Im thinking Ryan!
Only LE has kept that one secret!

I only say that because the times are pretty close!

It wasn't LE that showed us Ryan's texts. It was the press and Ryan himself. 9:37 pm text was not there.

The few Red Flags is that Sunday evening concerning Dylan's texting to his Friend, it was not a normal texting for someone described by his Mother as an avid texter, Dylan answered back 15-30 minutes later to the friend he was making plans to meet up with the following morning, and it was short answers, and it was obvious from Dylan's answers to his Friend something was not right, below is the link, and also his Mother and Father commenting

http://www.durangoherald.com/article/20121215/NEWS01/121219687
His Friend Ryan texted

Ryan: Dude you need to call somebody anybody asap we all worried about you your mom called and shes worried bro
Ryan: Seriously when you get the message call someone

As anyone that's been around a person that likes to text a lot, Dylan was not responding normaly, Something was wrong, Law Enforcement like everyone else knows, within this time frame something happened, i don't believe the Fathers account of tossing a football when they arrived home that night, his father made a statement that Dylan was to tired to even talk about the new house, and the following morning the Father commented Dylan didn't want to get up,

I find it hard to believe Dylan was Tired at all, he's a Young boy with a lot of energy, and was excited about seeing his friend that night, but wasn't able, so it was planned the following morning, Dylan didn't make a cross country trip that lasted all day, Sunday evening is the Time frame that's important in solving this case, and finding Dylan, It's not Monday morning, that the Father wants the world to believe.

According to the new timeline LE released DR was busy in between the texts from Ryan. He was at Walmart shopping and at McDonald's having something to eat. This could explain the delays in return texts. JMO

Deputies have released an update timeline about Dylan’s activities on Sunday, November 18:

5:46 p.m. Dylan arrived at Durango-La Plata airport.
7:05 p.m. Dylan at Durango Walmart
7:22 p.m. Dylan at Durango McDonalds

9:37 p.m. Dylan’s last electronic device communication (texting)

Dylan's father, Mark Redwine, said he left his son home alone on Monday while he ran errands. Redwine said when he returned home, Dylan was missing

Exactly Nurse. Why would Ryan leave off the last text. He gave them the entire sequence of texts. imo

Im very sure LE had a gander at that young mans cell phone long before the press did. IM very sure they took it off possibly because of what it said! JMO

I suppose anything is possible at this point...

I have even wondered if the 9:37 was a typo for 9:27

  • #867
How do we know that was the entire text exchange?

well, Eileen, your guess is as good as mine but he shared over 24 hours of texts and the 9:27 text was in the middle...

he also shared texts from the following day.

I this it was I posted when this first was released that it was a typo and I still believe that without a doubt. jmo

I am leaning this way myself.

Have we seen the original LE release? I have wondered about a typo too. If it was LE mistake on the original release it doesn't seem like they have corrected it. I have the feeling putting that text 'out there' was the whole point for some reason, maybe to rattle someone?

I would think LE was at Ryns house that evening D went missing and had R's phone and everything on it that monday night!

Nurse I know. It was just another guess on another day. I only said R because of the times. And something could have been said LE didnt want out there. I can see them taking a text off a phone if they didnt want soeone to see it!

I am just relieved that R and his parents let the media have the texts as I don't think LE would of ever released them to the public..moo

LE could not delete them off the phone unless R and his family agreed. They belong to R and are his to do with as he wishes which is why he was allowed to give them to the media.

Was the "texting " part not added by a media report rather than LE?

All LE said was (electronic device)

I think they were told to let the media see them.

I have not seen another case where anyone was asked to see someones text messages and I cant see parents allowing it unless LE said to but thats just MO.

BBM
In my opinion, LE knows who the recipient of the 9:37 text is and talked to them about it well before the timeline was released. If they wanted to rattle that person they would have done it that that time.

All of these say "Dylan at" except for last, so either it is not known to be him, or not known where it generated from, I guess?
