No, I think Ozgirl was referring to the recent 9.37 text thing.
Yes, thank you sunni.
Apologies for that. I posted in a hurry

Mentioned in the article, Dylan's mother bringing items from home for a scent for finding Dylan.
I had read here, forget which poster, but had posted about a pair of Dylan's sweatpants being at his father's house. In reading that, it had been new to me. I dunno. True?
However, what about a washcloth or a towel and possibly a toothbrush? If Dylan had packed up to start out trying to get to his friend's grandma's home that morning, maybe forgot the toothbrush. However, I highly doubt he would have taken everything to go fishing! jmo From all I have read, Dylan had been very very anxious to see his friends.
God Bless him where-ever he is. My prayers for him and his family.
I found this interesting when reading this article.
That means that LE looked at multiple electronic devices to gather information. And that included Dylan's cell phone records.
I would assume that they looked at anything regarding his iPod and any computers that he had access to during the relevant time period. MOO.

As far as Dylan's mom bringing clothes, Melissa Blasius who covered the interviews the other night with the parents and Bender had something about this on Twitter:
Detectives couldn't use the pillow or blanket from the couch because there's no guarantee it had only Dylan's scent.

TxJan, thank you for the other link, I had listened to it before, but didn't remember what the commentator had said.
Wonder why they couldn't use the sweatpants? Newly laundered or what? Brand new? Maybe bought that night at wal-mart? If you know.
My guess, and it's only a guess, would be the same as Melissa's twitter - they couldn't guarantee it had only Dylan's scent - specifically if MR was in that house and touched them or picked them up or a stranger or neighbor had stopped by and touched them ... ???

Just jumping off your post, it is important to remember that it was MR who said the sweatpants, etc. were removed by LE. Nowhere has it been confirmed that they were Dylan's sweatpants. For all we know they could have belonged to MR. Also, just wanted to add that we've seen several quotes that said there was nothing that belonged to Dylan at the house, although LE hasn't confirmed or denied that either. IMO, I haven't given any credence to the sweatpants one way or another.
JMO and MOO
But didn't D leave a pair of dirty socks there? Did he wear the socks all night and get up in the morning and just put his shoes on? My son wore the same pants and shirts over and over, but he did change his socks at least. That kind of surprises me. JMO
I think that's why Elaine said in that video.... Nothing - not even a sock!
He must have either worn the same socks because he fell asleep on the couch/slept in his clothes and never showered and/or changed, or he changed in the a.m. and stuffed his dirty socks in his backpack.
Maybe there were socks (and/or other clothing items) there and LE took them and we just haven't heard about it. We just have no confirmation on that at this time.
BBM
And that would surprise me too. Who wants dirty socks in a small bag with clean clothes?
Most 13 yr old boys leave their dirty socks on the bathroom floor or under the bed, from my experience. lol
I had another rather off the wall idea, just thought I'd warn you in case you want to just skip over it!
I keep going back to his head feeling weird when he got to Durango, and then not waking up in the morning. I wonder how long it's been since he's had a complete physical (not just a cursory school check up), and if he has any health problems. Something like encephalitis can cause a lot of problems, including parts of the body going numb, extreme fatigue and confusion. If he was coming down with something like that, and finally woke up that morning, he could have left to do something (because he really didn't know what he was doing) and ended up with the wrong person. I do know it's very unlikely (about number 1001 of my 1001 theories), but it's no less possible than some of the others I've read here (or written). MOO
