Uh oh. Am I not supposed to be posting about the PIs? I apologize if I broke any rules. Mods please delete, and I'm sorry for causing you extra work :blushing:

Please, I wasn't implying you weren's supposed to be posting about the PIs. I just wondered if the dog lady had also been sleuthed. Just wanting information if she had been.

WOW. THANK YOU FOR THAT INCREDIBLE ANALYSIS!!! And I believe he was the most evasive and deflective in addressing (he certainly didnt answer it) that last question. In other words I have not heard him give a reliable denial of involvement in Dylan's disappearance.

yes, he doesn't deny actually having done something. His extra explanations and justifications are only present when discussing what happened Sunday night after the movie, so I think that's when something happened.

No idea about this. This link does seem to indicate that perhaps the child support situation may have been altered when it went from joint custody to sole custody. Perhaps that was something that MR was working on with his lawyer that day since he had to also go in to see someone at his employer's office regarding payroll. Perhaps he had to get paperwork from them to take to the lawyer? Perhaps he was working at having a new support payment reduced based on his income? Really have no idea.

Also wondered why he had to make a call to a property management company regarding a check he sent them. Would this be in regards to the other home in Bayfield? Wouldn't he be getting checks from a home he owned but is possibly renting? Again...no idea how this works. :waitasec:

http://www.marrisonlaw.com/child-support-and-joint-custody-in-colorado.html

I had renters move out a couple months ago and hired a property management agency to handle things for me. I had give them money to put into a escrow account for repairs, bills, maintenance and advertising.

Yep , and lets be honest most people have to work. Its not a new thing and yet people still have children and manage to raise them and see them :)

She didnt move out of state!
He has 2 trucks not like he has no transportation!
Take a ride go see you son!

I have to say that I have thought about the sightings frequently. They were quickly dismissed as not being Dylan even though one was by a person who supposedly knew DR. Just another strange occurence in this case. jmo

That's not strange. I've seen cases where an individual caught on tape was thought to be a missing person in error. There are always reported sightings in a case like this.

I agree!

You really can not put a good spin on the fact Dylan lives locally and Mark barely sees him but then suddenly he moves and then Mark suddenly has this desire to see him.. So why not do it when it was much easier on Dylan ?

Okay thanks mck. I didn't think you were implying it. It was just when I saw the word 'sleuthing' in your post I remembered the sleuthing rules, and got scared I might have broken some with the stuff I was posting. I still don't understand all the rules here, and I get nervous I'm going to break them because I don't understand them.

YES, very good points!!!! I have been thinking the same.

2 things are incriminating MR, IMO (besides being the last one to see DR and seeing his atty Monday AM):

1. the change of story about Sunday night and the lack of a clear narrative from MR about that time frame, as well as the inclusion if extraneous and unnecessary information when MR discusses Sunday night. it's as if he can't remember what happened, or he's thinking about something that really happened and saying something else, trying to make it sound plausible.

2. taking a nap on Monday when he can't locate his son. that tells me that timeframe is when something else happened. he has no other alibi for that time other than - a nap.

Where is this information coming from that Mark barely saw Dylan when he lived locally?

MR"The most important thing is for Dylan to come home. I know that is important to his mom...<slight pause then voice goes up> and its important to me too"

and IMO, this is why he hasn't been talking. the more he talks, the more holes show up. whatever he's done can't be proved, UNLESS HE OPENS HIS MOUTH. he will give himself away by talking. and that's why he won't answer ER's questions.

I know quite a few people that work 6 days a week, 12 plus hours a day. I know people that are required to work on the road and be gone for days and weeks at a time. When they get a day off, it may only be one day. I would have to know more about MR's work schedule to really form an opinion on whether he made the choice not to see him as often as he did or it was job related. Employers give employees so many weeks vacation a year, so if this is the only time he had more than a day at a time free, then I could see how it would be difficult to MR to see Dylan if there was a significant distance between them. If you have one day home and your out the next, it would be hard to take Dylan overnight even if you lived close.

I just can't form judgement on how much time MR spent with Dylan, without knowing his job situation over the last several years, in more detail.

Well it makes a difference in where it could have been sent from. An iPod requires a wifi connection. A cell phone doesn't.

never have i seen it said that DR SENT a text at 9:37. it says the "last electronic communication" which tells me that HIS PHONE RECV'D THAT TEXT AT 9:37 AND THEN WENT ON WALKABOUT, never to be ping, receive any incoming data or send outgoing data.
I DON'T BELIEVE DR SENT A TEXT AT 9:37 PM.

Thank you very much, rebeccaeee! So Rocky Mountain Invest. has only been in existence for about a month.

I hope Mark checked out this guy's background. So many PIs jump to try to get involved in missing child cases, and it's so important that families make sure they're licensed, experienced, have a good reputation, and have experience especially in missing person cases. There are so many exploiters who try to attach themselves to the families of the missing when the families are in a vulnerable and desperate position.

Not saying anything negative about MO - I don't know his background yet. Just saying I hope Mark checked him out. Same as I hope Elaine checked out Bobby Brown and made sure he has experience in missing person cases.

Well Isnt Bobby Brown the one that works with dog the bounty hunter?

So we have not one, but TWO unlicensed, ghost hunting, tv reality show celebrity, young , leather clad ' private eyes' and I use the term as loosely as I would say ' alan quartermaine is a brain surgeon' that are going to help this family find Dylan and bring closure? They dont' want any publicity , but one's opening a new practice and plugging his haunted houses and another is plugging a new show, coincidentally enough about psychics in cold cases. Do I have this right?

Anyone else think things are going to get worse from here ?

Uh oh. This is not good. The K9 group should have called LE first thing. I believe most if not all of them do. :twocents:

A spokesperson for the La Plata County sheriff's office says he was unaware of the K-9 group's offer for help.

He says the department has already used their own K-9's in the search.

http://www.krqe.com/dpp/news/local/central/nm-k-9-group-to-help-search-for-teen

Dont you think that would be the first thing you would do is Call LE and see what you can and cant do?

Is this a real SAR team?

After learning more, I retract the statement that I made earlier about this help being a positive thing. :floorlaugh:

I hope this doesn't just create more drama. The family doesn't need that.

Im sure Mr R can find the time!
