Ok watching this something is really striking me. In the first video in video store and the thursday night clip last week, both times I thought MR appeared drunk because of red eyes........ but now I can see today what the problem is. He may have a bad eye or an old eye injury ( perhaps grandma kknows) but his right eye has red rim around the bottom and his left eye DOES NOT , so when you can see both eyes, that look is not there . But in all of his video clips so far the camera is more to his right side which shows the red eye more ! His other eye is perfectly clear. Also I want to add he's made zero speech stumbles or slurs so I think the rumor that he' a big drinker ( which i admit to be heavily leaning towards) is not true or at least doesnt' appear to be the case in this piece.
Also want to point out how many times he says ' we' and ' our ' son , not MY or ME !

Not that I remember, but I will look at some pictures when I get home tonight, I have a meeting so it will be later.

Just my opinion,

I feel that I am seeing real emotion well up in MR's eyes. Doesn't mean he is not involved, he could be involved in something that happened to Dylan and still be feeling the sadness of losing his son.

I know that those papers (if not already filed) can be deemed a part of Attorney-Client Privilege but can't the court somehow compel the attorney to produce them? Obviously if they were filed they would be public record but what if they weren't?

IDK, I believe he said his lawyer was in the "process" of filing. He did use the word "divorce."

azgrandma you know Mark , is this how he normally talks and behaves ?

I think IF MR is involved and it was not intentional, then he would show real emotion.

The a couple things I found, he seems to want to push that timeline up on when they got home 8:15 would be late, given they got take out & ate on the way home 8:30 would have been about 1:08 mins. GMAB. I could also really see his deep anger on several occasions one being about ER's job, etc. but NOT towards the abductor.:banghead:

Just got a freaking chill when he said one of the movies we would watch........"the night".....you know we were together.

WTF

I jotted down this quote in my notes. Did not like the hesitancy AT ALL.

Could the comment about "when he's with me, it's me and him with the exception of his friends" & something about no other people in & out..

Could MR be referring to any lady friends? Like, when it's me & him I spend time with him or let him be with his friends... I don't bring around girlfriends/friends.

Yeah, he banged the kids heads together once when they were fighting amongst themselves.

If you don't mind me asking, did he ever use physical means to discipline them other than this one time? Was he a spanker or a smack upside the head type of parent?

Yeah, he banged the kids heads together once when they were fighting amongst themselves.

I also took it to mean, bang his head...knock some sense into him :furious:

I can't go there right now....what a choice of words to use with your son missing...

He also made it real clear that he kept close tabs on Dylan's whereabouts and it wasn't unusual for him to show up where Dylan was at to check up on him. But he can't reach him via text all Monday morning and he comes home and Dylan and his belongings are gone and he takes a nap from 11:30 to 2:30?

Yeah, strange...if he went to bed 10:30ish, he would have had plenty of sleep.
Maybe it was a BIG night jmo

"to change what has been done and bring him home"

Sounds like MR is also referring to a scenario where Dylan would be held alive. JMO but I wouldn't say "change what has been done" if referring to recovering someone who is no longer with us.

I did too! Not just the hesitancy but the wording. The other thing I found really disturbing was he said he took a nap when he got home around 11:30 - 2:30. Really? You can't get ahold of your child and he and his belongings are gone when you get home and you take a nap?

Also we know he was at McDonalds at 7:22. He said they drove through and I would guess the 7:22 time provided by LE was the time on the receipt. But you don't get home until 8:15-8:30? This to me is when the timeline provided by MR starts getting sketchy.

From what I remember, and this is going to be hard to say without sounding bad. Yeah, that's how he sounded when he talked but not everyday type of talking, the mannerisms etc. seemed familiar. He does have emotions and I didn't see any. Not one. There were perhaps two times that he started to tear up, but it didn't seem right. IMO he wasn't talking passionately, he was talking matter of fact.
Towards the end, when he's talking about the parks and they are just bs'ing, that sounded normal.

One thing we now know is that MR says he was aware of the missing fishing pole before he set out looking for Dylan. One thing that stood out for me were his comments on going on to Bayfield. He says, words to the effect, that he doesn't know where all Dylan's friends live, but enough to point him in the right direction. He then says the first place he went, there was R and N at N's house. R didn't text that he was at N's house until 10 AM that morning. I'm not sure if he meant that he went first to R's house or another friend's home, but he does say the first place I went was to N's home All MOO.

He was both, a spanker, a smack up side the head. Yes, he did it more than once, in answer to someone elses question. The kids were standing there and he klonked their heads together, you could hear it.
