Because of the economic recession, Mark Redwine has been working out of the area and comes home to Vallecito when he can.


“Fathers and mothers do what we got to do” to support their families, even if that means long-distance jobs, Redwine said.


He specifically came back Nov. 17 to pick up Dylan at the airport. But Redwine said there had been some mechanical problem with the plane, so Dylan's mother rescheduled for Dylan to fly in Sunday evening.

OK sorry to quote myself but just wanted to add that I just received confirmation that the above described is 100% possible..

Quickly all I did was put my SIM card into one of the many we have of the older model, basic capabilities cell phones(flip phone, no internet, no GPS).. from that phone I typed out a few words in a text message and sent it to hubby's phone who is at work approx. 20-25 miles from our home .. this area in/around his work is known to have delayed delivery of text messages to his phone(and that's any/all of the various models of cell phones he's had over the last decade)..

The cell from which I SENT the text message is timestamped at 3:42pm as to what time the text officially was SENT from the phone I used.. However hubby's cell phone did not RECEIVE or have the text message delivered to his phone until 3:58pm.

Official time stamp via the phone from which the message was SENT is 3:42pm .

Official time stamp via the phone of which was the RECIPIENT of the text message was RECEIVED at 3:58pm.

Just sharing what IMO has been the most probable explanation of the 9:27pm text and the 9:37pm very last electronic communication ever WRT Dylan's cell phone.. and that IMO it is absolutely possible that the 10minute delay of delivery is strictly a logistics issue.. Dylan's cell phone being in or traveling through an area that caused the delivery of the text to be delayed therefor being a time stamp of being sent at 9:27pm via the friends phone ... and a time stamp of being delivered/received at 9:37pm via Dylan's cell phone(records) .. jmo in looking at the various possibilities regarding the last cell phone usage/communication/activity.

I do not share your optimism. Unless someone close to the family is some kind of a deranged sociopath, of course, and no one has noticed that this person has not been seen in over two months either.

If you don't live in the Denver area, you can't watch the interview on TV. I'm not sure if they will have a live feed on their website.

Yes 9 news does a live feed the channel is KUSA. If that helps.

So is the speculation really that Dylan is alive and "hidden"? Honestly? Based on what? Exes who do not like one another? I just do not get it.

Indeed. God forbid a single man living alone a) is used to thinking about himself first, or b) possesses a loaded gun when mobs of irrational and potentially unstable folks - most of whom are uninvolved strangers - are accusing him of murder and even stalking him outside of his house.
