I cannot find anything through google that talks about five branch rivers. So maybe it's a local thing? All I can find is the five branch campground. I'm still perplexed about the northern part of the lake. I can't find Wendy's statement that she made about her findings and I think it may have been on the FB page and is now removed or maybe I'm just confused. Last thread we were talking about the initial search in the northern area of the lake and then we were also talking about the dog hits. I need to go back to the last thread and see if I can figure read over what's posted there.

I have drove myself nuts enough tonight and I have a early morning and big day, so I'll have to try and remember to look back next time I get a chance to get back here on the thread.

SBM

Innocent until proven guilty specifically refers to US judicial practices. It does not refer to or constrain a person's ability to use logic, deduction, facts, or evidence to form an opinion or state an opinion outside the judicial process. A person's actual innocence or guilt is not necessarily reflected in court decisions either. The innocent are sometimes found guilty, and the guilty sometimes are found innocent. Neither changes whether the person is truly innocent or guilty. If Mark murdered Dylan, he's guilty of murder even if no charges are ever brought. Discussing opinions doesn't convict someone. That's reserved for courts. Nor does it change their true innocence or guilt. And discussing is what we do.

Moo

I understand all of that. I also understand that Lawyers look for people that have no opinion or prior knowledge of a crime. How on earth is MR going to get a fair trial, which everyone is entitled to guilty or not.

The post I made was not intended to inflame or upset anyone and I apologise if it has done so. I am at a loss though as to explain why its ok to say that he is guilty, but it doesn't seem to be accepted to say that he may be innocent. Call it playing devils advocate, call it what you will. My end goal is DR being brought home.

the reasons I think premeditation are:
one way plane ticket, per MR and CR.
only a few snacks to get through a couple days. "Dylan was only here for a short time". How did MR know DR would only be there for a short time when they were at Walmart???

Everyone has a right to their opinions no matter what those are.

Be respectful of each others opinions.

Lawyers do not look for people who have no opinion or prior knowledge of a crime. They look for people who do not have a preconceived opinion of the accused's guilt or innocence and are willing to listen and carefully weigh the evidence as it is presented in a court of law.

So is there a 5 branch river or rivers? Or is she referring to the 5 Branch area and Pine River?

The following is from a posting by Ransom.

"Going by video from the NM news with Wendy:

5 creeks/rivers would be:
Lost Creek, Vallecito Creek, D Creek, Grimes Creek and Berri Creek. All those feed into the Vallecito Reservoir at the top most northern end of the Res.

Remember the tip during the Dec 8th search about Mushroom Lane/Road? That's really near where all those creeks/rivers feed into the res.

Still not home ... just going by the video from the ABQ report."

Alright all, I think I've answered what I can. I will try to pop in tomorrow, but have a hectic day. If anything new and major pops up and there are questions that I might be able to help with, feel free to ping me and I'll try and get on.
Night all.

Should one want to get out of jury duty, tell them you do have a preconceived opinion. I did this one time, not because I wanted out of jury duty, but just to be truthful. I also went into detail. The DA could not get me out of there fast enough and said something about me contaminating the whole jury pool.

Thanks.
So, was there also talk of the dogs (this week) being over on the E. side and the 5 branches area, or am I just all muddled up?

does anyone remember or have the transcript from Dr Phil where MR is talking about having gone to Tristan's. ER calls him out that first he said they were home and told him DR wasn't there and then he says no one was home. MR fumbles and talks in circles about the boys going to fish at the lake and apparently says he "didn't know if they were still in the water".
Did he actually say this? They being - fishing pole & Dylan?

right, and all the dog hits were by the dam. so it must not be the 5 branches camp area. it must be the north end of the lake right at the dam. the picture is painted pretty clearly.

I read a few posts today out of C. Springs and the posters had never heard of Dylan until Dr. Phil. I am sure there are thousands more who do not pay attention to these cases in the news, much less the details and the rumors and/or facts about MR and what he may have said, etc. If necessary, I am confident a CO jury can be found who know little or nothing beyond Dylan's name, if that.

Jurors take an oath to arrive at their verdict based only on the evidence presented. Sometimes, after a not guilty verdict, jurors interviewed will say they believe the defendant is probably guilty, but they were unable to vote guilty based on the evidence presented. There's no way to guarantee that every juror will do his or her duty, but I believe most take the responsibility seriously and make an earnest effort to follow the law.

People have every right to believe MR is innocent. Or fence sit until they know more. My opinion is that he's involved, but if I were a juror on a hypothetical trial of MR and knew no more than I know now, I would vote to acquit. We can all think whatever we want but only the jury is charged to presume innocence until or unless evidence is presented to the contrary. MR "is involved" theories are argued against just like MR "is innocent" theories are met with disagreement. All MOO

a little off topic but on the polygraph comments MR made on the DP show about the La Plata polygrapher not being qualified (or something along those lines)..I was glad to see that Bender knocked that little "diddy" down.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Bender said the officials who administer polygraph tests for the county were certified, trained and experienced.

Thanks for this... I was curious... And it makes me wonder 1. Someone is lying about the polygraph in the first place and 2. IMO Of he took another he knew the outcome would be bad.

LE had not commented on anything MR has said, until he "dissed" their polygraph examiner, lol.

It was BH question about the trip to T's house:

Dr. Phil:
BH (MR’s 1st wife), you’ve been watching everything that has transpired here, everything that’s been talked about. What did you want to add to this conversation?

BH – MR’s first wife:
I would just like to have, or to hear Mark say what happened. There’s so many questions, and the stories keep changing, and that’s why people are looking at you?

MR:
The story’s not changing…

CR:
Oh really?

Dr. Phil:
What are you hearing changed, BH?

BH – MR’s first wife:
Your story has changed…

MR:
No it hasn’t! In what way? Specifically, in what way has my story changed?

BH – MR’s first wife:
You said you went to T’s house and talked to him and he didn’t see Dylan. Your next story was that you went to T’s house and nobody was there, so …how could you talk to somebody that isn’t there…

MR:
To respond to that, if I may, I attempted to go to T’s house to talk to him but he didn’t answer the door. I assumed that possibly him and Dylan were at the lake. You know the fishing pole has never been found…I assumed that maybe that was a possibility. Do I know for a fact that he had a fishing pole? Absolutely not…

CR:
When you go into your house the fishing pole is in the garage. You didn’t walk through the garage and into the house before you went into the house...

MR:
There’s several places that that fishing pole is… it was either next to the TV

CR:
It’s always in the garage. Then how come that’s the first …you noticed that before his bike? Before his footprints?

MR:
Well, you sure know a lot, you sure…

CR:
I’ve investigated it in my mind since this happened.

MR:
Well, boy, then why do we have legal enf… or law enforcement involved when we got you two…

CR:
Because they have to deal with people like you who won’t tell them the answers… who won’t cooperate…

His answers are unreal. He makes my head spin. Dr. Phil must have been bug-eyed during some of these ramblings.
