How would they not? They are also assisted by FBI, so even if the local LE are clueless, FBI can not possibly be.

Similarities between Dylan and Dillon cases:

*both on break from school*
*school break had just begun*
*both teenage males*
*both cases mention hispanic person*
*last seen locations are one hour apart*

online gaming or Xbox - yes for Dillon; DR - not sure yet

There may be more. These few are too many to discount a possible connection.
Could this be a ring of perps? What is the motive? Could this be child trafficking?

Teenage males of very different ages.
17 year old is basically an adult. Sounds like 17 year old voluntarily took off with a young woman.

From the articles I've been reading, the Hispanic person involved in the Dillon Mckee news is a Female Hispanic, and they've included a name Telsa i believe.
I was viewing the article and noticed they included different pics of Dillon McKee, and one photo appears to be him wearing a Blue Devils hat, but not the same that Dylan Redwine was wearing.

It appears this could be a possible friend relationship disappearance involving Dillon McKee and the Hispanic Female.

I saw that hat in the picture, but not being a sports fan, I wasn't sure it was the same team. I was going to ask you all if you knew if it was a Blue Devil's hat.

Whether they were there on day one or day three, records from video game communications (if there was any) would have been obtained. FBI is aware of this type of thing. JMO

There appears to be no connection whatsoever between Dillon and Dylan.
Except similar names.
Dillon is almost an adult and appears to be a runway. He was seen with some female at a gas station. Gas stations have videos, so I presumed that is verified sightings.

This debate is OT and IMO, irrelevant. He was using his own debit card and driving the car. At 5'10" and 180lbs. He might be stupid to take off with a "possible" stranger, but it sure doesn't sound like an abduction in any remote sense of the word. MOO

He still could have been lured. His phone pinged. Then pinged no more.

Dylan could have left on his own and been lured as well.

Until the cases are solved, IMO, anything is possible; therefore, no stone should be left unturned.

ITA. This is a theory and while I know it's probably not popular since it doesn't point directly to MR, why can it not be discussed? They may not be connected, but IMO it brings up a whole new scenario. It may be farfetched, but at this point I think it warrants a discussion. MOO

Yes, I do not understand the negative comments. I do not understand why some attempt to stop the conversation.

Well since it doesnt' ' name a suspect' I don't see why it could not be discussed.
It's totally possible but I would hope by this point ALL communications by Dylan
for the weeks prior have been thoroughly looked at , meaning texts, IM's, FB's ,
video game chat logs. Geez, it just struck me how really vast our electronic trail is.
Think if you disappeared tomorrow how many different communications you've left
via the web and phones. MY DH would be none too happy to see how I spend my
days, haha !

Maybe not, but that doesn't mean that local LE are not aware of rings such as these predators are part of. They get bulletins and alerts every day on the newest ways criminals are using to perpetrate their crimes... whether it is against children, women, the elderly, whatever.

me.....cell phones & internet etc weren't an issue when I had teens around, (LOL) so I'm totally lost there. Could a runaway find NO other means, ie a trac phone or something else?
