So somebody could ' bang him in the head' ........ poor choice of words MR !

  • #402
So notifying ER is when ' pretty much all he## broke loose'.

  • #403
wtf? MR says Elaine doesn't want him to know where she works? That's just ... that's never been a mystery, has it?

Ok watching this something is really striking me. In the first video in video store and the thursday night clip last week, both times I thought MR appeared drunk because of red eyes........ but now I can see today what the problem is. He may have a bad eye or an old eye injury ( perhaps grandma kknows) but his right eye has red rim around the bottom and his left eye DOES NOT , so when you can see both eyes, that look is not there . But in all of his video clips so far the camera is more to his right side which shows the red eye more ! His other eye is perfectly clear. Also I want to add he's made zero speech stumbles or slurs so I think the rumor that he' a big drinker ( which i admit to be heavily leaning towards) is not true or at least doesnt' appear to be the case in this piece.
Also want to point out how many times he says ' we' and ' our ' son , not MY or ME !

This makes me think he's bothered her at work in the past OR shes' afraid he would bother her at work, so just didn't want him to know.

I can't determine anything from these interviews as to WTH happened to Dylan. I never suspected his mom for a second, and I still can't clear MR in my head, so nothing has changed for me.

MR really shows a lot of anger re ER's job. They had take-out, he says got back 8:15 8:30 ish. McDonald 7:22 so this seems late to me getting back.

MR watched the whole movie. He sent Dylan text messages in the morning to see if he wanted anything picked up. MR went to work over a payroll issue, then his lawyer's office a they were in the process of filing papers re the divorce.

WHAT PAPERS? I thought they divorced in 2008?

Regarding cell service...

"He was texting on the couch after we were here watching the movie, he was over there texting or playin a video game or somethin, I just assumed he was texting. Cuz it's not likely he can't ever get service up here, it's just very sporadic. You know one place he might be he can't get service and then he could step, take a step to the left or a step to the right and wha la, all of the sudden he has service. And the two places he told me he could get service was from the corner of the couch, where he was sittin, (Mark points to the corner where the TV is now at) which has be changed, but is right by the TV there and my room..."

So from this I got that he has since rearranged his furniture. Hmmm...
(Just something I noticed)

Possibly. She didn't know where he worked either (NG interview). Could be part of the hostility between the two-- neither of them wanting the other to know where they work.

Just got a freaking chill when he said one of the movies we would watch........"the night".....you know we were together.

WTF

This was the one thing that stood out to me most!

Also after trying to text Dylan Monday morning while he was out running errands he comes home, Dylan is gone and he takes a nap until 2:30? Seriously? Then up and went by Dylan's friend T that lives at the lake but nobody home.

When Mark is speaking out about a would be kidnapper his whole demeanor does not change . No raised voice no anger or anything .

Would that be consider normal ?

Yes thats what it sounds like. Kind of odd. Not that people don't rearrange furniture but rather odd during a time when your child is missing.

He also seemed to want to put emphasis on the RSO that lives just right around the corner. Implied that he didn't think LE investigated him well enough in just a short 24 period.

If Dylan sent a text from his cellphone at 9:37pm, then his mother would have seen it on the cellphone records. However, she did not. Elaine has been consistent that the last known communication via cellphone from Dylan was around 8:00pm.

What is ambivalent about this?

Why wouldn't Elaine see the 9:37 pm text sent from Dylan's cellphone on her Verizon bill? That makes no sense to me. I go online and look at up to date calls/texts both incoming/outgoing all the time.

The comment "he would come to me before he would go to his mom" is strange, and it seems likely that it is untrue. But it also seems that it is what every parent would like to think-- seems like something both parents would say in a divorce, that they are closer to the child.

I think it is untrue, but I am not surprised that a sometimes-absent father with a missing child is going back and embellishing in his mind how close the relationship was.

Maybe his furniture got rearranged when the police searched his house. Things got moved around

He also made it real clear that he kept close tabs on Dylan's whereabouts and it wasn't unusual for him to show up where Dylan was at to check up on him. But he can't reach him via text all Monday morning and he comes home and Dylan and his belongings are gone and he takes a nap from 11:30 to 2:30?

I have no logical explanation for this.

I know that those papers (if not already filed) can be deemed a part of Attorney-Client Privilege but can't the court somehow compel the attorney to produce them? Obviously if they were filed they would be public record but what if they weren't?
