From what I remember, and this is going to be hard to say without sounding bad. Yeah, that's how he sounded when he talked but not everyday type of talking, the mannerisms etc. seemed familiar. He does have emotions and I didn't see any. Not one. There were perhaps two times that he started to tear up, but it didn't seem right. IMO he wasn't talking passionately, he was talking matter of fact.
Towards the end, when he's talking about the parks and they are just bs'ing, that sounded normal.

Thank You :)

I just dont see any real emotion here , its so strange. Even when he talks about not trying hard to wake Dylan up - the tone never changes. It seems strange.

So notifying ER is when ' pretty much all he## broke loose'.

Not the fact that he was missing was "hell" but ER being upset about it was "hell"?

  • #443
He also said he went by T's house who lives right on the lake before heading to Bayfield but nobody was home. He says he did that after he realized the fishing pole was missing. He also said it wasn't unusual for Dylan to go to the nearby campground and river.

I remember Desiree saying that Terri H. was surprised she was driving up when she was told Kyron was missing. Kind of reminds me of MR claiming all hell broke loose once ER was made aware of Dylan being missing.

Tks Melissa, now where' s Bender?
Also didn't she say she spent 2 hrs at MR 's house? But only
filmed for 40 minutes?

MR seems most emotional when talking about memories with Dylan. & not emotional when talking about the timeline of this most recent visit.

Could it be because he is inauthentic? Likely. Could it be because he has gone over this story a million times already? Possibly.

When he got home he didn't think much about Dylan not being there...

"I didn't think a whole lot of it."

"I layed down and took a nap..."

"It was probably about 2:30 by the time I realized Dylan's still not home and I so I'm thinking, well if he aint gonna return my text messages and I aint hearin my phone ringing cuz he aint callin me, I need to go find that boy. So I stop by his friend T's house down across from the marina up here at the lake and nobody answered the door. So I'm thinkin well I didn't see his fishing pole you know and I thought maybe he'd wandered off and went fishin. Maybe he was with T at the lake. So I'm driving by the lake looking for him and T and didn't see anything as I was goin down to Bayfield to check with R, who I found at his friend F house and as soon as I went to F
cuz I don't know where all of them live, but I knew where a couple of them lived..."

"First words out of their mouth, we haven't heard from Dylan all day. That's when it hit me, that somethin wasn't right. And I immediately went to the Marshall's office in Bayfield."

Yes thats what it sounds like. Kind of odd. Not that people don't rearrange furniture but rather odd during a time when your child is missing.

He also seemed to want to put emphasis on the RSO that lives just right around the corner. Implied that he didn't think LE investigated him well enough in just a short 24 period.

mmm, BJD rearranged her furniture also, after Hailey disappeared.

So why didn't he go there first KWIM? Especially as he seemed to know about the RSO.

I still think even if you had gone over the story 100m times , its your son and you would show some anger and emotion that somebody has come in and taken your son from you and he could be dead or god knows what else.

Where is some real emotion here for his son?!

Lynsey Pug ‏@lynseypug
@MelissaBlasius Did LE actually say the last text was SENT rather than rec'd? I didn't see SENT in the LPCSO Press Release.

Melissa Blasius ‏@MelissaBlasius
@lynseypug I double-checked. It was SENT @9news #dylanredwine

THANK YOU! :yourock:

I really wanted this confirmed, because it makes such a difference to my way of thinking. Thank you for asking and getting an answer.

If Dylan sent a text from his cellphone at 9:37pm, then his mother would have seen it on the cellphone records. However, she did not. Elaine has been consistent that the last known communication via cellphone from Dylan was around 8:00pm.

What is ambivalent about this?

Why wouldn't Elaine see the 9:37 pm text sent from Dylan's cellphone on her Verizon bill? That makes no sense to me. I go online and look at up to date calls/texts both incoming/outgoing all the time.

The last I knew, the 9:37 p.m. time referred to "an electronic communication"--was it confirmed to be a text message?

Types of electronic communication (which at its very basic definition means using a computer to communicate): email, instant messaging (via many options), video chat (like Skype, Gmail, iChat, Windows Live, chat rooms, news groups), blogs, social networking (like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Myspace), and who knows what else.

I am behind in reading this and the last thread fully, so I surely could have missed the citation showing to what exactly the 9:37 p.m. time was referring.

TIA.

"to change what has been done and bring him home"

Sounds like MR is also referring to a scenario where Dylan would be held alive. JMO but I wouldn't say "change what has been done" if referring to recovering someone who is no longer with us.

Referencing an alleged abductor, MR says:

"..whoever is responsible for this has enough compassion in her heart..

He was both, a spanker, a smack up side the head. Yes, he did it more than once, in answer to someone elses question. The kids were standing there and he klonked their heads together, you could hear it.

I hate to keep asking and if you don't want to go into detail I completely understand, but did you ever feel his means of discipline was excessive besides the time of banging the 2 boys heads together?

I guess the reason I'm asking is because I still feel that IF he did something it was likely an argument or discipline scenario gone bad. For example a smack upside the head where maybe he used too much force. Things like this can happen if you hit somebody in the right spot.

THERE ARE NO FACTS STATING MR DISCIPLINED DYLAN IN ANY WAY THAT NIGHT SO NO I HAVE NO LINKS. I'M JUST THINKING OF THINGS THAT COULD HAVE POSSIBLY HAPPENED.

MR does seem to wind his answers into details that don't seem relevant.

But, then again, we have been critical of him for not giving enough detail in other interviews.

It is so awkward when the reporter gives a super fake "chuckle" anytime MR mentions tensions between him & Elaine.

MB, the reporter, tweeted that she double-checked and it was a text message SENT from Dylan's CELLPHONE.

Now, I don't know who she double-checked with...LE, her notes, another reporter/intern that misinterpretted LE, or what. So take it for what it's worth to you. :moo:

ETA: this has totally thrown my theory off. i no longer know who or what i believe.

You're welcome, but I didn't ask. I don't twitter - I just search on there on different cases.

I'm certainly don't disagree with you. As someone who is always told I have a heart of stone and lack emotion, I hate to say it means 100% that he is lying.

But I agree it does appear inauthentic and make me wonder if he knows so much more...

This is from my timeline a few pages back that I wrote while listening,,, in other words, no link ;)

'''MR can't concentrate on one thing for 2 hrs. Likes sit coms better, 30 min.
MR was ' pacing the floor" at some point , taking care of things at the ' kitchen table ' :O
MR was tired, DR was tired, spent most of the day travelling.
10:30 ish movie is done. MR Runs up and goes to bed. ''''

This is a huge contradiction. Unable to sit still and watch a whole movie, up PACING the floor at some point,,,,,, indicates nervous energy or anxiety or excitement or too much coffee or too much on your mind OR something else MOOIMHOATJ!!!!!!!! Followed immediately by we we're both so tired, i went up to bed.

WHAT THE HECK !?!?!?!?!?!
