]My fear is that MR had nothing to do with it, but all of the accusations and rumors will eventually set off the wrong person who will do something to him and everybody else will just consider the case solved.[/B] MOO

The first few times he spoke, everybody was pointing out the fact that he always said I and accused him of only thinking of himself instead of Dylan. It was also said that Elaine used "we" as much as he used "I", but those same people said it was totally different. I'm thinking he read enough of those comments to make him decide to use "we" instead of "I" to get the focus off him. Obviously, that didn't work! MOO again.

She interrupted him when he talked about him possibly doing something (can't remember what, maybe going to the bridge or rock wall?) and said something about it being November, which sounded like she thought it was too cold to do it. He responded to that by saying she hadn't sent a coat with him. I thought at the time that he was just saying that he thought that if she believed it was too cold to be doing things outdoors, then she would have sent a coat. I really am getting a complex when I see how often I perceive things differently than the majority. Onde more MOO~

I feel sometimes like I watched a different set of videos than everyone else :( FWIW - I agree with what you've said here.

As for the COAT LOL
If my son was going somewhere I usually laid out the clothes for him.
Not saying thats what he took because no matter what he was taking what he wanted to take.

Many times id put the coat on his bags for him to take and he would go out the door without it, Id say hey where is your coat? and hed say Im not taking a coat!
So it may not be Elaines fault at all.

Just sayin!

I stopped buying coats when they were 13 or 14 they just wont wear em!

Elaine says We because they are a family unit!

Mark is alone why he says we I dont know.

I don't believe anyone will see this case as "solved" until Dylan is returned home to his mother...alive or deceased. JMO

When MR uses the word "I" it's fairly evident he is speaking of himself. He is accused of being a "me, me, me" person when he speaks about himself repeatedly and not about Dylan, (no appeals for Dylan, not asking for help, not thanking those who provide help, etc)
When Elaine uses the word "we" she has a "we"...her fiance', Mike and her son, Cory. That is her "we". Completely different from MR and his current references to "we"...who is his "we"? Again, JMO

I believe the point everyone is trying to make is that whatever Elaine tries to explain, MR is always there to point a finger at her and distract from the conversation by blaming her for some perceived inadequacy she has committed. Completely out of context with the original statement. You can choose to see whatever you want. Just my opinion.

Reply above in blue. JMO

O/T
I don't find that odd either. I 'talk' to my deceased granddaughter on a regular basis. I was a counselor in my last life and conducted grief sessions for children.

But you both knew they were deceased and that is the point. It sounds like he knows he is dead. IMO :websleuther:

Or could he accidentally letting it slip that he's got an accomplice?

I'm repeating myself here, but I think MR's "we" refers to Mark himself and his "dark passenger." I totoally think he has a split personality.

I totally agree, I remember Cory stating that MR never hurt either one of them !!

Yeah, but I think at that point they were trying a new strategy to get him to talk because many other times when they have addressed that issue, ER and CR have at least insinuated that he has verbally, emotionally, or physically abused them in the past and that would be a part of court record. So you can call it my opinion only if you want but it is fact. :Banane23:

Remember that there is probably lots of debris in the lake and a body could easily get caught up.

If theres a person in there with a backpack on, The clothes inside wet will help weigh a body down, Plus a backpack attached to a body could easly get snagged entangled in underwater debri.

MR from the beginning Referenced the lakes, along with convienantly injecting the fishing pole as the reason Dylan would have went to areas of water.

Dylan's baseball cap he wears was never located, It's going to be interesting if the backpack contains it along with the cell phone, Recovering the backpack could reveal much needed clues and DNA.

I know I'm late in watching Dr. Phil, but all I can say is WOW! The transcripts really don't give you the full impact of the show. I am absolutely speechless and heart broken.

I am on my phone so cannot link but per Pine River Times Facebook there is a suicidal woman at Vallecito Dam.

I wonder if there are any area's around the south end of the lake that have a steep drop off? I'm not sure about the bridge going over the dam or what that's like?

It's probably unrelated. They say vehicle is secured and ambulance on scene.

My first thought was the Postal worker. God I hope not!!!

Yeah I bet unrelated. Just close...

Usually when they say they have secured the scene or secured the vehicle it means that the scene is safe (no weapons etc).

Snipped by me. Until recently, I really thought there was a good possibility that MR wasn't responsible for Dylan's disappearance. And when I'd see posters here disecting a video, I'd think about how my take on his behavior was so totally different than theirs. I saw a man who I thought was very well restrained given the arrows that ER was slinging and knowing how much scrutiny he was under. I felt that people were dissecting every word and behavior of his as if there was some standard by which every parent of a missing child should behave and by which he was failing. And I felt that was unfair since not everyone reacts the same.

But now, I do believe MR knows exactly what happened to DR, and every time I go back and rewatch a video or see something he has said, it reinforces that belief. And I understand what others are saying about the things he says, the way he behaves and even the ways he doesn't behave. I don't have time right now to explain further as I'm heading out the door, but I'll just say that my 180 is not based on some new look at the evidence or lack thereof, but solely on MR's actions and words. There are just some things that I don't think can be explained away by saying that not everyone reacts the same way when their child is missing.

ETA: I could be totally wrong in my assessment - I was possibly wrong in thinking that he was innocent, so I could be wrong in thinking he's not.

"I know that law enforcement is doing everything possible. They’re doing what they think they need to be doing, which is another reason why I tend to not participate in as much media as maybe my ex-wife does because I believe in letting the investigation run its natural course."
Blasius

“I know they’re looking for my son, but I’d prefer not to say anything,” Redwine said at the door of his house. “I prefer to let the investigators do their work.” link

VS.

"I question why it has taken this long to start scouring the lake because from Day One they have known it is likely he had a fishing pole with him," Redwine, 52, said.

Another source of frustration is with the Dylan Redwine Taskforce of law-enforcement agencies, he said. He said in the last day or two he has been trying to contact the task force for updates but has received no response.

Mark Redwine's usual contact with the task force is Lead Investigator Dan Patterson of the La Plata County Sheriff's Office. He said he saw Patterson Friday, but has not heard from him since.

One of the hardest parts is the type of information he does get.

Mark Redwine said he was told there's an area of Vallecito Reservoir that's “of interest” to law enforcement. This follows a search by New Mexico state dive crews Nov. 25 near the Vallecito dam. At that time, nothing was found.
