I think the same, sunday night is what they are focusing on and they wouldn't do that without good reason.

also do you know if MR was ever diagnosed with a mental illness at all?

Not by any professional that I know of, just me. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

but I don't think that counts.

O/T, you all type/talk too fast, I'm making a promise to catch up on all the pages BEFORE I reply to anyone, sorry for all the duplicate comments to people.

Have a great day! I have a one year old birthday party today :)

Breaking news - shirtless guy overslept and won't make the protest

After reading avidly/always and commenting once, I feel MR is a very REACTIVE person.

In explaining the context of the use of this word 'REACTIVE' I will transpose the antithesis now.

MR in no way has appeared PROACTIVE in the search and solving the disappearance of Dylan, his and ERs' son.

Now with my observation of MR and his history that has been chronicalled by azgrandma here, this is now to me, an atypical REACTIVE personality. IMO.

Now with the 'pressure' of a rally with very close proximity to his residence.....he has launched straight into the reactive phase again by answering media calls with his own comments of this 'rally' action.

MR also immediately stated perhaps a mediating offer, followed by harrassment charges he could make...the dichotomy of these statements is incongruously frightening and scary.

So, we face this REACTIVE, frighteningly scary father whose child is missing, who sits at home and blocks contact with immediate family members who wish to find answers for their questions.

What would you do in this situation kind truely observant people of their neighbours and closely profiled crime perps like this?

This tells me this is not a full picnic sort-a-person. Very strange reactions by a father

I think the rally achieved a couple of things already. As we know we heard a bit more from LE and MW stated he was going to arrange mediation. I think this rally is important to the Family and the Community. Come together in support of Dylan in a positive way. Letting others know they aren't going to sit back and let this just go away. Keeps Dylan's plight out there. Good for them.

Sorry, but frighteningly scary? I haven't seen this documented anywhere about MR. IIRC I recall reading that he was actually well loved by Dylan and the rest of his family prior to the divorce, and that he hadn't ever harmed them.

Some recent posts have referred to a Walmart visit on Monday morning - I think I have missed something. Maybe from recent news? If anyone could link this it would be much appreciated. TIA

Do you have a link for that? (sorry, I hate asking people that, but I have not seen this)

I've been wondering about the Walmart thing as well. I missed whatever it is that started that.

I'm looking for a local news station that might carry it live. I know it's unlikely but on a slow news day, who knows right? So what I'm finding is that Durango lies in between other major markets so they don't have their own news stations, per se, but most are out of Albuquerque. Does that sound right? Some news stations have a live feed going all day on their website. It's usually a traffic or weather cam but if a news story breaks, they show that live. So that's what I'm hoping to find, but not terribly optimistic . Any thoughts ?

Mark took a swing at Dylan over the sex on the lawn fiasco when Dylan tried to protect his mum .

It was unclear to me which son (Cory or Dylan) Elaine said Mark took a swing at, since she said both sons were present, but didn't specify the name of who Mark took the swing at. I didn't see anything in Elaine's statement about Dylan trying to protect her.

It's unusually quiet right now. Is the scanner thread open and everyone is there or something?

There wasn't anyone in the scanner thread when I checked awhile ago. I've been listening to the scanner for about an hour, but it's still early. Nothing I've heard seems related.

ETA: Actually, only half-listening because I am still half-asleep. lol

I'm awake but twisted my ankle so am couch bound today. If the scanner picks up, I may turn off the tv and listen a bit. I don't think we'll get any live news on the rally. Probably just stories later.

Sounds like your best bet may be Fox News. On Kevin Torres FB page (9news) someone asked if he was going to be there. Someone else answered that Fox news will be "out in force".

Sort of jumping off the post Berry just made (love your avatar, btw, now that's an awesome shirtless guy), I think MR is the type of guy who doesn't like being called out. That's why I think this rally was a productive idea. The problem for me is that when MR does speak out, we don't see much of the following which would seem to sort of automatic when making a public statement:

Thanking LE for their tireless efforts
Thanking the public who have voiced their concerns and donated reward money
Appealing to anyone could be holding Dylan or could have information to do the right thing
Addressing Dylan directly by say words to the effect of "if you can hear this, we love you and need you to come home. We haven't given up, etc"

To me, what we don't hear from MR is the biggest reason I find his behavior suspicious. All MOO.
