Did MB say when this interview was done?

  • #642
Did I understand MR correctly that he went to the Marshall's office well before the previously stated 4:30 time?

I don't think so.

It's pretty clear that this individual struggles w/misplaced anger issues, and, unfortunately, cannot resist using this horrific situation to continue to lash out @ his ex-spouse.

The most striking example of this is the comment about how Dylan gravitates to him moreso than his mother, even though she is the child's primary caregiver.

Sorry guys, but this individual is a problem. Probably always has been and always will be. And, the fact that every single circumstance can 'possibly, maybe, could be' explained away - even if not practical nor reasonable - does not change that fact.

No person is perfect, and, if folks were to pick our actions apart in the minutest of detail, no matter who we are, he/she will find credibility issues. But, there comes a point when an outside observer - one who has no personal investment in the guilt or the innocence of the individual in question - comes to a conclusion based upon reasonability and practicality.

Someone (in law enforcement, I suppose) needs to go after Mr. Redwine hard and get the answers which are needed to find this child.
That isn't at all clear to me. I see a lot more anger on here and FB than I do in his video. I would hope that appearing angry isn't a good reason for anyone to "go after" anyone hard, not even LE. MOO

Wonder if there should be a separate thread for birthday acknowledgements, etc...in case ER or other family members wants to read them, without reading...everything else. JMO

I would think they'd be more than welcome on the FB page if people don't want them reading this thread. MOO

Who does not want them reading here? I think it can be painful for family members to read theories here, not a matter of not wanting them.

I don't think so.

I can't listen right now because hubs is watching NCIS, but the way I remember it is him leaving the house around 3PM, going to T's house, driving around the lake then driving to Bayfield, and going to N's house so I don't think it could have much earlier than 4:30. But like I said, I can't listen again at the moment. All MOO

all i need to know is that he's safe, where he's at and how to get ahold of him and it's like me to pop in on him and check where he says he's at - paraphasing of part of Mark's interview

But why did he feel it was alright to come home and take a nap when he had been texting Dylan while he was running errands? For some reason he wanted to get ahold of him and when he got home it was okay that Dylan and everything he brought was gone?

Ryan Nava: (time 6:43 p.m. Nov. 18) Im in pagosa coming

Dylan Redwine: Cant come srry ill hang tommarow

Ryan: Ok

Ryan: (time 7:09 p.m. Nov. 18) Why

Dylan: idk

Ryan: (time 7:45 p.m. Nov. 18) Did your dad say no

Dylan: (time 8:01 p.m. Nov. 18) yea

So Ryan sent Dylan a text at 7:45 but Dylan didn't respond until 8:01. I wonder how long the drive is from McDonalds, Durango to the Dam?

Ok, you're right. It just seemed from the wording that he visited the marshal's earlier. I went back and listened and when he said there was a delay in the marshal and the sheriff, that's what threw me.

I find the nap thing to be totally perplexing.

Has someone tweeted MB and asked where the rest of the over 2 hours of uncut video of MR are? I do not have Twitter.....
I think if she claimed to have over 2 hours of footage that she was willing to release, there should be some accountability now. And please someone/everyone don't throw the "we should be grateful she is giving us anything" at me.... I am grateful. But if you say you will give the full uncut, unedited video....then I expect exactly that. So far, that is not what we have.

JMO MOO and all that jazz

I just got in from work & watched MR's interview.

Couple of things...at first I was struck by the conflicting accounts of Dylan's relationships....ER said Dylan & MR didn't know each other very well & that MR hadn't bonded with Dylan much in the past couple of years...and of course the report about the scowling face Dylan replied to her text with. Yet, MR talks about how they were very close & that they bonded more than Dylan & his mom had and that this closeness bothered ER...or something akin to that.

Having been divorced with kids of my own I do recall how sometimes kids can play one parent against the other....so I guess the conflicting statements aren't something to really be concerned about.

What *did* concern me very much though ---was when MR was discussing Dylan's backpack. He spoke as if he knew exactly what was in it....like a couple of changes of clothes. And he specifically said that Dylan hadn't brought any of his games & stuff with him that he usually brings. There's no mention that he & Dylan discussed what he brought or didn't bring, or discussed what he had in his backpack. So, how would he know, unless he looked through the backpack???

discussion of the backpack from TxJan1971's transcript:

I mean, it’s a backpack… my guess is he had a few changes of clothes. You know there’s talk about his cell phone charger being in it. There’s not much in it. He didn’t bring his video games—he didn’t bring any of the things that he would do while he was here with me.

So when he went looking for Dylan at either R or F's house, it sounds like Mark wasn't sure which boy lived at that house.
