That's not how I understand things. I think that a MSM source that the cell phone "went of the grid" at 8:00 PM and the iPod was in fact the device used to send the 9:37 PM text would be required before it's stated as fact. MOO.

Its not stated as fact!
what was stated was last electronic communication 9:37 not last cell activity
It was stated there was no activity from the cell after 8 pm sunday.

We dont really know but if the cell went silent and not used something else sent that message! Possibly someone else also!

Sure wish I knew:
-Which family member(s) gave Wendy the information that makes her know "exactly" where to begin the search.

-Where this particular location is

-Who she thinks may disturb the evidence at this particular location if the location is made known

BBM

Meantime, the owner of a nonprofit that will search for Dylan knows exactly where she will start after her interviews with family members.

Wendy Kessinger declined to identify the location, however.

“I don’t want to tell you,” she said, because evidence could be moved
.

Kessinger, owner of Special Operations Inc., K-9 Forensics, said she will start searching Sunday.

She volunteered last week to search for Dylan at no charge. She specializes in cadaver searches.

Kessinger met with Elaine, Cory and Mark over the weekend
.

She also is adding a canine search team from Ruidoso, N.M., that is expected to start searching Feb. 19.

BBM in blue.
Do you think that a single family member gave her specific information about a location to search? Perhaps information that the family provided gave her guidance on where to exactly begin to search.

Why do they have to wait to long to search?
Stop talking about it and do it.

Everything in this case is done two or 3 weeks later this young man is missing and needs help now or this K9 team isnt looking for an alive Dylan!

There is not urgency here!

That's why I asked if MSM had reported something that I may have missed. Elaine has stated that the last text from Dylan cell phone was at 8:01 PM. LE hasn't confirmed that and if MB is correct LE say's that the 9:37 PM text was sent via Dylan's cell phone.

That's why I questioned a post stating as fact that the 9:37 PM text was sent from Dylan's Ipod and that meant that Mark has Wi-Fi in his home.

I think that the weather may be a factor with the lady searching with her dogs. That could have delayed her and she may have other commitments that has prevented her coming to Colorado. MOO.

As i read her post she started it with IMO this is why LE......etc I read it differently than u thats all.
I do think it was the I pod that the text was sent from.

I wish we had ping info that might help some.

That's what MB said. She also said she had confirmed it with LE, so I'll accept her word for it. MOO

I am not sure MB ever understood what we were trying to ask her.
So I am not convinced at all that 9:37 pm message was on a cell phone.

"I question why it has taken this long to start scouring the lake because from Day One they have known it is likely he had a fishing pole with him," Redwine, 52, said.
Information he received from the boy's friends suggests that Dylan was hitchhiking when he disappeared, Redwine said.
"It sounds to me like he's not even in the area," he said.
He said he is concerned that a stranger could have picked up the teen and abducted him.

Man, he was all over the place there...JMO

He was suggesting the many different possibilities of how Dylan could have vanished.

I just thought search teams like these are ready to go right away.
unless they are involved in another search.

I just think its very sad. Here we all sit and hes out there.

You could be right. So until LE confirms that the 9:37 PM text came from Dylan's cell phone or iPod people shouldn't state as fact that Mark has Wi-Fi in his home because Dylan sent a text message with his iPod.

Not buying that one Cheese!
If he was at that house he would have sent R a text first thing.
He wasnt having a sit down breakfast with anyone.
There is NO WAY this young man wouldnt text R if he was able!

Not sure what you mean by "Not buying that one". I'm not selling anything. I stated my beliefs.

Here's what I posted -

Going by the statements and behavior of the people who know Dylan, it's my belief that it was within his norm not to text or text back people at times. For example, if someone visited him or he was talking with someone, my belief is that it's not outside his norm not to text or text back, even with those he's closest to.

ITA she may not have understood the significance of the question & assumed cell phone, but at least we know they have ck'd his iPOD account & we learned this around the time the latest evidence came back. It makes total sense that he or someone used the iPOD that was left at the house & would back up what Elaine sees on the cell phone records but until there is confirmation, I guess we have to shelve logical assumption in that regard.

Who made these staments of Dylans behavior? The child was home alone.
what would keep him from texting his friend? Its my Belief Dylan would have contacted R as soon as he woke up and told him he would be there later. He would not leave R hanging! JMO

They are apparently up in Montana searching a disposal site for a young woman who is probably a victim of domestic violence. There's a post from the VP of K9 Forensics on the Sadie Says FB site that says they're heading to Montana, and the Tammy Salle FB page says they are there today.

This article says K-9 Forensics are in Butte today on a search for Tammy Salle.

Also has a blurb about the dogs being able to search at 25 ft depth.

It doesn't really matter what "we" were trying to ask her. She confirmed that the message was sent, not received, at 9:37 pm on Sunday. She also confirmed that it was sent from Dylan's cell phone, and that LE isn't willing to discuss activity from any other electronic devices. Whatever the purpose of the question/s, she gave the answers that I needed. MOO

Seems like there must be search teams with dogs available who could have done this sooner. JMO

I respect your beliefs and everyone's opinion who posts here. I sometimes only lurk here because it seems like I have to suit up and put on armor in order to post.

Why do I have to defend my opinion? Why do I have to defend myself if I ask for a link to support a fact? At times I don't feel like doing that so I just read and follow along.
