In the same uncut MR video, I though this was interesting:

"..there was some discussion about him leaving with me so I could drop him off in the Bayfield area with one of his friends that had been trying to text him, or he had been communicating with."

WHY did he say "had been trying"?? Then as though he catches himself, he adds "or he had been communicating with"

Wow, gives me the shivers

Very interesting choice of words. I did not catch this. Thanks for pointing it out. I keep reading this over and over and this is yet another very odd statement IMO.

I'd love to think this young man is still with us but it has been to long for someone to have done it and get by with it. Dylan would not go along with it for sure so they'd have to hold him against his will. I believe LE would have found out by now. They said something happened to him in the house or he left the house and something happened to him. That doesn't hold out much hope of being found alive, tome. Just MOO.

So what next? Does MR take a 2nd polygraph? I wonder how soon before Sadie and her 4 legged friends can start searching? How is the weather there? Is the idea of mediation between the parents off the table now?

Attached below is a Dylan Redwine Timeline for Sunday, 11/18/2012 which was just approved for distribution. I will be happy to update/edit as necessary.

Per Salem's request, I will also provide a copy of this in the media/timeline section of Dylan's thread.

Sorry I'm behind... But thanks!!!

Would a property owner have to give permission to let cadaver dogs search?
Just wondering if that may be a reason why they have not done so....or why we have not heard......

I agree that a parent with visitation is more apt to be the easy going parent because he or she doesn't want to spend their limited time with a child in a weekend long fight. But I also think even when parents are together, their discipline styles can be quite different. With our daughter, my husband was much more lenient about chores and grades, more tolerant of the teenage "smart mouth." I was much more lenient about friends, choice of boyfriends and curfew. With friends with sons, I noticed the opposite effect with mothers more worried about their sons' choice of friends and their comings and goings while the father were more concerned about grades, respect and general obedience. I think the issue that clouded and overshadowed all the relationships in this family was the divorce and the vitriol between the parents. I'm not saying MR wasn't glad to see his son, but I think he may also have seen this visitation as a "win" against ER and any attitude on Dylan's part that soured the situation could have brought up all the anger and resentment MR felt towards ER about the divorce. Just a theory of course and all MOO.

I probably should have added that my comment wasn't directed at your post. I was just jumping off your post based on the conflicting information LE has put out about the poly's being taken or not. Some posters have refused to acknowledge that the test was administered at all because of Bender's comment. I was just trying to help. Sorry for the confusion.

MOO

Ok, but there is no confusion in my mind about it, I have no doubt that both parents took polygraphs. LE is just not going to talk about results to the public, that's what both officials were trying to get across.
I don't see it as conflicting information. One said they both took them, the other said he won't comment on it. That doesn't imply that one or the other did not take a poly, IMO, it's just saying he cannot discuss it.
We can agree to disagree, ok?

How would that be? I don't see the connection or how it relates. jmo

The way it was stated was one-sided only (friend trying to reach Dylan) until he stopped and changed the phrasing (Dylan and Ryan texting one another).

It means that dad may have known that Dylan was unable to respond.

I absolutely agree with this and I think this may have been another slip up.

Not if they had a search warrant as they did when they went back to MR's house. But that was like 14 days later? I don't know if cadaver dogs could have picked up a scent of a body having been there at one time this late. They can pick up the scent of bodies for a very long time. I know they can pick up the scent of a body that had been in a house or car at one time (and moved), but I don't know for how long.

This is really bothering me. Why on earth would he say one of his friends 'that had been trying to text him'? And then why change it? There's something really wrong with this statement.

Was he talking about trying to wake Dylan up in the morning when he said this?

I just wish there was a way to drain the lake ( i know they cant) because i think that is the first place that needs to be cleared 100% first.

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. You think maybe that Monday morning MR saw the unanswered texts on DR's phone. Something had already happened to DR and the texts could not be answered. That is interesting if that is what you are thinking. I had not seen that statement by MR, but it certainly is something to consider. ty & jmo

It was my understanding that the lake cannot be drained due to the sheer size and volume?

That's why I want to know what was he talking about in general when he made this statement. If he was talking about the events of the night before we (and he) knows that Dylan and RN were indeed talking (if that was Dylan responding) or if he was talking about the next morning...well that is very interesting indeed.
