To be fair it was not ' people'. It was just me and it does seem SO fake and grandma's just told me that is how Mark is,,,,,,,,just fake . So I guess whether or not he is ' genuinely' upset during the filming as he is ' acting' like he is would be the more accurate question.

The only thing that surprises me about any of this is the fact that you've tried and tried to POLITELY tell people about this side of MR and they choose not to believe you.

That clip in the polygraph room, MR hair is messed up looking, and he's wearing a bluish grey tee shirt, The way they edit these clips is so mind boggling.

I thought it made him look like they made him go work out or play some 1 on 1 basketball first. Was really weird, the difference between the onset appearance and this backroom appearance.

I don't either. I think it's called STRESS! Obviously he is looking a mess on polygraph day. Why would an innocent person be so stressed I wonder?

I think it might be a bit stressful, even for an innocent person, to have your children, their mothers and strangers all over the country accusing you of doing something criminal (especially murder) to your young son, threatening your life, making jokes about your looks, criticizing the way you talk, and then having a television personality join in with the accusations on national tv. Maybe it wouldn't affect a lot of people here, but I do believe it would stress me out quite a bit. MOO

For the record, I don't believe any of the threats against his life have been made by a son or any of their family members. That was just an awkward sentence.

You all know I'm fence sitting, but Cory just told his father that he hated him. If Mark is innocent, he'd be a wreck. If something accidentally happened to Dylan, he'd be a wreck. And if he purposefully did something to Dylan, he'd be a wreck. I'm seeing wreck here, no matter what.

Oh no Dr Phil would not fall for it. This aint his first rodeo ya know Seriously I've seen all kinds of Dr Phil shows where people try to lie, manipulate, cry, play the victim etc etc and Dr Phil see's right through the bull.

Yeah, it's a darn shame he was "forced" to let things get this bad...or go this far...or anything/anyone else that he can blame. Poor, poor MR. I'm sure he was forced against his will to do the show and "act" the fool.

I might be wrong, I will see if I can find a link, but I believe the "court ordered visit" was because they switched from Mark having Dylan at Christmas to Mark having him at Thanksgiving because Dylan's Grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and the Colorado Springs family wanted Dylan to be there for Christmas. IMO, the main reason they say "court ordered" is because Dylan did not want to be there for Thanksgiving. (The switch was not his idea).

Thank you! This makes more sense as to why "court ordered" would be so heavily emphasized, although the motive behind it seems a little different than some of the stories imply IMO. Sounds like it was "court ordered" because it was a change. Sadly no matter what Dylan wanted I doubt a judge would've 'given' ER both holidays, so this was probably the best compromise they could come up with - totally speculation.

I feel so bad for Dylan having to be torn like that. Heck as an adult I get frustrated and upset trying to 'divide' time between parents/families for holidays. I can't even imagine the additional frustration of having little say in the matter at age 13.

And after all that he missed both Thanksgiving and Christmas with either side of his family.

I think his problems started when he wouldnt talk to his ex or his son about the son he lost! He brought this all on himself as I see it! It could have gone down a totally different path!

I don't think so. 4 million people watching the show out of 250 million adults in the USA comes out to 1.6% of the population. And not everyone watching the show will end up hating Mark; There will be some people who think he wasn't involved. So I don't agree with any idea that Mark wouldn't be able to live/travel anywhere without everyone around him noticing it's him and hating him. It will take a lot more than two episodes of Dr. Phil for Mark to be recognized everywhere he goes.

I know someone personally like this and he will try to lie, manipulate and weasel his way through anything but the minute he feels he's losing the battle the tears and poor me come. It's almost comical to watch. He can flip like a light switch.

Sorry, but I don't see that happening. I think that when the Jodi Arias trial ends, Elaine might be able to get on Nancy Grace, but I just don't see the case "blowing up" in the media at this point. It's a three month old case, in which LE has been very quiet. Most cases that get a lot of media attention fade out of the news by the three-month mark. I can't think of an unsolved case that the national media had no interest in it, and then months later, decided to start obsessively covering it, unless the case was going to trial. I do hope the Dr. Phil appearance leads to some more opportunities, though.

It's amazing to see someone like that, isn't it? I just had a sales person at my door do that yesterday. Crying and weeping about something he had wrong with him, but he was no quitter, etc, and would I buy his magazine subscriptions? When I said "No", his whole face changed and the tears disappeared. Creepy as heck.
