Strictly MO - Nick is a channel I would turn on if I were trying to "stage" the home to look as though a child had been there watching TV.

I almost always have a pillow on my couch, what exactly does that say about me? :waitasec: I don't have a gun on my table, but if I had crowds of angry people standing outside my house with signs, people posting hate messages and threats online,received threatening phone calls (which he said he did), and trusted myself not to shoot my foot off, I might consider it. MOO

I understand that, I'm saying that when you know that a reporter is coming over to do an interview, I would believe that you would pick up a bit. Also, would you have a gun for people you are expecting and KNOW that they are not going to harm you?

I know people tease me about OCD, I wouldn't have had a pillow JMHO

To me it is different to possess a gun than it is to have the sitting on a table in full view when a news reporter and her camera crew are there for a scheduled interview. IMO

O/T As a country with gun control i actually find it alarming how U.S treat guns. Its all so casual when actually in the wrong hands they kill people.

Not aimed at just you, i have seen other posts on gun in other threads as well. Its almost like people are talking about candy :cow:

No I would say to have a gun sitting on the table while you are doing an interview about your missing child is not in any way shape or form 'normal' even here in the U.S.

Uploading video files can take forever. The interview might need to be broken out into a couple of files. She's probably feeling pressured knowing there are so many impatiently waiting. We are so lucky she's even willing to do it.

Regarding his backpack, and the fact that people are questioning why he would take everything he had bought with him when (if) he left his dads on the Monday, perhaps we are over-estimating what was in it.

Wasn't he filmed on airport cctv wearing the backpack? Or am I imagining that? But I seem to recall that it wasn't particularly big or bulky. We know he didn't have anything other than hand luggage, so if he had clothes and toiletries etc back at his dads, then I would guess the only things he had with him in that backpack would be the things that teenagers usually cart around with them - mobile phone and charger, ipod, maybe a snack, magazine etc. So, saying he took everything he'd packed for his trip, could simply be handful of small items, and not necessarily a weeks worth of clothing.
