Anyone think it was a little strange how MR went on and on he wanted to make sure they had everything & he didn't want to go back & forth to town so he was texting Dylan to see if they needed anything before he returned. Well, hello he was going to turn around & drive Dylan to Bayfield, then probably pick him up the next day. That made no sense at me at all. What would have made sense to me is Dylan going to his friend's house after the airport & picked-up after the errands.

And apparently it was up to Dylan to decide what they were going to do that week. MR says he didn't have anything purchased for Thanksgiving. Considering posters had questions about that, now we have that answered.

Bayfield and Durango are not the same direction. jmo

Could be! I can't figure out whether I think it was the content of the 9:37 text or the time & location that was most significant to LE. Seems like it was significant in some way since they have yet to release any detail about the message & seem to have hidden the existence of the message initially.

Reading and try to catch up! So, if this has already been stated I apologize.

I think the 9:37 time is significant. I think they know who the text was to/from. I think they know what the text said. I think they released it to let the person who was texting DR at that time know that they know what was going on. Early on this person could have denied knowing anything, but now that their evidence is back LE knows more now, and they are letting the person(s) communicating with DR at that time know it.

But Bayfield presumably has stores to purchase things from.

OK, LE said they found Dylans' IPOD email account.
Could he have used that to send a text via his phone#

Would it show up on the bill

I am lost ..dont do any of this techie or texting stuff..ignore if a realllyyy stupid question LOL

I find it interesting that when MB questions MR about whether he believes Dylan to be alive MR goes on to say that he's gotta believe "Dylan is out there, and he's safe. . . "

^^ I can definitely understand a parent thinking there child is still 'out there' and alive. But safe? Why would you think a child you believe to be abducted is safe?

Apparently reporter claims the message was on a cell phone.

This is from my timeline a few pages back that I wrote while listening,,, in other words, no link ;)

'''MR can't concentrate on one thing for 2 hrs. Likes sit coms better, 30 min.
MR was ' pacing the floor" at some point , taking care of things at the ' kitchen table ' :O
MR was tired, DR was tired, spent most of the day travelling.
10:30 ish movie is done. MR Runs up and goes to bed. ''''

This is a huge contradiction. Unable to sit still and watch a whole movie, up PACING the floor at some point,,,,,, indicates nervous energy or anxiety or excitement or too much coffee or too much on your mind OR something else MOOIMHOATJ!!!!!!!! Followed immediately by we we're both so tired, i went up to bed.

WHAT THE HECK !?!?!?!?!?!

Does not add up! JMO

Referencing an alleged abductor, MR says:

"..whoever is responsible for this has enough compassion in her heart..

It brought me back to wondering if MR knows where Dylan is and that the "her" could be someone who he suspects has taken and/or hidden him, or who helped MR hide him. (JMO)

It is eerily similar imo to ER's statement in her uncut video:

and I just hope and pray to the person who has Dylan, to the person who assisted in Dylan’s disappearance

So notifying ER is when ' pretty much all he## broke loose'.

I am not sure how he expected her to react to her child missing.

Jumping off my own post and sorry to mods this thread seems to have taken on more of a ' scanner' thread quality because of the ' breaking' sort of news with the vids just being uploaded but my brain is spinning and smoking ! :)

If you've been out of town for days on the road and drive clear to the airport , then go shopping for food, then stop at mcdonalds, then tell your son its too late to go to his friends house, then drive another 45 minutes home, one would think you might be exhausted . In fact MR said he's exhausted at this point. What would cause you to be up pacing about instead of sitting comfortably , even chilling OUT with your son on the couch, in anticipation of winding down for bed. THINK! What would give you that type of nervous, excessive adrenaline at such a time ?!?!?!?!?!

And at the end of the video, MR points out that he'd do anything for Dylan and only very rarely says no to him. Yet he said no Sunday night.

I don't sense any urgency from MR (in regards to finding Dylan ASAP)

I totally disagree. And I thought that interview was very disturbing especially when he said that the thought of DR being gone just ate you up from the inside out. paraphrising. But, I know that feeling and he was totally spot on. jmo

Sure did. And why did he, considering he had all these appointment the next morning? Payroll issues, visiting his lawyer?

  • #494
Also ER said she's never had a problem reaching DR when he's at that house with cell phone reception. MR just says there are only 2 very small spots within the house where he could get a signal. fwiw

...which are now covered up with rearranged furniture?

Bayfield and Durango are not the same direction. jmo

But he also said, paraphrased, that you don't want to drive to Durango or Bayfield every day. Also, the way I understood his tentative plans for the week, it sound like he was planning for Dylan to spend time with his friends after Thanksgiving, not before. I still want to know if N's house was really the first place he went when he got to Bayfield since R didn't text the change of location until Monday morning.

  • #497
Haven't they been divorced since 2008? I could see this if the divorce had happened recently, but after this long. jmo

Some of them never give up, but IMO, girls are worse about playing one parent off the other. But some boys will do that too. Some of them never give up hoping their parents will get back together or at the least, they will leave the present spouse/partner and find somebody they like.

Isn't that what he said on the tape? That he went to Fernando's house right away when he got to Bayfield?

can one of our tweeters tweet MB and ask if she is going to post LE and Dylan's friends video....and is that all for MR? (hint, hint)

TIA!!!!

  • #500
I am unable to watch the video right now due to a slow connection at my current location. :( Thanks to all who have quoted, paraphrased, etc. so far.

Did MR make any pleas to the potential abductor(s)?

He took a NAP?!
