Kids constantly receive friend requests via online gaming. People who allegedly want to play, challenge, etc...It is a prime spot to target kids. If parental controls are not set up or the kid has enabled geo location finding, there are many personal details that can be shared through gaming. Unknowingly or just not understanding the settings of online gaming programs. In my opinion, scary stuff.

If Dylan played this game at his Dad's, this would be a potential way to meet a perp. Scary, indeed!!

Location services would be on the iTouch, not the Xbox. IIRC, Dylan did not have or bring his Xbox to MR's. Still, it's the iTouch that would worry me in that case.

I am trying to find out if he does play it. If he does then maybe that 9:37 text was to a person he met on it. JMO

One thing of importance with the new missing Dillon is that he is a young man who appears more of a young man than a child. He weighs 180 lbs and is much taller. A child predator would not have an easy time with a young person of this size. But FBI needs to look at this scenario.MOO.

From the articles I've been reading, the Hispanic person involved in the Dillon Mckee news is a Female Hispanic, and they've included a name Tessa i believe.
I was viewing the article and noticed they included different pics of Dillon McKee, and one photo appears to be him wearing a Blue Devils hat, but not the same that Dylan Redwine was wearing.

It appears this could be a possible friend relationship disappearance involving Dillon McKee and the Hispanic Female.

Operation Game Over last year removed 3500 online gaming accounts fron registered sex offenders across multiple games and platforms in just New York.

Scary scary stuff. And Dylan is in that target age range. This article shows how easily these predators get access to our children.

He could have been playing an online game that you play with others. Like WOW or something along those lines. My son plays black ops, WOW, and another online game. In all 3 he talks to people. Then he wouldn't need a game system, just a computer. JMO

FYI, according to my child that age and all her friends , the new cool game to play with peers AND/ OR strangers is called LOL,,, League of Legends. It's played , not with a console, but directly on your pc/ laptop , similar to WOW. That means you don't have to have an x box or playstation to play ' through ' it. I think it's a little bit softer than some games, so it appeals to younger teens, maybe even younger. I'm not sure. Whether or not Dylan played it , no one knows, but I'm sharing this info for folks with kids, just in case.

I agree. For some reason though, I thought I read somewhere (I'll see if I can find a link) where he said Dylan didn't bring any video games.

But, it is my understanding that there is an online version of the Xbox game Call to Duty. So all Dylan needed to play the game was internet access.
Also, Dylan could have played this game (if he did) at a friends home or at his own home, spoke to potential perp while playing the game, revealed Thanksgiving plans … perp put plan into action.

It has been reported that the perps sent one child a train ticket. The parent found out and the child did not meet the perp. See second paragraph, comment JE.

Dillon is almost an adult and appears to be a runway. He was seen with some female at a gas station. Gas stations have videos, so I presumed that is verified sightings.

I agree that it is unlikely Dillon and Dylan are linked. However this is a reminder to explore Dylan's online activity as a possible risk.

While I don't believe there is a connection, I am also not going to rule it out. What if, no matter how small a chance, that they are connected and they find this person(s) and end up finding Dylan and or a couple other missing kids in the mean time. Besides the name, the thing that stood out was how close, distance wise, they are to each other. JMO

Similarities between Dylan and Dillon cases:

*both on break from school*
*school break had just begun*
*both teenage males*
*both cases mention hispanic person*
*last seen locations are one hour apart*

online gaming or Xbox - yes for Dillon; DR - not sure yet

There may be more. These few are too many to discount a possible connection.
Could this be a ring of perps? What is the motive? Could this be child trafficking?
