What we did was a process of elimination of areas. earlier this week sabre picked up on a scent on the east side of vallecito lake despite all the snow and ice. Sabre absolutely went crazy there, he had bark alerts in the water, he was scratching at the ice through the snow there. kessinger says sabre is specifically trained to ignore animal remains - and to only look for human scents. There is something there, we can't be positive that it is Dylan but there is somebody there. SHE SAYS SHE ALERTED law enforcement and the redwine family. Divers need to go back in my opinion. AND KESSINGER still stands by her offer to help the family - for as long as it takes. When it comes to an end and the police funding runs out the overtime is too much - it's these teams that need to come on out and do this, keep it going. we talked to the la plata county sheriff's office - and they say their hounds picked up on a scent in that area of the lake this fall. they used sonar and sent in divers - and turned up nothing. kessinger still believes it's time for another look. )

Yes and I do believe she informed LE and it was reported that LE would be out there this weekend. Where exactly 'there' is I do not know. Somewhere on the lake.

I'm beginning to wonder if he even exists ! I mean , is it possible someone hoaxed MR and he didnt' even know ? It's just laughable the crazy things put forth by MO and the name crappy pants and the paranormal stuff. Could this be some bored college nerd who took advantage of MR (* i realize how that sounds) and trying to make a name for himself , immediately realized he had no idea what to do so he bailed? And FWIW the tipster MO brought forward or mentioned FIRST has now been found and found to be nothing...... the whole thing is weird. There are always clingers on in high profile cases. I did not realize this was a high profile case but I guess in that area it has been from day one.
Thoughts ?

I imagine a lot of people forgot about that sicko that claimed to have kidnapped Dylan at the start and was demanding Ransom money !!

But it was much more than just 'rambling' imo. He was deflecting and twisting things. And he was very condescending and rude towards Corey, even before Corey blew up and said he hated him.

I just watched that portion again this morning of the Phil show . MR's tone changed quite a bit when he says to corey 'you're being very disrespectful right now' ( paraphrasing) . It made me think that tone was used over and over with the kids when they were bad perhaps and that tone usually got results like ' yes sir' ' sorry dad' , etc. But at some point in the sentence MR realizes a ) im on national tv b ) coreys' an adult C ) corey's not afraid of me anymore. I may be reading way too much into it but that's my take, my jmo , my moo moo. He raises his voice and even leans forward a bit, if i remember, as if it's time to put this boy in his place for talking to me like that..........then OOPS......

I could not believe he even spoke to CR that way. Clearly, he is nothing to CR anymore, and CR is an adult who happens to be Dylan's brother.

Actually I kind of thought he would bail.

IF MR is reponsible, can you imagine the conversations they had. He wore out a retired forensic psychologist and a man with 35 years of experience in polygraphs who trains for the FBI.

MO must have been exhausted.

I wonder if Mark admitting his drinking and poor state prior to the poly to a nationwide audience will have any impact on his employment. Seems reasonable that his poor choices might cause concern when a portion of his job is driving truck. Moo

“I do a lot of things on my own,” said Redwine, a truck driver. Among his other activities, “every time I get (back) into Durango, I talk to other truck drivers” to have them keep fliers in their rigs, he said.

The PI used his FB as a public forum irt to the case, and released info about a tip on it prior to LE having received it.

Yes it was resolved. link. It's in the media thread. FYI

Moo

Well thank goodness that is not going to be left hanging out there for a defense lawyer.

if you are not showing respect for yourself, by making good decisions and working at being a good person then how can you demand you receive that respect from someone else?

I've been gone from WS for awhile. Did anyone find a FB for Mark? I don't have FB, so :dunno:. If so, wonder if he's friends with Olson/RMI, for example.

It troubles me that he might have demanded it from Dylan that night.

I'm from Georgia, and I've had people tell me to my face that they were shocked that anything intelligent came out of my mouth because of my acccc-cent (bless their hearts). For me though, my issues with what MR has said have nothing to do with regional accent, educational level or even uneasiness about speaking publicly.

When he speaks of matters not directly related to Dylan's disappearance, he is quite fluid. It's only when the sensitive details of that Sunday night and the following Monday are brought up that he begins to evade and confuse the issue. His inappropriate use of "we" indicates an effort to share or avoid responsibility. He doesn't say outright, "I didn't hurt (harm, kill, kidnap) Dylan". He says, "I would never harm that boy" or "I had nothing to do with it".

From the first, I feel that his statements have denigrated ER, CR, and more subtly, Dylan. I think he's being deceptive, but it's JMO and MOO.

Thanks for bringing this up . I wondered what day he said the above ?
Also around early Jan or late Dec, I specifically remember an article saying
both MR and ER went back to work ' this week' or something like that , indicating they had NOT been working prior to while searching for Dylan or waiting for word. SO I wonder what day MR went back to work vs. what day he says he's handing out fliers to the truckers in Durango .

ETA ,, MR did not mention he was handing out fliers to truckers on the DP show when he was asked what he had been doing and CR was saying he's done " NOTHING" to help. MR did not correct him and say that he had done some flyer distribution. I guess he forgot and honestly I'm sure bright lights, audience, etc. one would forget some things. SO I'll give him a pass on that ........... after bringing it up ! ;)

With respect, I have to take exception to this. I have a very good friend who is quite intelligent, but when he gets excited or worried, he stutters. Terribly. He begins to look as if he is incapable to saying anything intelligent at all. Granted, this man would be searching squirrel dens if that's what it took if his son was missing, but some people just stutter.

His FB page was deleted in January, I believe. I'm sure he's still out there somewhere... :moo:

Just thinking back when Lacy Peterson went missing -- it seemed forever before Scott Peterson was charged -- and he had changed his hair color, was driving in someone else's car, had camping gear and was headed to Mexico. It seemed like authorities got him at the very last minute before he could get out of dodge.

So -- maybe the "wealth of evidence" is all there -- but nothing that can definitively tie MR to Dylan's disappearance and/or possible death. In spite of circumstantial evidence, it seems without a body, nothing can be done -- not even refer to someone as being a potential suspect. While I can't blame investigators for not wanting to send divers into freezing cold water, it seems avoiding it prevents a potential faster resolution. Why doesn't the FBI send one of their dive teams in? Or bring back the sonar and do another search. They know someone is in the lake -- I can't understand how they can justify delaying finding out who it is.

I am new to this thread and it ia moving to fast for me to keep up. I don't know about that lake but I do know another one not to far Rom there. It is extremely deep, I don't even think they know how deep it is.
