So LE have not seen them or have not asked to view them ?

Is this not strange ?

I find it extremely strange that LE has not requested the full interview tapes.
But I am finding the investigation of this case strange and somewhat slow anyway. Maybe they will ask for the tapes ten days after it was aired...

I wonder if there is a grand jury investigating this case. Has there been any reports of this?

I used to work as a grand jury coordinator and back then grand jury subpoenas for witnesses and documents were secret. Not sure if that would be the case here.

I blast through Walmart. I can have a long list and easily be in and out in an hour.

Me, too, unless I'm going all over the store from one end to the other and from front to back, too. The ones here drive me crazy because things like pet supplies are at one end and the groceries are at the other end. Then I get stuck in a narrow aisle behind somebody who's poking along like they've got all day and I want to get the heck done and out of there!!

I was not able to find anything on the GJ in La Plata...anyone else?

At 5:40 Dylan's texts RN to say his plane landed. No checked baggage means walk off the plane and straight to the truck and off to Walmart. I would guess they probably arrived at Walmart between 6:00-6:15ish.

That's me!! I'm generally on a mission when I'm in Walmart. Get in get out as quick as possible. And don't you just hate the way stores are making aisles skinnier and skinnier these days? It drives me insane!! 2 carts can barely squeeze past each other. It's ridiculous!!

Are we still going to get to see the full unedited interviews? I am dying to check those out.

JMO, but I doubt that it is anywhere near going to the grand jury yet, because doesn't the DA have to have a specific POI in mind to try to bring charges against? That's what the GJ does, is to decide if there is enough evidence to indict. Of course, ultimately it's the DA's decision whether to issue that indictment or not, no matter what the GJ determines. I'm going by what we found out recently in the Jon Benet Ramsey case. The DA refused to indict the Ramseys, for lack of evidence.

Is the interviewee able to pick and choose what is edited out and shown to the public?

I've read of interviewees agreeing to an interview only if certain topics are not addressed. As far as final edit approval, I doubt it. Not saying it's impossible, but I would think only people with lots of clout, say politicians maybe, would be able to get that kind of arrangement. That sounds like a good question for MB on twitter.

A different house with a familiar person who might feel disrespected at some point and an accident occurs?

No Diff home with no one there.
I thought someone said he used to take the boys to his bosses house and hide them from Elaine whats to say he didnt pull this trick again.

I want to think this boy alive out there but its very hard to think of a how could he be alive scenario.

Can somebody ask MB if she is going to YouTube the unedited footage soon ?

BBM Usually yes. I don't have any idea how much GJs differ from state to state, but GJs can be called as an investigative tool to compel testimony from witnesses who are not fully cooperating. All MOO

Question?
Him being 13 can he leave the airport alone or does dad have to be in the terminal to get him? I would hope someone has to be there.

MelissaBlasius were Mark Redwine or Elaine compensated for their inviews and was inview provided to police?

answer - We never pay for interviews. We have not provided them to police

https://twitter.com/MelissaBlasius

that was me who asked her those questions....I cannot believe that law enforcement were not provided with the interview...that knocks me over...perhaps law enforcement first has to get a warrant?

Wasn't it said that MR still owned his last home and that it was a rental property? Maybe that was a rumor, and not confirmed? I can't seem to keep anything straight anymore in this case. If true, surely that was checked out.

Who would be there to stop Dylan leaving as he is not a child ?

I remember in the Lisa Irwin investigation, LE subpoenaed the raw footage from interviews. The TV station sought an injunction to block the subpoena, but LE did get the footage. It wasn't immediately after the interviews though. Maybe these things take more time than we think to accomplish. I tend to think in NCIS time, and I don't think that's very realistic.

I would think LE should have applied for a warrant as soon as the interview was known to have taken place. It should not take this long, IMO, if they had.
