And to add to my post above, the statement MR made: " I have no involvement in where Dylan is at" reminds me of some of the weird statements that BJD made about Hailey after her disappearance, like: " I looked in her room and it was dark and it looked like she was laying in bed. But I didn`t go touch her, make sure that was her. I just peeked in to make sure she was in bed to ease my mind and..."

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I'm a lefty also......my mom would never let me iron; it drove her crazy!!

Perhaps we look like this...

:crazy::crazy::crazy:

You should see me bowl or shoot a gun, I use my right hand, stand with the left dominant foot and look out my left eye. Ikes no wonder I get so many gutter balls and have to adjust the aim!!!!!:sigh:

If he is in the lake then technically that could be true by that stage . If the body is moved with the water then by that stage MR actually would not know the location of Dylan ( if guilty) :cow:

Yep, and I keep coming back to how many times he talks about how important DR's friends are to him - like he just wants to make sure everyone knows they could not have possibly fought about that.. At one point, MR says, "His friends are important..and I know they are important to me", freudian slip?? Even when he talks about how they possibly had plans to go bowling, he adds, "not with just me", but how they would also invite DR's friends. Why keep bringing it up?
I don't know how much you all believe in non-verbal lying clues, but it seems like whenever MR is talking about mundane things, he looks off to the left - -but when he talks about investigational issues, he looks up to the right. Supposedly, a person will look up to the right when lying, if they are right-handed.

Exactly! and you can bet if he keeps referring to something that is not even asked about, that is a clue.

O/T i am amazed by how many left handed people are on here. I am also left handed due to my brother. Apparently i was quite happy being Right handed until i copied my brother who was a lefty. The up side was that i was the worlds worst person with scissors and up until i left high school , my school mates were instructed to cut things for me due to me being a danger to myself with scissors. And i still look like i am going to slice off my hand when i use a knife from all accounts to this day .

I thought that was a weird statement when he made it .
Why not ' i didnt' hurt dylan' ' i dont know where he is' ?
MR uses strange language and sometimes comes across
as a very intelligent man. Then throws in an ' is at' and
wipes that slate clean. I can't figure him out.

So question to anyone who knows MR personally, wink, wink.
When he does lie, can he outright lie? Or fish around the truth
so it's not so much a lie?
Example: I have no involvement in your missing wallet?
vs. I did NOT take your wallet!

Lefties are far more intelligent, curious and sleuthy than the
general population........from what I hear !

They say that the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, so only left-handed people are in their right minds. Of course, it was no doubt a lefty who said it!

I'm still working wink, wink

I don't remember at all. I know he lied and I caught him, I guess that comes with every couple that is together for a length of time, they can tell immediately when their partner is lying.

IMOO and from experience, that interview made me sick. Still does.

Some other signs of lying are answering a question with a question. Deflecting - which was done a lot. Not answering the question asked - which is a way of speaking for politicians.

Also, I notice how much rambling is going on, too many useless details - like when MR starts in, he can't get himself to stop talking. From truthaboutdeception.com:
People get suspicious when answers contain more details or information than was required. Essentially, providing too many details makes people wonder if the truth is being told.

This effect is called the "falsifiability heuristic."

Another thing I notice in the video is when asked why the focus is on him, he says, "He was last seen with me", "he was with me the night before", and then skips a beat, like he remembers he better say this too, "..and you know I saw him the morning that I left to go run my errands."

LOL I wonder that as well, I'm a lefty but do pretty much everything except eat & write with my right hand. The downfall to being raised in a right-handed world. I guess if I lied my eyes would roll up or in circles. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

I wonder about that. too. I think being truly ambidextrous is rare, but I think lefties are able to function with both hands better than right handers, probably because as you say say, living in a right handed world. My husband writes and eats right, but plays sports, uses tools, etc. left handed.

WOW ! Lorde, welcome and thanks for having such a good eye. That is interesting. Perhaps we discussed it a billion pages ago but I can't remember. So tell me, before you posted, did you actually read all of the previous threads?

Just discovered one of MR's neighbors has a live weather webcam set up.
http://okielegacy.us/
She seems to be an avid blogger, etc. Filmed the recent demonstration. I wonder if her webcam footage is archived or if LE spoke with her about viewing the Nov. 18th-19th.

ETA- couldn't get a specific address but is in the 2200 block of CR 500. MR is at 2343 CR 500.

Welcome to Websleuths. I have also noticed some of the language you and others have pointed out, indirect statements, unnecessary details and repetition of sensitive subjects. Whether people make a conscious effort to analyze or not, I think such language is one of the things that lead people to those "gut feelings" or feelings that something is just not right. Of course I am one of those people who thinks "gut feelings" don't arise out of a vacuum but have a definite underlying cause. All MOO
