And he purchased that plane ticket for Dylan to visit him, the same day they learned that ER got full custody.

Do you have a link for that? It seems strange to buy the ticket 2 months before the trip, especially if you don't even know if he'll be able to come then. MOO

I remember reading that as well and that it was a one way ticket but can't get a link as I'm not at home until late tonight and am on iPad vs desktop.
Will gladly provide later if I can locate it.

Was it ever confirmed why Dylan did not fly on the night he should of ?

I am just wondering if this also irked Mark's mood and he thought Elaine was playing games by delaying Dylan's arrival by a day ?

I think he knew that Dylan would be coming. It was in the court order and probably the next time he would be seeing Dylan so he just bought them early to be sure it was a set up deal. Maybe he's a methodical planner.

I hope you find that link, Jan, because I remember it well myself. He bought the ticket the same day he was in court for the visitation and it was a ONE-WAY ticket.
(rumor only, but I did read that ER was responsible for his trip home and was planning to drive down and pick him up)

Did anyone else find it strange the reporter, of the interview airing tomorrow, asked specifically if one parent could be hiding DR from the other ? That with all of the statements/ rumors of ER/CR and others that are things like MR has a part of it or MR knows something OR he had something to do with it OR its gone on long enough or too long, really makes me lean towards this may be what LE is looking towards. Its' just a curious statement. Because here at WS , we seem mostly in 2 camps either MR did something ( fatal :( ) or a stranger abduction. Yet LE hasn't ruled out parental *(hiding, kidnapping? ) and that the reporter would ask that seems strange. What if he's actually hidden?

Could also have been because of advanced booking discount...also because it is the busiest time of the year for flying and waiting may have resulted in not getting a flight. JMO

Yes, my memory is the same. I just can't load my documents w/ links on this iPad and am "Daddy sitting" until late tonight. Will share when I find.

Read same about ER responsible for return trip, too...

I wonder if she based her question off Elaine's hopeful/wishful thinking that maybe Mark has managed to have Dylan being held somewhere.

What I remember reading is that she was award "full custody", or whatever they call it now, in mid-September. He went to court in November to get his "visitation" set up and arranged for his trip when that went through. I thought it was about a week before the trip. I was just wanting a link because I'm obviously not remembering correctly if he bought the tickets in September. MOO

"After all that, I was pretty sure Mark would never talk to me on camera, but he agreed to let me come to his house. When I arrived, it was unnerving to see the loaded shotgun on his kitchen table. Mark explained he had been receiving threatening phone calls. He also started crying right in front of the kitchen sink. The rough-around-the-edges guy talked about his bond with his lost son. I spent nearly two hours there. Mark answered every single one of my questions. "

It probably means physical custody, but it's kinda hard to tell. The words that explain it better would be physical, joint, legal and sole custodies.

(I've had a history with step-family situations. The "beentheredonethat").

I think they call it primary parenting time, or something like that, and visitation is now just called parenting time. It's been a long time since I had to worry about it, and I never had to go to court about it, so I'm definitely not up on the terminology. :blushing:

You had me at hello ! I cannot wait for this thing.
Hopefully every one of her questions are questions
of substance and it's not a fluff piece.

I hope she spent some time with the Sheriff spokesperson too. I want some real information from LE!!!

  • #1,178
And I bet LE wants the uncut tape of MR's & ER's interview.

Mark has a gun at hand?? .. creepy !

I am guessing she threw softball type questions at Mark, but I hope not.
Ask him about the phone and ask him exactly and specifically what did they do from the time they left McDonald's and the rest of Sunday night.
