Finally! Something that Elaine & Mark agree on!!! They both said that they have every reason to believe that Dylan wouldn't have bothered changing his clothes Monday morning.

This is a random thought about the gun on the table during the interview... It could be an airsoft gun. Alot of the friends of my 13 year old have them and they look pretty real. They are popular with kids that age

What happened to NERF football????

I just thought of this, there was nothing on the tape re the poly. I wonder if there is more tape coming or if she called & asked?

Great point! She said she had 2 1/2 hrs of interviews and we only have access to 1 hour so far.

MB, the reporter, tweeted that she double-checked and it was a text message SENT from Dylan's CELLPHONE.

Now, I don't know who she double-checked with...LE, her notes, another reporter/intern that misinterpretted LE, or what. So take it for what it's worth to you. :moo:

ETA: this has totally thrown my theory off. i no longer know who or what i believe.

I'm not saying MB is wrong, but I have a hard time with the idea that this SENT TEXT was sent from Dylan's cellphone and his Mom cannot see this. We know that the carrier is Verizon. Can you see text details online when you are a Verizon customer or would you have to get them to send you the detail?

Could be. I think the point is if you were doing an interview about your missing child wouldn't you put things like that away?

Jumping off my own post and sorry to mods this thread seems to have taken on more of a ' scanner' thread quality because of the ' breaking' sort of news with the vids just being uploaded but my brain is spinning and smoking ! :)

If you've been out of town for days on the road and drive clear to the airport , then go shopping for food, then stop at mcdonalds, then tell your son its too late to go to his friends house, then drive another 45 minutes home, one would think you might be exhausted . In fact MR said he's exhausted at this point. What would cause you to be up pacing about instead of sitting comfortably , even chilling OUT with your son on the couch, in anticipation of winding down for bed. THINK! What would give you that type of nervous, excessive adrenaline at such a time ?!?!?!?!?!

Maybe he finds it hard to switch off after 14 hour days?

I find it odd that they arrived at home around 8:15 or so and his cell phone went dead around 8. hmmm

Did anyone notice MR indicate that since Dylan is a "peacekeeper", & "very much like that with him (MR)" MR is saying that if Dylan were frustrated, annoyed, etc he may not show it. But rather, "tell him what he wants to hear".

MR does not indicate any anger, frustration, upset with Dylan on Sunday night. It's possible Dylan felt this way but was hiding it from him.

Referencing an alleged abductor, MR says:

"..whoever is responsible for this has enough compassion in her heart..

:what::what::what:

good catch...gonna have to go back and listen

Thats an interesting thought. And what if this 9:37 message is something about getting a ride...would explain why dr didn't jump out of bed and start texting people...maybe he already had a plan...just an idea

I was thinking the same thing. No need to text anyone because you had already arranged for a ride to come pick you up. No need to jump up and go with Dad because you already had a ride arranged. Makes a lot of sense to me. Get up, eat breakfast, and then sit and watch tv until your ride comes.

Did they test the cereal bowl to be sure DR's dna was on it? Or had MR already washed it?

I don't sense any urgency from MR (in regards to finding Dylan ASAP)

Anyone think it was a little strange how MR went on and on he wanted to make sure they had everything & he didn't want to go back & forth to town so he was texting Dylan to see if they needed anything before he returned. Well, hello he was going to turn around & drive Dylan to Bayfield, then probably pick him up the next day. That made no sense at me at all. What would have made sense to me is Dylan going to his friend's house after the airport & picked-up after the errands.

Well if it is true that the 9:37 communication was a text from DR's phone, it obviously didn't go dead around 8:00 and if it did and the 9:37 came from Ipod or something else what does it prove? jmo

Also ER said she's never had a problem reaching DR when he's at that house with cell phone reception. MR just says there are only 2 very small spots within the house where he could get a signal. fwiw
