I finally got home from work after a 10 hour day. I really wanted to go to Dylan's celebration at Jessica Ridgeway park tonight but needed to come home and check on my kiddo. Anyway, I feel like I'm on edge and grumpy. Seeing that false report about finding Dylan's body and all the weirdness on facebook is not helping the grumpy factor. I want this boy to be found but at the same time I don't since the current searches are searching for his body. Does this even make any sense?

My 9 year old asked me today who Dylan Redwine was. He uses my computer to do homework and I always have a tab to this page. I didn't know what to say other than Dylan is a very special boy who is lost and needs to come home. Happy birthday, Dylan. Please please come home. You have a part of my heart forever.

I went to Walmart today and I found myself looking around at any teenager.....I kept hearing Mark saying, drop him off at Walmart.....

My heart breaks for his family and friends and for all of us here at WS....we may not always agree on everything but we all agree that Dylan needs to come home

Part of my heart forever is right. I knew for the last few weeks I've been spending way too much time on this thread and I've followed plenty of cases in th past but not to this extent , nowhere close. When the ' hoax' of a body found showed up , I just felt almost like ..... well this is stupid but I'll say it, I felt as if something had happened to someone I really physically knew and loved, even in that split second. When ER in her interview said Dylan is everybody's child now , the whole country's child ( paraphrasing) I think that is what she meant. So many people have a vested interest in seeing him smile again. I was glad that she said that and it means even though her heart is breaking she can feel the love of everyone who's praying and hoping along with her. But it's got to end happy......it just has to !
