and her son, Cory, for texting him repeatedly about the day Dylan went missing."

Keep reading. Oh, but HE'S the victim now, not Dylan. OMG, OMG, OMG...This is not the response of an innocent person...JMO

Agree. I personally can't see any reason why Dylan would be in favor of such an idea.

When exactly did it happen before? All of the relatives are accounted for, so where and how could he be stashed? He is a 13 year old, very prolific texter. How can you stash someone who would contact friends a first chance he got?
