While I am glad, of course, for the much increased interest in Dylan, I can just imagine the "tips" LE is having to deal with. Tips in Kyron's case topped 3000 in number early on, and we know how that has worked out. Sadly, there are a lot of people who just cannot seem to resist calling in "suggestions" for LE, dreams, visions, and just plain want to chat about the case. I did some volunteer work in a tip line years ago, long before the internet made it so much worse, and it was unbelievable what LE has to deal with. The "bigger" the case, the more loonies want to take part.

But of course they all have to be examined, as you never know.

I CAN VOUCH FOR THAT!! I swear, whenever I see some of these folks talking about their "dreams" and things like that, followed by several other people telling them to call the tip line, I have to cringe....:what:

this may have already been posted but in the Nancy Grace video from November - MR's ex girlfriend (who was also on Dr. Phil) was the first person to post a comment underneath.

http://www.hlntv.com/video/2012/11/28/friend-missing-boy-family-speaks

Thanks for linking the above, I just read her comment concerning her claims there's no cell service at MR house.

it appears her Credibilty concerning any statement is worthless, I've already Deternined her appearance on the Dr Phil show to be another of MR Deceptive tricks.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Bender said the officials who administer polygraph tests for the county were certified, trained and experienced.

Bender said he hoped the Redwines' appearance on “Dr. Phil” would continue to generate more tips about Dylan's possible whereabouts. Bender had said before the Redwines' interview with Dr. Phil was confirmed, tips had dwindled to just two a day, whereas since then, the hotline has been receiving about a hundred a day. Investigators see media exposure as their best shot at cracking the case

Bender said law enforcement would watch Dr. Phil's interviews with the Redwines.
“Whatever information we might be able to glean from the show would be part of our criminal investigation and is not something we can comment on,” he said.

Seems the investigators are glad they went on the Dr Phil show- for media exposure, tips, and investigative clues.

I know that when Baby Lisa's parents were on the show, there were 120 tips that came out of it. I'm interested in seeing how Dylan's case compares. I think there would be more tips from Baby Lisa's case because it had more of a "Have you seen this baby?" focus so people call in with sightings.

Actually, I thought there was information that MR has a large lien against him for repairs after a fire? Does someone have a link?

http://durangoherald.com/article/20121127/NEWS01/121129662/Search-changes-focus

Mark Redwine worked at United Pipeline Systems in April 2010 when a kitchen fire caused heavy damage to his house.
The person who answered the telephone Tuesday at the company in Bodo Industrial Park said, “I’m not going to give out any information at this time” when asked if Redwine still is employed there.

We don't even have to look at life insurance to follow the money.
Elaine's child support to mr was being cut off.
mr was going to have to start paying Elaine child support.

I agree that money (or what it represents) could play a large part in this.

If that's the case, it really saddens me. IMO, personally having been there done that to an extent, it says to me that money is more important than your child (generally speaking). My husband and I "had an out (for no better word)" when it was found that his son was not his biologically (7 years ago) and his ex was trying to petition to get my husband off the birth certificate, we fought to be able stay in his life because the relationship meant so much more to us than anything else. While my husband now has custody, due to multiple issues including this one, we have never sought support from his mom. If he were to go live with his mom in the future and support was reinstated, it would not matter to us - all we want is what is best for him. It's just really hard for me to understand, even though I know it happens, that child support is a motive in killing your own flesh and blood - it is sickening to me! I am not saying this happened in this particular case, but if it is the case, I just have no words.

I think an article posted a few posts up said they are getting "one hundred per day" already.

Sounds like if LE hopes to glean info from the show, they are certainly considering that at least one person on the show has something yet to reveal.

I don't agree with your post at all.

That's okay.
All that matters is Dylan being Recovered Safely, and MR telling the Truth.

MR and his TV Supporters seemed to be lacking credible information, The mail carrier wasn't even positive in her statement that she had actually seen Dylan.

And MR ex girlfriend appears on the Dr Phil show claiming the way MR stated how Dylan acted that Monday morning, was same way he acted the week she Traveled to stay with MR.

MB's phone rang there. mr said there was "spotty" cell phone service. So for his ex girlfriend to say there was no cell service...well...she is incorrect. Even according to mr.

I am actually very shocked that some are defending MR...there is only 1 reason he wouldn't take that poly. And I don't think he drank to get out of it, I am willing to bet he drinks every night.

BBM

We are all entitled to our own opinions - just like those who have their minds made up that "MR done it".
There is still a couple of us that are undecided. Still on that fence, still need evidence.

Bless you both for loving his boy so much.

I just saw this, and it may be old news, but I hadn't seen the definitive and emphatic report about the dogs hitting on a scent. It seems they are convinced there is a person under the ice.

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S2947880.shtml?cat=500

"Sabre absolutely went crazy there, he had bark alerts in the water, he was scratching at the ice through the snow there," she said.

Kessinger says Sabre is specifically trained to ignore animal remains and to only look for human scents.

"There is something there, we can't be positive that it is Dylan but there is somebody there," said Kessinger.

anyone remember that Kate Bush song, Under Ice?
"It's wonderful
Everything, so white.
The river has frozen over
Not a soul on the ice,
Only me, skating fast.
I'm speeding past trees leaving
Little lines in the ice,
Cutting out little lines,
In the ice, splitting, splitting sound,
Silver heels spitting, spitting snow
There's something moving under
Under the ice,
Moving under ice - through water
Trying to get out of the cold water
"It's me"
Something, someone - help them
"It's me"."

youtube it. it's chilling. no pun intended.

Surely, LE can get divers in that one area now.

Her cell provider may not have had cell service there.

It is completely unfair to say people have zero credibility when they are trying to help to the best of their ability.

I would hope so. they seem so quick to dismiss things and not follow through. I dunno if that's the case but that's how it seems. The location seems specific enough now. They might not even need divers - just sonar in the right place and snow/ice removal.

Thanks for your reply. It would be a potential lead to find out how much child support ER was paying, MR was paying, etc.

Hopefully, we can get some new leads going.

She made the comment after Dylan became missing, She stayed with MR a whole week prior to Dylan's disappearance, MR stated stated Theres cell phone service at his house, for her to state there's no cell phone service at MR house is totally a False and misleading Statement.

There was a article a few days ago concerning Law Enforcement and there next step concerning the dogs hitting on the lake, I need to find the article, but it seemed there going to have a meeting on how to proceed.
