We dont know what went on between these two but they sure seem to dislike each other.
Dylan went missing on Marks watch not Elaines. So yea if he were my ex Id be plenty PO'd myself.

All good points. I'm not going to question her reactions. She's entitled to deal with her pain any way she wishes. But so is he, and to expect him to engage her after she's said what she's said and implied what she's implied is stretching the limits of reason. Again, I wouldn't engage my ex - especially in the public square and on a sensationalistic talk show - if she went off the rails and continued to smear me in public. JMO.

Elaine's fiance offered to pay Mark's wages so that Mark can take the time off work to do the Dr. Phil show.
I would hope that Mark finds a way to go to Dr. Phil and pay his own way. Most men's pride would not allow such a thing.

Actually, the PO said he has been in contact with the Dr. Phil show for 3 WEEKS! What I want to know is what he was waiting for? A money offer? Who hangs around waiting for 3 weeks to go on a talk show without telling anyone else the show was considering putting Dylan's case on the air? This makes no sense. :furious:

Tonto, I'm not a man but I'm empathetic to other people. I have the capabilities of putting myself in someone else's shoes and looking at it from their point of view. IA w/u. I would not engage her after calling him out on national TV that he harmed their child. She put a target on his back and he's the one who has had to live with that target she painted on him, not her.

To go on a show like that with Dr. Phil will psychoanalyze each other them is not going to get their son back, for sure. It's an open forum for both ER and CR to make more digs and more attacks on him. I would not do that if I were him. If he thinks doing it is going to change things and get her to stop accusing him, I doubt it. She's made her agenda perfectly clear. IMO, JMO, MOO and whatever else.

It may not just be his pay at stake but his absence from his job, unexcused. Just because you get the pay doesn't mean your job is secure when you don't show up to work, the work still needs to be done and if he isn't there, his job can be at risk.

No, I was thinking he is backed into a corner by the offer that if that is the reason, it's covered. I don't think he will accept the money at all.

I have to respectfully disagree with you!
If you would not talk to me and if you sent me a TEXT message telling me
my son is missing I would crucify you if I had to to get some answers.
Your not my Husband anymore. Now all that matters is that child out there and Mark was the last one with him he was never seen again.

Hes a man! He can take it. He taken his kids and hid them from their mothers before this why wouldnt she think he wouldnt do it again. His son cory thinks his dad is witholding things too.

This guy scares me its almost like he has something else planned and we are all waiting for the other shoe to drop

I'm not sure he does. In the beginning he said he consulted one, but I don't think he has one. If he did, then he probably would have been present at the interview or would have advise against it. IMO

FWIW, I'm not entirely sure my husband even knows we HAVE a front door. He comes in through the garage whether or not he parks in there. As to why I have no idea, but maybe it's just a "thing" for some people?

All I can say in reference to any of this is that he is very, VERY, lucky that I'm not his ex and Dylan isn't my son because the target on his back would be so large it would span the entire country. I don't think this man understands how much worse this could be for him. ER is restrained as far as I'm concerned. And this is MY OPINION.

I personally think he is maybe one step above Jerry Springer. He pits one side of a family against another. And this family is a perfect candidate for his show. jmo
