This person saw Dylan or this person saw someone with Dylan or he saw someone take Dylan.. Or the biggie what if he is involved.. I have no facts..just chasing theory's in my head. We have no facts to make a case on what has happened to Dylan, we need facts those facts but LE is keeping everything close for a reason and that reason to me is justice to be served.

I mean hopefully he saw something , but I'm not really expecting it.

True, it could be anything or nothing at all. But we can hope it is something that will bring Dylan home.

Just want to add that I have friends that have homes in the area and I know that they jump in their cars and explore the Lake Vallecito area. They drive around the lake and explore the whole area. So I don't think the one way in and one way out applies. There are many tourists or vagrants that could be there. jmo

I wonder why they would say this? BBM Why would they say anyone matching this description who was in the Vallecito area on SUNDAY OR MONDAY, when the tipster saw him on Monday. Do they have reason to believe he was in Vallecito on Sunday too?

La Plata County Sheriff's Office is hoping the man might be a potential witness and not realize it. Anyone matching this description who was in the Vallecito area on Sunday or Monday, Nov. 18 or 19 is asked to contact La Plata Sheriff’s Office.

Why would they say Sunday or Monday? For one thought, it would depend on when he was spotted on Monday morning. As an example, if I saw someone at 6:00am one morning, and they asked where they could find some gas, I might assume the possibility that they had been stranded since the previous night. A time frame spanning two "days".

ETA: Also depending on the time frame, for some people if you say "Sunday night" it includes everything until sunrise the next day. For others, it only goes to midnight. I think they are just covering all bases.

“They didn’t think anything of it at the time, but there was someone looking at rental properties on the same county road that Mark Redwine’s house is on the morning of Nov. 9,” Bender said.

The potential witness is described as a Hispanic man with dark hair between 45 and 50 years old, about 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. The man asked the person interviewed by police where he could find a gas station, Bender said.

I'm wondering if they are saying that police were already aware that someone was looking at rental properties 10 days prior to Dylan's disappearance, and then they get a tip that a man was in the area also on 11/19 looking for rental properties? or did the reporters just get the date wrong?

I think reporter got the date wrong. You know, it was almost 3 months ago. So that's why I am curious as to how someone is going remember the exact date.

I know...I'm always very leery of witness sightings, tips, etc. in cases like this. IMO, the majority of the time they cannot be substantiated.

Me too. I am not sure how LE can substantiate this tip as credible if all they have is someone saying they saw this man.
Especially after all this time.

What I am trying to figure out is how did MO the PI know about this tip before it was even called in to LE over the weekend? He posted on the FMDR page prior to the weekend that there was a hispanic male seen by MR's house early in the morning hours of the 19th that LE was looking for. Hmmm...how would he know this prior to LE knowing this? My hinky meter is running...
