Well this Texas (ashamed Cowboys fan) chick is rooting for San Fran baby!! It hurts to say that, but I can't stand Ray Lewis and Baltimore.

I hear ya and I am hoping after this season Romo is Nomo. JMO

I am sure if there was any type of "accident," MR would have called 911 post-haste. After all, it's not likely he would withhold medical treatment. If Dylan was accidentally killed on MR's watch, I also think -- because it's human nature/first response -- MR would have called the authorities. It doesn't make sense that MR would make things worse for himself by covering up an accident, no matter how serious. After all, MR is his father, not a babysitter or someone unrelated. Mark comes across to me as a broken man consumed with grief and self-blame (or am I being manipulated by him?)

I agree, I think most parents would call 911 immediately if there was an accident. In our area, we call 911 even if we need the sheriff's dept, or city police, that's the fastest way to get help. The dispatcher asks what is the nature of your emergency and then directs it to whatever dept. is needed.

Mark does not seem to me to be the type of person that would immediately think to cover up an accident involving his child. There would be no reason to go into panic mode and think he's going to get the blame for this, so he has to dump his body and make it look like he was abducted. Normal people just don't do that.

While I do not necessarily believe MR covered up a natural death or accident, I also do not believe there is any way to tell if he is the type of person who would do so. What would that type of person be like?

I mean, he apparently had anger or menacing in his background, at least to the degree he was once charged. I don't know anyone who has ever been accused of "menacing" so I don't know what such a person is like. JMO

ETA Also this is a man with, we have been told, no relationship with all or most of his other children, not really "normal" in my book.

Amen!!

I'm just ready for baseball season.
And sadly, Dylan will be missing his training for HIS baseball season. Just a complete travesty that these things happen in this world. EVIL.

Will he ever be found ?

I read that PonchiSam saw his shadow today and that Spring is only 6 weeks away. Now for those that believe, does that mean the spring thaw is close at hand? I live in Texas so it really doesn't matte here. We only have two seasons. Summer and summer. But seriously does that mean that the snow will be going away soon, the lake will be thawing and the search can resume? ty

The problem here is we have 2 separate LE officials making statements:

“Both parties took a polygraph early on in the investigation, Shupe said, but authorities cannot release results.”
http://durangoherald.com/article/201...no-new-leads--
(Lt. Ray Shupe, Durango Police)

“Dan Bender, a spokesman for the La Plata County Sheriff’s office, said he could not comment on polygraph tests, or even confirm if they had been administered.”
http://www.pinerivertimes.com/

All credit and kudos for quotes and links goes to our very own TXJan! Thank you for the great work you do!

I don't see that as being so different. Bender was just saying he wasn't going to comment on who took them or the results. Shupe says they both took them but would not comment on results. Same thing, IMO. Not commenting on something doesn't mean they didn't, it just means... he won't comment.

I think he's still with us. It's not wishful thinking. I truly believe it.

I probably should have added that my comment wasn't directed at your post. I was just jumping off your post based on the conflicting information LE has put out about the poly's being taken or not. Some posters have refused to acknowledge that the test was administered at all because of Bender's comment. I was just trying to help. Sorry for the confusion.

I respect your feelings and agree with your posts, so I ask you where do you think he is? Would love any source of positives. ty

It was my opinion. They get tossed around here all the time. And I said nothing about how anybody looks. Covering up an accident like that would not fall under anger or menacing, so to me, that's beside the point.

He does appear to have a volatile history with his family (both families). JMO, but nothing he does surprises me and it also wouldn't surprise me one bit if he is eventually charged in this case. JMO and MOO

Well I can't really answer that and stay within TOS. So I know it sounds goofy, but I just do believe he's with us...somewhere.

I think he is with us as well.
I must qualify that by saying I always believe it in
every case and am so so so disappointed when it's not true.
So I cannot say I have a ' gut 'feeling that he is . I just
dont' believe he's not until proven other wise. Always hopeful.
Just because I may say this or that ' might ' have happened to
him doesn't mean I want to believe it .
C'mon Home Kiddo !
